He has brown eyes, a bald head, and a black beard that reaches his naval. He wears a black kimono and is always seen with a large scroll on his back. He is often times seen with a large smile.
Character's Mental Description: Kiyoshi is unusually devout in his beliefs. A person is allowed to insult him 3 times before he resorts to violence. He is a kind man, regardless, and allows himself a good laugh both casually and while fighting. Still, he has his moments where he likes to throw his voice to make puppets talk for him about his faith and other times. Needless to say, it throws people off.

Kiyoshi was brought up in Stone with a simple guideline.
“Honor the Old Gods”
As such, Kiyoshi was brought up to be a monk originally. He left a traditional ninja experience and wandered the land as a monk with his travelling caravan. His mother and father followed him and together they were happy. In his possession were how his family saw the Circle of Five. They were little wooden toys that he still kept. His parents laughed at him for keeping him, but it was always in jest. They loved each other dearly and their caravan was popular in the towns. During this time, Kiyoshi started managing the puppets that his caravan used to spread the word of The Circle of Five. He eventually became a puppet master and everyone loved the Puppets of Five as they became known as. That was, until the caravan was ravaged.
In the dark of the night, the caravan was set ablaze and many people died. Kiyoshi himself managed to escape but found that his parents were killed. Driven to the brink of his sanity, Kiyoshi decided to enact vengeance upon those who swore to desecrate his faith. At the age of 20, he joined the ninja academy. He quickly discovered his love of weaponized puppets and began to make his own collection. He also found that he was good at controlling chakr and seemed almost in tune with chakra. Was this a result of his training or his trauma? Who knows but Kiyoshi was good at it either way. The other students laughed at him due to him being so old, but still he pressured on. He would avenge his parents.
Genin rank was annoying for Kiyoshi. He was, again, the oldest Genin and was not picking up things as quickly as the others except when it came to chakra. It took him many times to pass the Chuunin exam but he passed eventually. As Chuunin, Kiyoshi found his groove. Specifically, he had more freedom to practice his faith. Still, people found him odd because he liked puppets too much. The Puppets of Five he had crafted by hand were known amongst the Chuunin squad as the toughest puppets they could find. Kiyoshi made puppets for those who wanted them. Soon, Kiyoshi “The Mad Monk” Tayu was promoted to Jounin, his puppets known for their ferocity and deadliness as they chanted hymns to themselves. His chakra control had increased to the point where few could match. Yes, he had finally found his place in the ninja room and he was going to be a tool of vengeance.
As a Jounin, Kiyoshi grew to knew heights powerwise, having a puppet brigade under his command. The Puppet brigade became known as “The Gods’ Vengeance.” Many people feared the puppets and his chakra control, which caused chaos on the battle field. As he aged, however, he was forced into semi retirement. He stayed in the bvillage, slowly delving into puppetry that should never be used. Still, he retained what little sanity he had, becoming a menotr to all puppet users and a God of Vengence to those who defile the old ways. Even as he ages, he still wishes to catch those who killed his parents. For now, he is happy with killing the wicked.

Kiyoshi loved fire. It was a key ritual tool for him so the fatc he loved how it felt made sense. He also loved making his enemies burn for their ignorance. That was a bonus. It was a random day that Kiyoshi decided to add fire to a ball of Earth. He had been playing around with dirt, an odd past time of his, when he decided to try to add fire to it. The first time he did this, he nearly burned his hands. The second time, the earth seemed to absorb the fire. Curiously, he looked at it. He threw it against he ground and had to body switch out of the way as it blew up. He landed clumsily 10 feet away. He looked at the scorched earth and laughed. Fomr there, Kiyoshi decided to make more of these wonderful explosions. He wondered if he could put them in his puppets.
He lost many puppets that day but he was deadset on finding a solution. Eventually, he used his chakra strings to act like a fuse so, when he pulled that finger, it would sent a spark of flame to his puppet which held an earth ball. He would twitch another finger and the puppet would open, dropping the fire infused earth. The results were spectacular. Eventually, he moved past this and could infuse his new explosive chakra into anything he wanted, including people! How fun was it to watch them blow up form the inside. Fascinating. The Gods were surely pleased by his work, to rain down explosive death upon his enemies. Those who say Kiyoshi the following days were scarred of the look in his eyes for they were alight with passion and the people knew that it never a good sign for The Mad Monk to be THAT happy. - WC 305
