Character's Mental Description:Before judging someone like Akeno and his worthiness for becoming a ninja, the reader must consider the emotions necessary to a ninja to function. Thought to have been mute for nearly a year, Jomei has always been a quiet and somewhat peaceful individual. Quiet individuals like Jomei are the most perplexing because they offer the least insight to the buzzing in their heads. He's a young thinking man, perfect for a ninja's task in a scary kind of way. Some kind of early-childhood scarring shit probably made him so awkward, but that's fairly common in ninja candidates. He is not very confrontational, and is submissive towards minor conflicts. He seems level-headed, and gave back some good results in the psych evaluations.
History: Our oldest records on Jomei report that he's from a small ricing community down in the wetlands to the south-east. Though the region is unclear, it's a fact that kidnapping was getting out of control back in the day. Jomei was discovered within a colony of farms where people were corralled as indentured servants and worked for pitiful wages. Among them, Jomei was the youngest and was too meek for men's work. He served as the personal servant to Lady Haruka, the wife of the farm's Owner. She was a crude, ingenious woman who wore the pants in her family who kept a collar around her husband's neck tighter than the one she kept on Jomei. That was a figure of speech. Though Jomei did not wear collars, he was subject to the whims of a human master.

- Appearance: Jomei is a child from a flatland rice farm community, and looks the part. His head of hair is full, thick, bushy, and poorly managed by guardians with sharp scissors and unsteady hands. His eyes match his hair in color and tone, resulting in an amber color theme about him. His skin is in decent condition with the exception of a few scrapes from the rigors of life. For a child, his hands are calloused and his knuckles are extra-calcified.
- Style & Wardrobe: In typical background-character fashion, Jomei does not dress very flashy. His color pallet is typically a mixture of pale autumn colors, and he generally looks how an academy student is expected to. Wardrobe will be defined in each thread.

- Motivations: Jomei has conviction to become an elite ninja, but is very distant when asked about it. He is not the most physically adept student and falls behind during drills against the bigger competitors. In order to compensate for physical shortcomings, Jomei is has developed grit and a knack for learning quickly. He hosts an introverted personality and aims to expose himself to the sun more, in order to improve as a ninja and functional member of society. He wants to develop friends like all the normal children.
- Fears: Jomei has a distinct fear of being trapped within small spaces, such as cages and boxes, better known as claustrophobia. He has a distinct fear of captivity, which invokes itself during scenarios of fight or flight.

- During a raid six years ago, Jomei and dozens of other slaves were rescued by a squad sent out to shut down the operation. The mission was led by one of our best Jounin Squad Leaders, who adopted Jomei during the mission's resolution. Lady Haruka, along with Master Hakura were both killed for resisting arrest. Arrows. All of the villagers were either returned to their homes, released, or welcomed into the Hidden Stone as low class citizens. The identity of Jomei's Foster Parent is currently unlisted in this report. Living with his foster parent, Jomei has wishes to fullfill his family's tradition and join the ninja academy now that he is of age.
