Character History: “My family always believed that I was a miracle when I was born. I think it’s a greater miracle that I am still alive.”
Bugendai Ketsueki was born to a low class family. His father worked a bizarre job of making herbs for more natural medicine. Never once believing that he would need to learn new ways of healing and those traditional healing practices worked in the past and they would continue to work forever. His mother was a secretary at the new Kumogakure hospital. These two similar professions are what brought the two together but their differing opinions on the matter always lead to in home fighting.
Being the single child born from them, due to his mother and father not being able to conceive well, Ketsueki attempted to be the shining example of a son that would make them proud. He was never a problem child, worked hard in school, and did everything his power to never receive scolding. He did not want to praised, he wanted to never be a burden to them.
His father passed away one day due to a vital heart disease and due to him refusing to receive proper treatment for it only lasted a few short weeks before it claimed him. During his last week of being bed ridden his father told him that he was proud of him and attempted to teach him as much traditional techniques as he could, hoping that one day these would unlock the way to curing what even science could solve.
After this event Ketsueki worked hard thinking he would become a real doctor and make his way in the world. After all, the entire world could use more doctors. However, this is not what the world would have in store for him.
After an event that almost took his life, Ketsueki would change his tone slightly. He told his mother that he wanted to be enrolled into Shinobi School. He not only wanted to learn how to heal through chakra but he also wanted to come to terms with reality. He needed a way to help those that needed him most, he needed to deliver justice and heal those unfit to battle. He would become a Medical Shinobi and save those in need.

Bloodline Roleplay:
It had been a very successful morning. Ketsueki had been busy with studies and helping his mother around the house. It had not been until she received an order for some traditional medicine that things had started to go south. For one thing Kei had not been very good at making it since he had so little formal training with his Father. His mother needed the income still so Kei had taken it upon himself to work his best at making it.
Upon walking to the people whom needed the medicine he decided it would be wise to get it to them as fast as possible. Of course this meant going through alleyways and running a bit close to seeder parts of town. His mother always told him not do this but his inner desire to help people as quickly as possible always made him negate this. After all he had never gotten in trouble in the past, why would it happen today of all days?
Turning through an alleyway though he happened upon seeing a group of people speaking to an individual. Lowering his head he needed to skirt past them and it would be a short block or so away from where he needed to go. Upon getting near the group he heard a loud thwack as the man suddenly fell to the floor. He paused and looked down and saw blood…just blood, everything else vanished. That was at least until he felt a sharp pain in his stomach. His body became numb and he trembled as he looked down. A knife and more blood…his blood.
He fell to the floor as well. Unable to even hear the men who were now leaving. Why was he stabbed? Why was this guy on the ground? What would he do now? He felt his vision blurring. He only needed a little time. He needed to get this medicine to the family. They needed it. Thoughts of himself were gone as he held his stomach. Never remove the item…otherwise the blood will flow too much. He kept pressure on it even though it hurt. He bit down on the bag and used his arms and legs and urged them to keep himself moving.
He kept focused and continued moving. Only the thoughts of people getting healthy filled his mind. He would make it; once he made it there they would call the police. Help would be on the way but only if he kept moving. His vision started to clear, his will power strong in holding onto what little blood he might have left. Suddenly feeling a gentle push he was on his back. A light green healing aura covering his vision. A gentle voice…a prayer?
He fell asleep then. The pain subsided and he lost all control of himself.
Upon awakening he shot up startled. His mother was asleep next to him, a worried expression on her face. He looked over and saw another person in the room. He asked who they were. They were a medical shinobi and they had some questions for him. After checking to make sure he was alright. They questioned him how he had a knife in him but had very little actual blood loss. This was a sign he thought. This was the miracle that kept him alive.
