As he got older Jin has acquired a taste for tattoos and piercings as he has a rather large tattoo of the grim reaper on his back with the words death in Kanji across it in red and a silver bar piercing on left cartilage and a skull-piercing on his left ear lobe.
Personality: Jin is rather lazy, he would rather sleep than actually do any kind of work. He is sarcastic most of the time and usually very mocking towards people with his mocking politeness, Jin is quick to analyse any situation and is quick to find a way to overcome it rather easily as well as being able to keep calm under extreme pressure.
He is able to tolerate most things despite being cynical and dark towards them, such as loud people or naturally disruptive people but he would come off as severely sarcastic towards them in general.
Jin can be quite stubborn when he wants to be and rarely anything can change his mind once he has set him himself for something. Jin prefers quite as he is rather silent in everything he does due to him learning how to steal just about anything from his time on the streets, which he was able to hone once he entered the academy. He can move about without making a squeak of noise and likes the dark more than the light.
Jin's past as an orphan has shaped him in many different ways and has made him the person he is today. Due to his past as an orphan and the fact that he was always sent back to the orphanage by the family he had thought would finally take him in as one of their own. After being sent back to the orphanage for the third time, he had become disillusioned with the prospect of ever leaving the orphanage before the age of 10 and by then he had become highly sarcastic as well as cynical towards the matrons and other kids at the orphanage who had hopes of leaving the orphanage with a kind family.
Because Jin had run away from the orphanage at fifteen, he had to survive on the cold streets, while attending the academy and this predicament had lead to another change or adaptation to Jin's personality. In order to live on the streets and survive, Jin had to be able to figure out foe from a friend when approached by other homeless around him in order to tell if they meant him harm or not. This lead to him having to learn how to read a person's intention with body language alone which proved to be a hard task as he had been fooled before by a homeless man who had robbed him as he slept, this experience made him even more cynical towards people in general and had made him more closed off in general.
History: Jin's life before meeting Shun was not that all that great as he has never known either of his parents when he asked a matron about them all he got was his father and mother's names were Akatsuchi Orihara and Saeko Nakazawa. They had also stated that they found him on the doorstep in a small crib with only a small blanket to keep him warm and a birth certificate where it states that he was born in the village on December twenty-third. Due to the fact that his father is dead and his mother's status is unknown, this leads him to be taken to an orphanage at the ripe age of 6 months old.
Due to living in an orphanage all his life he has bounced from home to home and eventually coming back to the orphanage because of either financial problems or that he just wasn't the type of child they wanted After reaching his tenth birthday Jin had enough of moving from home to home only to end back to square one so he packed what little he had and ran away and had found an abandoned building in which he lived in for a year, and during his time as a runaway he learnt how to pickpocket without getting caught and furthered his skill on how to avoid capture as well as how to read body language to a certain degree which he already had knowledge on because of his earlier training.

He ran into the ex- shinobi named Shun Matsuda who would come to be his guardian and mentor as well as a father figure to him. He had met Shun on a wet autumn afternoon as he was on the run from the store owner for stealing a few clothes from a shop, turning a corner he lost sight of the marine as he walked down the busy street he spotted a rather tall man who was about 6'4 wearing expensive clothing.
As he continued walking he decided to nick a few couple hundred yen from this man as rich people had lots of money to spare well at least in his point of view. Following the man through sharp bends and dodgy alleyways he finally reached the last bend the man disappeared around only to find no one in front of him as if the man disappeared into thin air, as he walked off disappointed that he would go to his makeshift home penniless as usual he heard a deep chuckling sound coming from the rooftop of one of the building, looking up he spotted the man. "Look, kid, you got skill, I was watching as you stole these clothes and ran from the stupid store owner kinda reminded me of how I was around your age." The man said as he dropped down. "Hey, kid how would you like for me to teach you the trick of the trade and to become an expert shinobi like I once was. Oh yeah the names Shun by the way," the man said dramatically.
Thinking it over Jin decided that it could be worth it even though in the back of his mind he knew he wasn't going to trust this man as he was an ex-shinobi so he agreed after weighing out the pros and cons, months after Jin came to see Shun as a person he could trust as Shun had helped him over the two years they have been together and during this time he learnt how to be a better shinobi, he also learnt how to steal, lie even escape into the crowd as well as further his shinobi skills he had learnt at the academy, helping him rise through the ranks and making him a better student overall. As the year was almost over Shun decided he wanted Jin to come live with him as he had grown to like the kid and had started to love him as his own over the past two years, when he confronted Jin about this, Jin ran up to him catching him a bear hug as he wept tears of joy as he had grown to see Shun a type of father.
The years progressed and the seasons came and went, Jin had finally graduated from the academy and all seemed to be perfect. However it was not to be as tragedy struck, Shun had less than a few weeks left to live due to an injury he had sustained on a mission in his earlier days, which had forced him to retire from the shinobi world. It seemed that Shun had been looking for a person worthy enough to pass on all his knowledge onto and he had been that lucky person. Just thinking about the situation brought tears to Jin's eyes in which he refused to let drop as he recited the shinobi rule, "Rule #25. "A shinobi must never show their tears." As the weeks flew by Jin found that he was on missions most of the time which left him feeling depressed as he rarely got to see Shun despite living together, then one day as he arrived home tired from an escort mission to Suna, he was shocked to see the house that was normally full of life despite Shun's condition look so dull and lifeless. Rushing towards Shun's room, he slammed the door open to find Shun had died in a way befitting of a retired shinobi.
Years later and Jin is now a young adult, jaded becasue of life's course but still full of life because of one man's intervention. The road he shall take is a risky one but none the less a worthy one.
