Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

01. Jutsu Expansion:

School was always hard for Isshin, as he had nothing that really set him apart. He took to training himself hard, so hard he alienated himself from friends and family alike. One of the many things he did was work on what jutsu he could learn, pushing them to their limits and beyond. It wasn't easy, and he got plenty beat up trying to do as such. Backfires, missteps and injuries abound, he came out the other end with a better knowledge of jutsu than most, though how much better remains to be seen. Only time would tell as he moved onto the next leg of his training.

02. Acrobatic

This leg of training was all about being flexible, when a Hyuuga is trying furiously to poke you in your bits, you want to be able to duck, dodge, dip, dive, and dodge. Not to mention if an Aburame ever got mad and sent his swarm of bugs at you. Being able to run away over walls, around obstacles, and to make sick dives into water would be a godsend. So, his training regimen included advanced yoga, followed by bouts of yelling for doing yoga TOO HARD! Every recovery, every scratch and pulled ligament healed lead him a little bit closer to a more acrobatic nature.

03. Supercharge

He was able to expand jutsu, and be both flexy and bendy, but he still had an issue holding onto his chakra reserves. His biggest weakness being that it run out so fast, so how does one keep the reserves going? You throw your own skills at yourself and try to absorb the energy wasted! It was mixed results at best, but the training did stick to some degree. He would later try against other people, when the ANBU recruited him and began training him. It was a pretty insignificant amount, but it was enough to keep him going that much longer. Surviving was the name of the game here, as someone with the ability to shoot fire out of their eyeballs would only lose to someone so stalwart as he.

04. Quick Healer

On one of his rest days, he had to help his father make a delivery to the Chikara residence pre-destruction. It was simple stuff, toiletrys and things of that nature. As his father haggled with the head of the house hold, he wandered off through the house rather rudely. He walked by some people training and into a room that smelled of lavender and farts. There he would find a bottle, and being the curious boy he was, and also thirsty, he took a drink. What proceeded was terrible agony followed by a whipping from his father in front of everyone. He would find himself able to heal up faster than before after that, and assumed it was just the miracle drink or he was so embarassed that his body healed quick as to help him run and hide.

[to be continued]

5. Bulls Strength

So what is another side effect of training your body to the breaking point? The pure muscle one receives when working hard, through the healing and the pain. One might say his body had not only grown accustomed to being strong and gaining physical muscle, but that his nerves where for the most part deadened and his body having a reduced reaction to the enzymes your arms fill up with that make it feel impossible to lift things. That means even if his body got tired, it was less likely he'd feel it under duress, extreme duress sure, but not under most circumstances.

6. Duelist

His training was mostly one on one, being able to fight one person really well became somewhat of a thing, and near the end of his training as ANBU did he begin to expand to other numbers until his unfortunate accident in the church of the jashinist. Though as he gets up in age, he will continue to learn, right now dueling it out with one or two opponents is his preferred fighting method. If it ever came down to many opponents versus him, he would have no issue running, he's got no pride and no shame.

7. Fearless

With great power comes...great confidence. Once you're pain sensors are deadened, you've been beaten so many times you don't know what it's like to not have injuries, and you've almost been sacrificed, you tend not to sweat the small stuff, or anything. Not only is Isshin fearless in all things, he's also somewhat mad, jumping headlong into danger because what's going to stop him? He's not only tough but had jashin on his side, willing to help for the sake of sacrifices, even if its his own life. Though Jashin would prefer he stay around, as that is more beneficial to the god, surely.

8. Defensive Technique

You get beat up, you learn to close yourself up. Punches and kicks become easy to read and blows to the body become easier to stand and handle. It's not long until your defensive ability is above what it was, regardless of if it was specifically trained or not. This is Isshin's case, and one of the biggest nitpicks of his first sacrifices, prior to the first ritual, was that he was too defensive, afraid to attack. In actuality he was reading the ninja, trying to learn their moves. It would later become important when he slaughtered them to save his own life.

Shinobi 101 - Taijutsu (Unarmed/Slashing)
ANBU - Sentinel
