Character Name: Izayoi Aoi - Family Name Given Name
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Appearance: Her dark, granite eyes shine brightly against her pale skin, except when her bangs shield them from the artificial illumination in the subterranean Sunagakure. She stands at 4'6" and 80 lbs, her slender frame striking a remarkable balance between skeletal and flabby. Her garb consists of the traditional Miko attire, including red hakama, white haori, tabi and watari, and a red-white candy-cane striped ribbon holding her long, black hair in a ponytail. Around her neck is a medallion engraved with the Sentama Legacy's symbol. (Writer's note: this looks like an ouroboros wrapped around a yin-yang symbol)
Personality: In stark contrast to other students, Aoi is silent, stoic, and well in control of her emotions if she has any at all. Her time spent as a Miko for a Sunagakure Shinto shrine has enabled her to restrain the inherited Sentama Outrage as well, and as such she is not as hostile or volatile as other descendants of First Man Sentama Akumaru. In fact, she tends to be peaceful to a fault, often displaying pacifism and mercy when none is deserved.
History: Orphaned at an early age, Aoi was adopted by a Shinto priest and raised to be a Shinto maiden by the other Miko. At first, the Sentama Outrage that ran in her blood clashed with the Shinto principles, but in time her devotion to the religion had bolstered her control over her natural heritage.
On her 13th birthday, the head priest gave her the medallion she now wears today and explained to her that not only was she a true descendant of the First Man Sentama Akumaru, but also that she was destined to save the world against a great evil by the name of Zansatsu. Her curiosity piqued and a sense of heritage discovered, Aoi enrolled in the Sunagakure Academy, eager to continue the Sentama Legacy.
