Ayo, looking to reboot, if at all possible.
Am aware that I could rebirth, but I'd rather start from scratch ^^/
I also scratched the multi-persona idea and simply said that she has stages of what would logically be severe depression, I hope that’s still okay!
Old Character Name: Katsuro Yukine
Old Village/Missing: Leaf
OCR Type: Reboot
Last Known Where-abouts: Good question.
Old IC Rank: Genin
Main Branch/ANBU/Med-Nin: Main Branch
New Character Name: Miyuki Keiko
Preferred Username: Miyuki Keiko
New Village/Missing: Leaf
New BL/CA: Uchiha
Character Age: Sixteen years old
Gender: Female
Sex: Female.
Character's Physical Description: Miyuki has beautiful strands of black and white splashed throughout her hair, creating a magnificent contrast between the two. Held in a pony tail behind her head, her hair drooping down in all directions too, she has naturally messy hair. The length of her hair is at shoulder height and is part of her, she could never cut her hair off. Her ears hold golden rings that dangle, reflecting light and lighting up her face, creating an alluring smile.
On her left arm, bandages run down all the way to her hand, wrapped and tied tightly so that they cannot fall off. Underneath lays thousands of her scars, all up her arm, scars, cuts and bruises that refuse to fade away, like a bad memory. On her wrist, she wears a bangle with an emerald. A gift from her mother.
Her right arm consists of a black arm cloth that sits perfectly around her arm, roped gently by a small, red ribbon. Beneath the cloth are more, less
severe, scars.
Her main outfit is striped with lustrously resplendent bands, white fabric that holds it all together and a belt of sorts, wrapped around her waist, making sure it isn't too lose. Underneath the belt, tucked neatly in, is a small, grey cape of sorts, that flops down her back, reaching her knees, but not dropping as low as the floor. On these golden bands, there are images of flowers, dotted all across in different shapes and sizes. Around her neck, a prepossessing scarf, a charming ruby colour that droops over her shoulder, down onto her back.
Her legs plainly covered by the same cloth her left arm wields, secured by scarlet ribbons. Upon her feet are sandals, a favourite of hers to wear. She can always be seen wearing the same sandals because they fit like a glove. (The image is big so that all details as listed above are entirely visible.)
Character's Mental Description: As a quiet onlooker, she spends more time listening than talking or acting. Given a task, she'll follow it out regardless of what the task is but outside of missions and tasks, she's just a girl who wants to look after herself. Naturally, she's a rather happy person. Just looking at her would hint to a girl bustling full of emotions that she could let out all at once but she keeps herself calm and reserved. She has a determined mind set not to talk very often, usually only saying one or two words at a time. Miyuki is a believer of the idea that words should be valued and that by talking too much we simply ruin such value. She loves to smile, as well, but it's not often that she does because she likes to keep a serious persona but that doesn't really work, as it's obvious deep down, she's a bubbly young girl. Although, at times, she can feel a twist in her emotions and beat herself up heavily for her past, blaming herself for things she couldn’t control. And this is what makes her a worrisome person to know, as she could end up hurting herself at any time.
Character History: Miyuki was born into a very loving and adoring family, blessed with parents that loved each other, and her, greatly. She spent most of her younger days messing around alone outside or exploring areas at night when she should've been in bed, which had her parents worried sick half the time. One of these 'Nothing could go wrong' feelings is what she had. Living in a small house, with an elegant river and a graceful garden, with parents who loved her more than she could even imagine. She was even well known by everyone in the small town that she resided in, getting a lot of attention, which kept her spirits up.
Before long, they had a second child. The child was something out of a fable. Her sapphire eyes shined in the light, her smile brought warmth to their hearts. She was something to admire, even at such a young age, but she didn’t look at her parents. Her eyes latched onto her sister Miyuki, her smile grew bigger and her hands clasped onto her scarf. Miyuki, not much older than her newfound sister, gleamed back and giggled, with lots of love to give to her sister.
Time passed slowly and they grew up together, forming a bond that couldn’t be broken. They were inseparable, almost joint at the hit. They did everything together, they would fall asleep together, they would play together, they would eat together. Miyuki was always protective over her younger sister, she never let anyone belittle her or hurt her but she usually didn’t have to worry about that, her town loved seeing them together. Unfortunately, her father preferred her sister to her, which was fine, but what seemed to just be favouritism between children, her father’s negligence towards her soon grew into a hatred that she would never forget.
From a loving father of both children to a lover of one, abuser of the other. Miyuki was hit, beat and battered by her father. She had cuts all down her right arm, bruises on her thighs and scars etched into her left arm. Miyuki did her best to still see him as her father but all she could do was cry to herself when her sister fell asleep. Miyuki barely understood his reasoning for hurting her, she thought it was something she had done herself. She implored him to stop, to tell her why but he refused to let her realize. It took awhile for Miyuki to begin to show her hurt in front of her mother and sister but it came along. That day Miyuki’s sister hugged her and felt like she needed to protect her older sister for once. She cradled her older sister for hours as the tears gushed out, refusing to cease. Her mother, now aware that her father was abusing her, began to lose in trust in her husband. This didn’t stop his maltreat towards Miyuki, however.
One day, Miyuki lay beaten and shattered on her couch, her sister stirring to go out. She didn’t want to leave her big sister alone or to go out without her but Miyuki insisted that she go have fun on her own for once with her friends. Reluctantly, she edged out the door, thinking about how, for the first time, she was going to chill alone, with no big sister there looking over her and making sure she was okay. She wandered down her usual route, through some trees and out into the outskirts of her village where she stared up at the grey sky, droplets of rain gently tapping against her face as they plummeted from the clouds.
Unfortunately…
She wasn’t left to stare in peace for long. A band of thieves, snickering to themselves as they saw her, pranced over to her and surrounded her before she could even get away. All they wanted was to take her money, yet they intimidated her even more, showing weapons and trying to look down on her to make sure she wouldn’t just run away and tell someone. During this, Miyuki had a growing worry within her, simply due to the fact it was her sister’s first time out alone, so it was natural for her to be uneasy. She hobbled up onto her feet, stumbling towards the door before gaining her balance properly and heading out to where she knew her sister would be, the rain thudding down on the roof of her house. Unease turned into distress as she began jogging, just about staggering around because of how weak she was but she felt sick, almost, with apprehension.
And all her worries were accurate. Miyuki slowed to a stop, unable to yank her eyes away from the group surrounding her sister. One letter ran out of her mouth but she found herself too weak to shout. A second letter followed but again, nothing. A step at a time took what felt like an eternity. Each stride drew her closer and closer but also pulled her further back at the same time. Miyuki had failed to keep her promise to her little sister, her oath was fruitless. She clenched her fist as tight as the could, forced her feet to move. Her sister, however, attempted an escape of her own. She pushed the biggest looking thief back and aimed to get out through the gap that would be created, yet the thief didn’t take this kindly and pushed her back into place, failing to recall the small, edged blade he was holding in his hand. It pierced her side causing the young girl to collapse onto her knees. A weak look of anger and pain shot through her face, as her hand clasped her side and she called out in pain. Miyuki’s face dropped dead, her feet no longer carried her forward. She hit a standstill. A shiver shot through her body, her knees began to quiver and she felt a darkness overcome her. Miyuki let out a bloodcurdling roar, screaming for her sister as loud as she could, burning her throat in doing so. As if something had began controlling her body for her, she involuntarily began sprinting towards the group, her fist gripped so tight that her nails began to dig deep into her skin. Miyuki did not hesitate in bringing her fist up to meet the face of the thief that stood between her and the now injured girl. Stumbling back, the thief felt the blood gently tickle down his face from his nose. Unhappy with this, he grabbed Miyuki by the arm and tossed her onto the ground. Without hesitation, the others joined in and battered the older sister. Miyuki, deep down, didn’t care about anything right now. She just wanted to hold her sister, to cradle her, protect her and envelop her in warmth.
Stunned and knocked senseless, Miyuki let a single tear roll down her face, hit the hard ground and seep into the soil as her eyes began to fade. Her sister wasn’t getting any better, either. The blood leached out of her body in a cascade of beautiful red.
Each second that passed, both drew closer to passing out but Miyuki felt the pain cease suddenly. The thieves halted, backing off from Miyuki. They glared in the opposite direction of where she now was, on edge. As if they were scared of something but she couldn’t get a glimpse of what it was. A boy had appeared from beyond the road, probably trying to get somewhere else, but had came across Miyuki on his way. He was a hooded figure with charcoal black hair and his eyes were like something out of hell itself, empty and soulless. Underneath, he seemed to be wearing a white shirt which created a disparity in his appearance. From this new arrival’s perspective two girls lay on the ground, one bent over and on her knees, blood spewing, eyes heavy and the other lay on the ground, beaten, crying and bloodied up. Beside them, was the gang that had done it all. They were just a simple band of thieves that took things too far. The boy stood there for a few seconds, likely trying to grasp an understanding of what had possibly happened here. Quickly, a look of disgust and confusion grew on his face, a look akin to that of anger. The biggest thief, clutching the same small blade he had hurt Miyuki’s sister with, panicked and tried to threaten the boy with it. The boy didn’t appreciate the gesture.
The boy fought the thieves off single-handedly, not allowing them to hurt the girls any further. He beat each one and made them run for their lives, knowing just how much they had hurt the two girls. When all the the thieves had been beaten the boy looked back at the girls in anguish. Slowly, he walked over but kept his distance, still, not saying anything, watching the two girls talk to each other.
Miyuki had painfully and slowly dragged herself towards her sister during the fighting. She clambered up onto her knees, grabbing her sister with both her hands, holding her head and gently stroking her hair. Miyuki let the tears drip onto her sister’s face as a brave smile appeared on the younger sister’s face. She pleaded to her sister not to give in, promised her it would be okay, said that she would get the best doctor in the village to help her and that everything would be okay but her sister stopped her.
“Miyu… it’s alright. You’ve given me everything a girl could want from her older sister… You’ve protected me, taught me things, embraced me in your warmth my entire life…”
She stopped, coughing blood, each word scorching her body and throat a little more than the last. “Big sis… I’ve always admired how awesome you are. You were never afraid of anything and made me feel safe no matter what.” Coughing once more, she paused. “So don’t be afraid now. I’ll always be in your heart, looking over you. So, don’t ever forget about me…” Her little sister lifted her hand up to her sister’s face, groaning in pain. She knew it hurt but she wanted to feel her sister’s soft cheeks once more. Despite all the pain she felt, she smiled through it and looked right into Miyuki’s eyes “I love you, sis…” her sky-blue eyes looking as beautiful as ever gently began to shut, her hand fell from Miyuki’s face and landed by her side, motionless. She was now gone. Miyuki held her there in her arms and weeped. She felt the greatest pain she had ever experienced but she also felt a great hatred growing within. Thinking about the thieves that had previously been here, she felt like her blood was turning to flames inside her veins. A fury grew within her as she sobbed over her dead sister’s body, calling her name as loud as she could with all the energy she had left.
Something dark began to happen, however. Miyuki, not realizing it, had awakened something within her that she never knew lay dormant. Her eyes, a charming golden colour, grew darker, deeper. A hatred grew within her very eyes themselves. Golden turned to black, black turned to dark red and dark red turned to the colour of blood. The blood of the Uchiha flowed through her veins, dormant up until now. She was too angry and in pain to realize it at the time but the boy had a very clear view of it. Although, at this point, the girl grew beyond exhausted. Her body was no longer hydrated enough to allow her to cry anymore, her body was so frail and weak she couldn’t move, just trying to keep her eyes open was a challenge. It only took a few minutes for her to eventually pass out.
The boy picked her sister up first, slowly carrying her to the forest and laying her down in some flowers, as he could not carry both back to the village. He then proceeded to pick Miyuki up and cart her back to the village. Not knowing which house she lived in, he began to shout for help, asking for Miyuki’s parents and within half a minute, her parents darted out to see what happened. Thanking the boy for carrying her here, they offered to let him come to their house to make sure she was okay. They placed her down on her bed and glanced back at the boy, her mother and father noticing the Uchiha crest upon his back, making them feel trepidation, but they didn’t comment on it, as he had saved their daughter. Which brought about a question for the boy. Where was the younger sister? He tried to explain without upsetting them too much but no matter how he worded it, it brought great distraught to the parents. Miyuki’s mother couldn’t do anything but drown in sorrow at the thought of her sweet little child dead but her father sought out the body and prepared it for a proper funeral.
Miyuki awoke, slowly opening her eyes. The blood red began to fade away and turn back into the beautiful golden colour she previously had, though, she remained slightly unaware of what it was. Her parents, however, didn’t ignore what they thought they saw. Her father’s dark secret was that he had the blood of the uchiha but he wanted to avoid ever telling his family because his mother despised the uchiha family but he didn’t think it would be a problem as long as he stopped Miyuki from ever going out on her own, that’s why he abused and battered her but he knew by the fact she obtained it that she was far stronger than he had imagined but this was very, very bad news for the family. Her mother, on the other hand, stood mortified by what she had just seen. Her own daughter an uchiha? She refused to accept it, looking over at her husband. With a tear in her eye, a quaky voice and a trembling lip she spoke to both “I refuse to live under the same roof as an uchiha, period.” she paused to look over at her daughter one last time “I want you out by the time I’m back.” and then left the house, walking off into the distance, tears tiptoeing their way down her face. Her husband simply turned his back and let said no words, as he couldn’t argue. A man who abused his own daughter has no say in her life, that’s what he believed.
Miyuki arose out of bed, ran out of the house and made her way towards the river, heartbroken beyond words. She lost both her parents and sister. It was a vicious sequence of events that broke everything down slowly, slowly crushing Miyuki’s spirit. This wave of darkness, pain and hurt washed over her and she began to feel feel hatred not for her parents, not for the thieves but for herself. She hit herself in the stomach and cried out ‘Uchiha scum!” before hitting herself again. The now severely exhausted and emotionally broken Miyuki lay at the edge of the river, barely conscious once again but this time instead of fighting to stay awake, she let herself slip into the darkness. She wanted to let go and just forget everything.
When she finally came to, it was night time already, meaning she could no longer return home. Forgetting what had happened, she went to stand up and felt a painful burning sensation in her stomach, remembering that she had struck herself. With slightly more will to live now, she refused to just cry about it but she still remained splintered emotionally. The boy who had rescued her previously had seen her little outbreak on herself earlier and stayed to guard her, making sure no one tried to hurt her during the time she was asleep. He thought about how she now had nowhere to stay at this point and after what he witnessed, he couldn’t just leave her alone. Someone needed to be watching over her so he invited Miyuki to come stay with him.
“It’s obvious you have Uchiha blood in your veins. That’s a good enough reason for you to come with me and join the Uchiha clan, I’ll introduce you myself. The Uchiha clan provides shelter and necessities. If anything, you can stay at mine. We have a spare room as my brother doesn’t come home often. You’ll be taken care of.”
She still wasn’t fully able to grasp how she was an Uchiha or why her mother hated them and kicked her out but after everything she had been through, Miyuki simply didn’t have the energy to continue crying about it.
She followed the boy to her new home, looking back at her house as it slowly faded from view. This was a lot to take in and it all happened so fast that she’d need a lot of rest. She had so many questions going through her head. Why did her mother kick her out so suddenly and not let her adjust to the fact her sister was dead? Why did her mother hate Uchihas? Why did her father not stop her mother from kicking her out? And why did this all happen so suddenly? It made no sense to her but maybe that was for the best, as the truth would have been the final trigger that broke her heart completely.
And the dark truth… was that her mother believed she was to blame for the death of her little sister. Miyuki would have no way of ever finding out why her mother hates Uchihas but she can know that it was the reason she lost her family and that’s a fact that will haunt her for the rest of her life.
