Name: Kamiya Akari
Age: 16
Physical Description: Akari generally is a very slim young woman, but also very tall as well, being near six-feet in height, but even that is not the first thing one would notice about her. Her skin, due to experiments from Akkuma, had turned her skin almost bleach white and unable to tan or burn with the only exemption to this rule being her cheeks which seem to have a permanent shade of red upon them. Even with this, she does have a face that can be considered adorable and attractive for a growing young woman, even with her bright red eyes. In addition, she also has long blonde hair which she generally ties up in various hairstyles depending on her plans.
Mental Description: To the world, Akari is vibrant and full of life and energy. She's friendly to everyone she meets, many would say she has a showmanship quality to her personality. She's a hard-worker and very goal orientated and likes showing off to the best of her ability so long as it doesn't interfere with her missions. However, in truth, she's quite broken. She hides this with a bright smile at almost all times and rarely exposes any of her true emotions of feelings, making her mental and emotional state easier to control this way. Akari has had to commit horrible acts at a young age after seeing her parents deformed and needing to spare them suffering by ending their life. This is the main reason she works so hard towards her goal, which is to kill the person who forced her to kill her parents. She has killed many people since then, ruthlessly and without remorse for various reasons, but always in areas that are remote or people that could easily be written of as going missing no problem. She has since become an excellent liar and able to dodge even the slightest hint of suspicion since then.
History: Years ago, there were two ninjas in The Village Hidden in Sand. They were plain, ordinary ninjas, foot soldiers or perhaps slightly above. They weren't inadequate but they weren't impressive either, though they were hard-workers. In the later years, they would tell their daughter that once they were apart of a great and noble clan of Suna, but always withheld the specifics. They also kept some other important information from her. After their marriage, they found it impossible to conceive a child and were told that option would forever be closed for them, which caused them to despair. That is, however, until word of a powerful man had the ability that could not only make it possible for children, but to make those children powerful, but as with all miracles, it would come with a price.
Optimistic, if not arrogant, they decided they would pay any price. Not only were children in their future, but so was a potential life of moving up in society if they were to produce powerful children. Upon approaching this man, he was more than happy to make a deal. Money, naturally, but also he requested a first born. He could make use of a powerful child, if for nothing more than experimentation and fodder should it prove to be useless. Along with the miracle, he made it so their genetics would produce children far more powerful than they would through normal means, but he started experimenting with their first child while it was in the womb. He started to splice unknown DNA, unbeknownst to the parents, within the child to awaken later and through these experiments, when the baby was born, she was born with nearly pure white skin and red eyes and a red blush upon her cheeks. It was shocking, but the parents still fell in love with her. They couldn't give her away and fled the village to a remote corner of the Land of Wind.
It was a strange existence, but a pleasant one. They gave her the name Kamiya Akari, changing their own names in the process to avoid detection and lived out a simple life. She grew up happy and healthy, despite her odd appearance, always smiling and laughing, filled with joy as the years went on. She was taught the basics of her parents ninja skills so she could protect herself and learned about her Nara bloodline and life went on until she was 7. That was when her parents vanished and she was left alone. It was a trying time as the village they lived in cared for her even though she refused to leave her home. However, even this peaceful existence came to an end. Her parents returned in the dead of night, to this day she cannot recall had much time had passed though it felt like an eternity. They wore a raggedy, bloody, version of their Suna Ninja clothing and the headband seemed to be nailed into their heads as the bands hung cut at their sides.
It was quite the terrifying sight as many horrific things had been done. Things that would never leave Akari's mind for as long as she lived. They tried to communicate, but it was unintelligible. A second eternity she lived with and even today, the kunoichi cannot tell all that occurred. She does remember it was with her own hands that she took their lives. And it was with her own hands that she buried them. No one knew. No one would ever know. But her life changed and it was obvious. She smiled more. "You're never fully dressed without a smile!" were her parent's words that she engraved in her heart. She smiled to cover everything up. The pain, the guilt, her own secret, dark thoughts.
She kept their headbands, however. She left, even at her young age, to go back to the hidden village her parents were from. At first she traveled with someone from her village and then...she got by however she could. And that's when it occurred to her. Solving problems were difficult. People were difficult. It could be much easier if they just....weren't around. She learned to steal, to kill, in cold blood and all with a smile. A smile was misleading, it could warm hearts, it could encourage others, it could lie and deceive. These were only the tip of the ice berg of things that a smile could do, the mayhem it could bring, the chaos that would ensue. People always had times when they let their guard own, she learned to disarm with her smile, to find the ideal times and moments when people she wanted to disappear would be at their most vulnerable. When they would be away from people.
Many people went missing in her long journey, yet even if people wanted to suspect, she was long gone before then. It took over five years before she reached the hidden village and by then she was 13 and proclaimed herself the daughter of slain, former Suna ninjas, desiring to enroll in the academy. She expected to be rejected, but for some reason, she was accepted. All those years perfecting what she had learned from her parents and learning new things along the way, she graduated the academy rather quickly being at the oldest age enrollment was possible. And she was an official genin. It was a step in the right direction. During her travels she had heard of a darkness near the village and it didn't take long to find a name. Akkuma. She was convinced this was the man who inflicted that pain upon her. He would suffer for it. Even if it took a lifetime. Even if it took a hundred lifetimes. This was her goal. Throughout all the missions. All the blood she would spill. It was all to garner enough power to bend the darkness to her own will.
Bloodline: Akari had been raised in the shadows her entire life. Darkness felt comfortable, it felt stable. It felt like home. There was a warm embrace of safety in the chilling cold. The young girl wore a sweet and tender smile to confuse people, to disarm them, to charm them long enough to sink back into the shadows with whatever she desired, including the lives of others. Her parents had told her it was because she was apart of the Nara bloodline, a clan that controlled the shadows of others for their bidding. And so rather than fearing the darkness, she embraced it wholly. She would live in the Sun and control through the shadows. She no longer feared the dark, it welcomed her into its embrace in the lonely world where she could feel in control of all things. And she smiled. A smile she always wore, even in solitude to mask thoughts and emotions even from herself. But now, she smiled for a different reason. A shift of the atmosphere and a flickering candle were tell-tale signs that a new target had entered the room and her line of sight, just as predicted. From the shadows she would be swift and soon the victim would be buried without a trace.
