Physical (includes clothing): Surprisingly thin for his weight, Shinen is slightly muscular but not overbearing. Shinen's eyes are usually squinted, as if hunting or searching for something deadly. Shinen tends to wear dark themed clothing, usually black and crimson or black and midnight blue. His favorite clothing is made out of leather. Shinen's ears are slightly different, his left ear is a hair shorter than his right ear, allowing him to hear better with his right ear, which works out well when scouting.
Mentality: Shinen is anti-social most of the time, but he loves to talk to those who have earned his trust. He jokes around and has fun, but when people come to him for advise or to vent, Shinen has a lot of wisdom to share. Behind his kind demeanor toward others, Shinen has a dark, evil mind that is only shown when he seeks revenge, is asked to help get information out of his enemies, or when he decides to cause absolute chaos. When things are serious, and he needs to plan out a strategy, Shinen shares his strategic mind, which works best when he has a layout of the field. Although he does well in teams, Shinen likes to be independent whenever possible. He is always willing to die for his friends if he had to, for his friends were more of a family to him than his own family.
History: Born into the Kamatazi family, Shinen was raised the poor life. His mother was caring and did everything to support him, while his father was abusive and a jerk. With no siblings, Shinen felt lonely and was miserable. His father hit him a few times while he was drunk, and his mom divorced him. A couple years later, she remarried. Shinen's stepfather is a mental abusive jerk who wouldn't show any positive expressions toward Shinen, no matter what Shinen tried. Tired of the lifestyle he had, Shinen ran away and came across the academy in Sunagakure, which was a few blocks from his parents home. When he went in to check it out, he saw students working on Taijutsu and some students working on Ninjutsu. Impressed, he joined the academy. During his downtime, he studied many scrolls to learn many techniques in both ninjutsu and Taijutsu, as well as many battle strategies. When he was challenged, he used his studies and found his own style. It was through the academy, where he found his new life, and his new home.
