Character's Physical Description: She's petite, an agile frame for a somewhat short individual. Standing at a mere 5 feet, and weighing about a hundred pounds. Her style of clothes lends itself to the task at hand and is always changing, no one static outfit. Her battle attire is usually tight fitting, her civilian clothes more loose and big, like hoodies and sweat pants.
Character's Mental Description: When off the job, she's the most relaxed and normal individual you'd ever meet on the street. One couldn't tell she was a ninja from first glance, only when in full ninja garb does she become apparent, her attitude being more stern and serious, falling into typical ninja stereotypes. When in battle she can become feral, as is the trait she's picked up from her companion through her life, her wolf.
Character History:
Amaterasu means shining heaven, and she was named as such for being born under the sun, the light from the rays making her shine and glisten as she cried her first time. She was a sunan by blood, but was born just outside the malestrom before it had been destroyed. Her family were on the way back to sand, after having gone to a neighboring area to retrieve the pet she would grow to imprint on and vice versa. It was their bloods greatest strength, the ability to commune with ones most trusted companion. In her case it was a desert wolf, she would come to call Ace for it's mostly a one of a kind, or one of a pack, never in between.
Her family where pretty normal, ninjas in the employ of the village. When she grew up, she followed suite. Her academy days where pretty normal, she was an average student and there wasn't much going on there, her companion somewhat defined her to people though, always asking if she was a Takahashi, or assuming she was, because Melkor was the most well known person with her talents in the village. Her bloodline, while the same, was not related to the ones of sand, her blood having migrated from a different part of the world after the place had been settled. They'd been natives for generations, but it was part of the culture of sand, to be associated with the bigger group. Like sharing a last name with someone you've never met or have any blood association with.
Her gennin years were comprised mostly of killing rodents and honing her skills, as is most gennin. During this time, she began to become more wolf like in appearence, as she grew into her own as an Inuzuka, so did her wolf companion. This was good for her, made doing generally ninjarey easy.
The chuunin years had her doing less pest control, and more 'helping bring up the next generation'. She taught a few people, went on a few missions, lead her own gennin team, and generally did things chuunins do in a peaceful time. It wasn't until Jounin did things begin to get interesting for her, as that's when the cabal attacked.
During the Cabal attacks, she was tasked by her superiors to escort civilians around, keeping them safe at all costs. She fought many agents, and was really the first time she had to step out of her comfort zone. The ninja life took to her like a fish to water. When the cabal had been taken care of and things got back to normal, she went about helping the cleanup efforts and is now back to peacefully doing her Ninja duty.
