Finally, he had a day off after what had seemed like ages since the last one. He was free to do whatever he wanted today and he was deciding to better himself and his position in the Oracles by actually studying and reading the Annals of the Conqueror after having their meeting earlier in the week. In all honesty, it was quite embarrassing to not know the language that the ancients used to speak and the Oracles were known for having knowledge in. But then again, nobody except for Kumoni seemed to have any grasp on the language either so he should not have felt so upset and embarrassed as even his brother had no knowledge of it. Still, it was better to learn it now and have it handy in-case the group got into a sticky situation which was quite possible in the shinobi world.
The time to get to where the ancient text was held did not take long nor did it take too long to find the book among the other texts based on its mysterious lettering on the cover. He would open the book slowly as the knowledge on the pages began to absorb into his brain like a parasite feasting on the content in the body. His eyes would begin to feel like they were burning as he began to learn all about the ancient to modern history of the village with occasional missing parts since the book had withstand Cabel attacks on the village. The material that really captured his attention on the pages were the ancient medical techniques and surgeries and how they had evolved into the modern day practices that most medics in the world had grown up on and knew all too well.
This knowledge in this ancient book was wonderful and it fed his appetite on so many other important factors that contributed to the Hidden Sand Village that he had known today. He had learned past leaders of the village and Sennin along with the wars that Suna had fought through and the numerous past faces that had fled the village. It seemed this text had everything that a shinobi could ever want to know about the world concerning the Hidden Sand and it also was not entirely hard to read in the ancient language as someone had slowly decrypted the ancient writing to a more modernized version so he could slowly learn the ancient language and the words that they meant in the modern times.
It was also quite helpful as it contained the alphabet and pronunciations for words much like a dictionary. He definitely wanted to take this copy home with him, but that would be unfair to anyone else that was seeking the knowledge so he would need to have Kumoni create him a version as they were now in the Oracles together and officially could talk like true professionals in their field with the knowledge that he had just sat and learned. Of course, he didn't just master the language like that, it would take him many hours and breaks between readings to memorize and continue to focus on the text. But in the end, he felt like he had a really strong grasp on the ancient language and he would be better prepared to tackle his new side-job.
