Reasoning: Born in extravagance and raised in opulence, it's hard to imagine how Kami could have picked up skills so quickly. But his childhood was not all rainbows and butterflies. From a young age, he has learned to accept that for each well-wisher, there are several people out there that want him dead. Assassination attempts the likes of which a child should never see, let alone experience, were thrown his way from as far back as he can remember. His first memory is of him being carried out of a burning carriage, after an attempt to burn him and his mother alive on their way back home to Konoha City. Trusting others became an issue when his best friend, Akazora Reika, abandoned him the moment she found out that he was part of the Yakuza. It didn't take long to realize that he couldn't rely on others for their intuition and their readiness. His Royal Guard, Shinzo, was the one from whom he learned his first-fighting. After every failed stabbing and unsuccessful poisoning incident, Shinzo would take care of the assassin while Kami watched. And soon, the fear that had caught a hold of his throat at a very young age, turned into a thrill. Motivated by the thought of death lurking around the corner, Kami picked up on Shinzo's talents, and as the years slipped by, he collected fighting styles from all of the people that tried to render him dead. In a sense, every time he escaped with his life, he learned something new. He became fascinated with Explosives, and with Boxing. He would day-dream about knives while in class to learn about diplomacy. When Shinzo was executed by the Yakuza for failing to completely protect Kami from an enormous bombing attempt, Kami lost the only anchor that had curbed his thrill of fighting. His new Royal Guard was Shinzo's daughter, someone who did not have nearly the effect Shinzo did. Without a beacon to guide his way, Kami became consumed in the world of combat, taking part in tournaments in disguise, imitating styles and copying techniques.
