Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Abilities
1.) Elemental Illusion - Water
The mind: it was an interesting topic of nearly every profession, including that of the shinobi. Because of it, one could use genjutsu to affect that very item. The consistencies of thought that the mind could create was as inconsistent as a Kirigakurian sea. It would make sense, then, that water and genjutsus would go together hand-in-hand, right? Karurosu pondered such things in his studies. If the two were so alike, it wouldn't be too difficult for the two to be combined, the boy believed. And so, the boy began the training of yet another skill and hone his greatest weapon.

2.) Willpower
The best illusionary masters also made for the worst enemies in the arts. As one obtained a greater understanding of the mind, one also understood the intricities of how that same technique could be broken. After enough training, one didn't even need to forcibly remove the genjutsu through the use of the manipulation of chakra -- it could be done more or less through one's determination, given that they knew what spell they were under. After enough training in one's years in the Academy, one could perform a genjutsu cancel; however, it took years more of dabbling in the darker arts of genjutsu to learn how to not rely on such simply techniques.

Those able to manipulate the mind either by determination of diligence in study, or those whom possessed the ability naturally tended to improve the more they worked with the art. Such was true for most things…though, those of the first group usually had a limit to how much they could improve. Luckily, Karurosu fell into the second group. It would seem that while the Deep One took the souls of the other Isaki solely for their wanting of money and power, the boy's blessing into eternal torture was in the power of understanding the mind along with its manipulation: genjutsu. Compared to his peers, the boy's genjutsus were significantly more powerful, something that had been true since the beginning of his years as an Academy Student. Whether or not that was still valid anymore, the boy wasn't sure. With a sly grin on the boy's face, Karurosu decided that it would be time to find that out.

Being in the Investigative Team forced Karurosu to look for what others couldn't see. Being around those who had this ability naturally, or what seemed as though it were natural, forced Karurosu to notice what they did, to see from their eyes if as though they were his own. Simply trying this during trainings helped Karurosu notice things. Details that one could go their entire life never noticing now stood out to Karurosu vividly. Karurosu might be able to actually contribute in investigations now. Though, not quite to the level of the several shinobi, sensor-nin, who trained their entire life for this. Now, it was time to investigate.

The heat of battle showed one's try character. There were those who succumbed after taking a hit, and there were those who came alive just when it seems as though the battle is lost. Years of training as a shinobi, and before that, a student, and even before than simply as an Isaki had forced Karurosu into the latter of the categories. It wasn't that Karurosu lived to fight, but he would refuse to lose in the heat of battle. He would push harder the closer to death that he got. Perhaps he might even find the strength of a god as his soul was being ripped from his body from the Deep One.

It had been months since Karurosu had broken his hand, only to have it healed in such a way to where he could no longer practice the art of the sword; it had even been a while since Karurosu was swiftly defeated by that titan of a shinobi, Kyojin. Since then, practicing the new fighting style had become the norm for the Isaki youth. He had already learned that he was naturally able to pick up the ability, but training allowed for Karurosu to make his projectiles an extension of himself, as his sword once was. Throwing more accurately and stronger were the only natural result. What else could be expected from such frequent trainings?

Being a shinobi, one quickly becomes familiar with the concept of being injured. Being injured is something common between the Academy Student up to the Mizukage, and everyone in between; Karurosu is no exception. Between the natural tolerance to pain, and learning how to manipulate chakra in such a manner as to heal the body as a medic, the Isaki's body became capable of healing itself as a natural response to pain, much like how white blood cells would purge the body of bacteria and virus-hijacked cells. Perhaps, Karurosu would often jest, this method of healing might one day completely repair his thumb again.

Sure, why not. You're only allowed to be up to your elbows in ladies though. Only Sennin and Mizukage get ladies up to their shoulders.
