Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

To go. It was time to go.

Tatsuya has spent enough time in Konohagakure, and it was time for him to leave. He would leave behind memories and more, things and people that had caused him to ponder his decision and whether to stay. But Kumogakure awaited. He was sure no one was specifically waiting for him given the way he had grown up and raised. He had a bit of immunity from prosecution given that he had asked specifically to go on a soul search. He found his family, left his family, returned to his true family, went for an even deeper search, and ended up here. Whew.

Tatsuya approached the gates, a large backpack attached to his back. He did not have too many possessions he wanted to take, just a few mementos really. He was dressed back in his Kumogakurian garb, which he had requested to be tailored here in Konohagakure. His old clothing was long gone by now, given the number of years that had transpired.

He approached whoever was there to provide his passport, so that he can then leave. Yes, the passport would indicate a no expiration, no 'must return to Kumogakure' date, indicating he was fine to leave now. He was more mature now, and hoped that he did not look so different so much older now compared to his photo in his passport, that he would not be recognizable. Worse comes to worse, he'd just have to send a bird to Kumogakure he guess, to get a new passport or something.

Given the recent attack on the gates and the residence of the Hokage, it was clear the guards were already on edge and Sennin Soku's orders hung over all of them that no one was to enter nor leave Konohagakure withour prior approval, it was for this reason perhaps the majority of visitors and those seeking safe passage had been most unforunately rejected. The man who approached them now recieved the same treatment, the two shinobi who manned the gates stepped forward to block his path neither making a move further as they looked him up and down. Frankly, they were tired, tired of all the tense, pent-up energy knowing a crazed madman was running around within the interior of the village.

"At ease." Soku's voice rang out as she strode forward briskly and they made way as she decided to process this herself. Each person they let in or out could be the man responsible but she was willing to put her money on the fact that the one responsbile certainly would not try to leave Konoha like the average person, they had made a show of entering with a bloodbath and as much as she hated to admit it, she was sure the same thing would happen when they made their escape as her palm extended in an unspoken question .

The face was foreign to her, not one of their shinobi as she spoke. "As you most certainly are aware by now, there was a recent attack on our gates and the Hokage's quarters, numerous shinobi were killed in a ruthless manner and as a result, our gates are in strict lockdown until the appropiate culprit can be caught."

As she spoke, her eyes slowly analyzed him wondering, did he have the blood of Leaf shinobi on his hands? Still, the common exception could be made as long as his paperwork was in order and Soku deemed it safe.

"However, if your passport and things check out, you should be fine, just be vigilant on your travels."

Konohagakure had already seen firsthand what getting too lax could result in.

OOC: Firstly, apologies for not being aware out of character that there was recent turmoil. Just recently reactivated, I really should have checked up on recent events first. :p

IC:
This was what Tatsuya was worried about. As the recent events have triggered significant changes to the village, so has it changed Tatsuya's perspectives. What transpired here... well as far as he know, as a foreigner, is still an ongoing major concern. And without much more information, it was necessary for him to return to Kumogakure to figure out if anything needs to be done. It pained him to leave Konohagakure at this time, but he did need to go.

So being stopped by the guards, he kinda felt like it would not be the case that he could leave. How could one person argue his case, when it is so insignificant in the current scheme of things?

Luckily, another shinobi arrived on the scene. She commanded the guards aside to let her deal with the situation, and well, that was that. Sounds like now, he had a chance.

"Thank you for your consideration. I am saddened by the unnecessary deaths that had occurred, and am with the people of Konohagakure in this time of trial and tribulation. However, I also need to return to my home, especially if uncertain times are ahead. I hope if anything bad happens, both shinobi of Konohagakure and Kumogakure can stand together. as for my passport..."

Tatsuya rummaged through his clothing and pulled out a secured pouch, from which he drew his passport to give to Soku. In it, everything should check out. He came here initially as an ambassador for Kumogakure. He had stayed beyond for his own reasons, reasons that he hope he can return to in the future.

As he spoke, the Sennin nodded her thanks, her hands toying with the hilt of her blade strapped to her back. The two Chuunin that flanked her were ready as well, should this foreigner make a move or as much breathe towards their Sennin, the soil would taste death and for once, it would not be Konoha blood that littered it.

She knew he might be innocent, totally unaware but in times like this, it was best to be cautios and while every part of her wanted to scream no, keep him here as her hand inspected the passport from Kumogakure, Soku knew it was stupid. The Hidden Leaf Village and the Hidden Cloud's treaty still held strong and she was certain the Raikage would have some choice words for them if they hindered one of their own from leaving, keeping them here like a prisoner.

"Your kind words are appreciated, I see no cause to keep you here, everything checks out." She offered him his own documentation back and the gates which had been firmly shut and bolted at a nod from Soku began to swing open just a crack, enough for a single person to slip through.

"Please do inform your people back home of our situation, a attack here could happen elsewhere as well, I daresay you would be the last person that will be leaving these gates until this matter is resolved."

A nod and the guards stepped aside as Soku gestured for the man to take his leave wondering if she was letting a potential murderer slip away or not.

Once Tatsuya stowed his passport and other documentation back into their secured container, he was ready to be on his way.

He gave Soku a polite bow. "Thank you very much. Best of wishes to you and the people of Konohagakure. I hope recovery, while difficult, will only render all stronger."

With that, he took his leave and well, left, going on the long trek back to Kumogakure.
