Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Weapons:
Haijin [Cripple]
- A specialty projectile engineered by Jenosaido Bruinetto. The outer appearance of these projectiles make them look like harmless black orbs. On the surface of the orbs are shallow etchings which help lower it's wind resitance and being hollow allows air to flow through it dramatically increasing its momentum. When these projectiles hit a target they will explode with a stunning concussive force. While this makes them unable to be recollected after a battle they serve the sole purpose of debilitating an opponent.

- Vampiric: The user gains Hp equal to 10% of the total damage dealt to a target.
- Amplify: The weapon must be capable of inflicting Suppression, Called Shots or Bleeding. Increases the chance of inflicting Suppression, Called Shots or Bleeding by 5%.

Nokogiriken [Saw Blade]
- Another specialty projectile engineered by Jenosaido Bruinetto. The concept of this weapon is a variation of a shuriken coupling it with the design aspects of a saw blade. The edges of the spiraling blades are all serrated giving a deadly cutting edge. Blades that get lodged into a target are not easily removed and their removal will insure a “bloody mess”

Accuracy/Dmg modifier: +/- 0 Acc//+0% base dmg

Augments
- Primal: Basic attacks costs 0.5 AP.
- Razor Strike: +5% Bleeding Chance.
- Crippler: +5% Called Shot Chance.

Pacifista
- The only weapon in Jenosaido Bruinetto's arsenal that was not engineered by him. It is however a modified version of what typically was considered a Windmill Shuriken. Staring off what looks like a single blade can be unfolded into a large shuriken. What has been modified is the edges have been dulled no longer having a cutting edge making it a blunt weapon. The metal has been tempered in such a way to make it a denser and heavier metal to increase it's blunt effectiveness. Making it heavier makes it less accurate weapon but the resulting force behind it packs an exceptional punch to knock the wind out of an opponent.

Okay, along with this I will start declaring some affinities

Major: Fire
Minor: Wind
Advanced: Kinesis [will be doing the RP for it in the near future, just marking this for reference later]

I am also a part of the main branch, so I will be taking Shinobi 101 of the ninjutsu variety so that I gain the Advanced Affinity: Gravity and I will be taking the following branch ability

Journeyman
Living for adventure and the knowledge of the world from their journies these Nin excel in completing missions.

Information:
Prerequisites: C-Rank

Effect:
- Jutsu cost -5% Chakra.
- Being in a [Mission] does not take up an Rp slot. The user is still limited to normal Mission rules.

Strong Arm
While he often found a great deal of comfort being locked away his lab at home there was one constant that he found reoccurring in his life. Racking his brain for hours on the same problem and not coming a conclusion he always took the time to walk away from it in order to clear his head. Just what would he end up doing to clear his head? Oddly enough it was through the practice of his taijutsu. While he performed his taijutsu he spent less time thinking and more time doing. Freeing his mind from his meticulous thoughts it allowed a form of escapism. Even though he considered himself more brain than brawn the boy could even surprise himself. Losing precision in his attacks from time to time the effective damage of his projectiles were oddly enough greater than anticipated. Sacrificing accuracy for a better overall effect, not usually something he would consider with his conservative mind but perhaps there was a certain effectiveness to this method...

Called Shot
Despite this new approach to his throws that wouldn't mean he would allow his accuracy to fall into shambles. Naturally though his Sharingan could compensate for this haphazard method there was danger in always relaying on his inherited gifts to close the gift. The training dummies he practiced against all were labeled with vital areas. It was best to commit these places to memory and lucky for Bruinetto his memory retained information much like a sponge retains water. Overtime he would meticulously practice taking shots to these areas as to familiarize himself with them. Hitting these vital spots could be quite debilitating when done correctly. Even if an opponent overwhelmed him quickly overtime he could bring them to a crawl slowly but surely.

Projectile Aim
It would be time to up the ante though with this training. An opponent wouldn't always remain stationary and just give up the opportunity to hit them. At least that is not what a smart and able opponent would do. With a few adjustments to the course being used at the Grand Hall of Learning the targets would become more challenging. They would all move in a myriad of ways very similar to the course he had set up for his students several months ago at the last class he taught. Carefully observing the target and their movements it wouldn't be hard to learn how to track them and compensate his aim as a result. Despite taking a more haphazard method to his throwing style using this method as a counter measure it virtually balanced the style out overall. He was far from satisfied with these results though.

Dead Eye
Revisiting his debilitating approach of taijutsu he was going to incorporate all that he learned in this moment and apply it in a more advanced approach. Taking a hand of full of projectiles into hand there were multiple methods that he was going to practice. The first of which being a hasty method to attack more points on an opponents body. While each strike would be less effective overall he could strike more points simultaneously and with a little luck every now and again really knocking an opponent down a notch as a result. The second method was more precise but at the same time was not as hard hitting. It would give the over all effect of damaging a vital area but could amended much easier. However in that moment they spent amending such damage would open up an opportunity for attack.

Bloody Mess
Given certain opportunities against an opponent they could be capitalized in a multitude of ways. In a moment of staggering a moving target may become stationary. Being used to hitting moving targets it shouldn't prove difficulty to land the mark. Imagining this instance two projectiles would be lodged into the moving parts causing a training dummy to sway back and forth. As a result the dummy would no longer move being fixated to one stoic position. Reeling back and releasing a kunai with all his might it would blast into the vital head zone of the dummy. A quite visceral effect would be displaying as chips of wood and dust permeated through the air giving off a small cloud. Had that hit an actual person, that would have been quite a hit to take.

Weapon Mastery [Projectile]
Having worked up quite a sweat from this training Bruinetto was nearly reaching the apex of his physical work out. With dozens of targets littered all around it was his goal to make to land a “perfect” strike on every one of them. Like an unrelenting maelstrom kunai were constantly being drawn and thrown in all methods. Regardless of the type of target it did not matter if they were stationary, had predictable patters, moved in unconventional methods, or were even situated in hard to reach areas. It was diligence and will power coupled with his hard work which allowed him to land a “perfect” strike against these targets. Having a projectile in his hand felt natural at this point and didn't hinder the performance of his hands in the slightest.

Jutsu Mastery
Wondering if he could take this freedom of movement in his hands a bit closer as a fire had welled up inside of him from all this vigorous training it was time to make a shift towards ninjutsu. With projectiles in hand he proceed to go through a flurry of hand seals with ease. If there was one benefit to his nature in practicing genjutsu it was that his chakra control was exceptional. Long ago he could remember having to waste far more chakra on his abilities but now it seemed he could use much less to get the same effect. A powerful fireball burst out from his mouth soaring through the air blasting into a dummy causing it to be enveloped in a blazing inferno.
Acrobatics
Feeling quite proud of himself as he basks in the light of the fire created by his jutsu there was something that he failed to realize as a result of this. The technique that he had used and the way it impacted the training dummy would reveal a fault in their design. The rapid and uneven heating due to the stress inflicted upon it over the course of training would cause a violent reaction as the dummy would be flung apart releasing a stream of jagged wood chips and various projectiles that laid within it. There was little time to react by deflecting all of this shrapnel with additional items as he would take evasive action. Skillfully weaving to and fro with a multitude of hops and flips as his Sharingan guided him in providing an analytical eye aiding in his maneuvers. A slight sigh of relief came to pass. Perhaps this was enough physical training for now. At this juncture he would take his leave and head home.

Shattered Reality
After arriving home Bruinetto would immediately descend down the long staircase leading to a solid iron door. First removing the combination lock from the padlock and using a secondary key to slide the barred lock it allowed him entry into his study. Normally while he was in it the door was wide open for anybody to come in but otherwise he preferred to try and keeping people out from messing with his experiments. On the way home he recalled a tool he crafted for training awhile back. After having spent such time focusing on his ninjutsu and taijutsu. Lest he forget his primary focus of genjutsu it will dull its effectiveness. This tool shaped like a human head had a replication of a chakra circulatory system. It was the perfect device to practice ones genjutsu with variable settings of difficulty. Setting the device on one of the highest settings he would sit a few feet in front of it beginning to go through seals and casting genjutsu. While it was difficult to overcome the system he devised this almost seemed like child's play at this level. Holding out his hand he made a crushing motion with his hand dispelling the jutsu causing the head to seemingly jolt back in place. An effective way to end a jutsu with a rather nasty after effect. However this would not be the end...

Elemental Illusion [Fire]
Raising his hands through a series of seals he would once again focusing his concentration on the genjutsu training dummy. After a brief moment of attempting to overpower the device which had been amplified to its highest setting Bruinetto had gained control of its flow of chakra. Having assumed total control a separate process would begin. After assuming control of said chakra one was theoretically capable of molding said chakra to take on a different form. The object was to transform the chakra into the type he was most practiced at doing. Slowly the chakra began to take a new form as its molecules vibrated quickly increasing the overall temperature of the chakra causing it to rapidly heat up. The heat generated from this chakra had a slight visible effect on the dummy as it began to take on the properties of his primary affinity. Fully making the change from pure chakra into fire aligned chakra it confirmed his theory on this being possible. Just what kind of effects would this have on his genjutsu overall? This brand new insight caused his mind to dance with excitement as a series of ideas flourished through his mind. Finishing his training he went back to work on his research with newly a newly invigorated spirit!

Overall Buffs
~ -20% Jutsu Costs
~ All Chakra cost penalties from choosing to use 'Special Actions' are halved.
~ The user is capable of performing one additional Activated Auto-Dodge per round.
~ +15% Ranged Damage
~ +5% Weapon Damage Modifier.
~ -1 ACC to Ranged Taijutsu
~ All Called Shots only inflict half the usual accuracy Penalties.
~ +5% Called Shot chance.
~ +3% Suppression and/or +3% Bleeding, depending on which status the weapon is capable of inflicting.
~ Targets affected by Genjutsu take +20% Illusionary Damage
~ User can inflict Broken rank debuffs.
~ Reduces all Natural Negative Accuracy Modifiers from Custom Weapons by -1 to a minimum of 0
~ Ranged Taijutsu attacks which cause suppression have a chance of inflicting a random called shot debuff upon the target. The battle moderator must randomize, the base % chance to increase the called shot is half that of a normal called shot to the randomized limb; to cause a break requires the Called
Shot Ability.
~ The user's Critical hits will always increase bleeding rank, even if the attack does not normally inflict bleeding. This does not apply to non-offensive techniques aimed at allies that can crit.
~ When attacking a target at their maxed Bleeding Rank, the user has a base chance of 10% to deal 1.5% Max Hp damage immediately. This chance may be increased with the user's Bleed bonuses up to a 20% chance, but may only effect a target up to three times per round.
~ When either of the above effects trigger, the target will take an additional +.5% Max Hp damage per round from bleeding on top of their current Bleeding damage. This does not stack.
~ Hand seals can be used with projectile weapons while causing suppression or bleeding

With Weapons
~ Haijin: +0 ACC, -0% Base Damage → +5% Base Damage with abilities
~ Nokogiriken: +2 ACC, +/-10% Base Damage → -5% Base Damage with abilities
~ Pacifista: -2 ACC → -1 ACC with abilities, +10% Base Damage → +15% Base Damage with abilities

Bloodline
~ Sharingan Activated: +1.5 Dodge, +1.5 Accuracy → +3 Dodge, +3 Accuracy [Mangekyou]
~ Will of Fire: Fire Jutsu damage is increased by 15%.
~ Insidious Gaze: Genjutsu may be cast through the Sharingan, requiring no handseals and gaining +2 DC
Special Action: When casting Genjutsu through eye contact, the user may choose to activate a special effect. If chosen then the Genjutsu cannot
be partially effective. Should the Genjutsu be 50% or more successful it is treated as a full hit, otherwise it is treated as a miss.
~ Precognition: Allows the user to predict the movements of a target by heavily focusing on the changes of their chakra. This gives the user +1 Accuracy and Dodge against that target, and prevents the target from Auto-dodging the user's actions or Auto-hitting the user with any technique.
Notes:
- The user may only focus upon a single target at a time, and must have their Sharingan active as well as full view of the target.
- This skill does not require Ap to activate or to switch targets. However, upon focusing on a new target the user does not get the bonuses until
the start of the following round.

Obtaining Kinesis AE

Sitting in solitude by himself Bruinetto with his eyes closed sits there in a meditative position; With his legs crossed, elbows resting against his knees, hands pointed upwards, thumbs pressed against his middle and ring fingers, with his eyes closed. Channeling his chakra through his body he was focusing heavily on the picture in his mind. The picture in his mind was that of a kunai which was resting on a table in front of him. This picture he created in his mind was near verbatim to the one that was truly in front of him. His photographic memory aiding him in this task as he begins to channel his chakra through the air. The air acting as a medium for his chakra it would slowly transfer directly from approaching the kunai steadily. His chakra brushing over the kunai it would slowly begin to coat the surface of the item. Overtime this surface coating of chakra would be drawn into the center of the item infusing it with this chakra. The wind aligned chakra would start to be met with a flame aligned chakra starting to excite the molecules of the kunai along with the currents of air around it. The two types of chakra working in tandem with one another beginning to incite a rather interesting reaction as a result. At first the kunai starts to shake as it sat there on the table, but as time progressed it began to shift around slowly moving from its spot. Gradually it started to lift up off from the table just a few centimeters at first but gradually floating higher and higher it levitated in mid-air. Concentrating on the feeling of this mixture of chakras Bruinetto would open his eyes to see what exactly was happening. The picture in his mind and how his chakra had affected the kunai matched verbatim what he saw before him. A smirk coming to mind as he would release the chakra as the kunai simply allowed gravity to take its course sticking into the ground blade side down.
