Name: Hidemi Jin
Age: 12
Physical Description:
Ashen locks tumble down to broad shoulders to frame the seemingly perpetually scowling features
that make up Hidemi’s visage. As if to stand out much like his hair, he holds within his right eye a
bright azure gaze whilst left is that of a hazel hue. These distinct features contrast starkly to his deep
bronze skin which smoothly coats his lithe build, which stands of of an averagely modest height,
which is something of an issue for him.
Known for always wearing black coloured attire, Hidemi wears slim, formfitting pants vaguely
reminiscent of the “drop crotch” along with shin high shinobi sandals. His upper body is garbed in a
rather unique t-shirt of varying sleeve length. The right arm sleeve being that of full length while
the left sleeve stops just short of his biceps. Atop of this, he wears a sleeveless hoodie of
comparable hue with the hood almost always drawn partially over his white hair.
Hidemi has a somewhat hurried pace of walking, his shoulders ever so slouched while his hands are
seemingly always occupied, twirling a pen, tapping his palm to some melody known only to him, or
ever so often cracking his knuckles by pressing his fingers to his palms.
Mental Description:
Hidemi holds a quiet demeanour, not that he’s shy, but because, he has quite a high opinion of
himself, seeing others as not worth his time nor respect until they prove themselves otherwise.
Hidemi is, at his core, he is a cold, shrewd, and calculating individual, who honours no authority
above himself. He has no qualms with doing whatever it takes to get what he wants, from lying, to
breaking the law and/or rules, etc.. He is often described as selfish, rude, and insensitive by his
peers and an erratic anarchist by authority figures.
Adding to this, he is unreliable, constantly switching his actions and motives in pursuit of whatever
takes his fancy at the time, a hedonist if you will. Perhaps in eyes of some being a stark contrast or
contradiction of his ideals, one will find that he is quite the nihilist, often succumbing to bouts of
philosophical ramblings and broodiness. As unpredictable as he is, Hidemi’s behaviour is not totally
random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it. Despite these traits he is extremely
loyal to friends and family, perhaps to a fault as some would say, and he almost always keeps his
word...as long as it serves his interests in some way.
History:
Hidemi was born of a merchant mother and a father not known to him. He grew up quite a happy
child until his mother contracted some mysterious disease and died not two weeks before his
birthday. Stricken with grief, the warm happy child turned to a cold uncaring individual almost
overnight. The day after his mother’s funeral, the boy fled to the streets, and lived as a thief who, in
some twist specialised on preying on merchants. A few months into his endeavour, Hidemi had
somewhat of surrogate family of thieves who, in their minds, were pulling off daring heists and
escaping scot free into the darkness. It was during one of these escapades that Hidemi found himself
hiding out in one of the academy buildings. What happened after that is somewhat of a mystery, as
Hidemi doesn’t really talk about what occurred, except that he began living in the orphanage to be
trained as another shinobi.
