Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

From a young age the Nara had been placed on numerous missions, ranging from simplistic such as retrieving objects to the more advance arts of slaying in the name of the village. From the quaint age of twelve, upon his initial ANBU examination, that to attack recklessly was not for him as his first major injury were received during this time. His favorite hobby, books, more specifically bookcases had been loaded with kunai and upon a single tugging on a spine scattered blazing steel upon his flesh.

Traps had become a valuable lesson and while some may deem this a non-sufficient method of defending or being offensive, Sho would always strike first even if unseen; becoming an initiator.[/fontsize][/spoilername]

Chakra manipulation, this was the stereotype associated with every single shinobi and kunoichi; either you were able to or you were not. Those who were not able to display such control held a difficult life, many never reaching the ambition of protecting with mere weaponry and fists, those who were capable had an equally difficult road. Through his natural talents, the Nara had to learn to expend chakra at much larger volumes, exploiting ones shadows as a means to tunnel ninjutsu was quite the daunting task after all.

Each day as a child, his closest friend acted as nothing more than a shadow, allowing Sho to cast technique after technique. In the beginning it was far from beautiful, nothing flashy, and most of all quite noisy. Fortunately enough as time graced each individual; he was able to silence those around him. To cast through the shadows required far more control than a regular technique and when said and done, those cast as per normal were quite simple.[/fontsize][/spoilername]

Bending of light, casting a shadow on the brightest of days was the bread and butter for a Nara. Those unable to concentrate and defeat the overbearing Mother Nature were not welcomed in a clan of darkness. Fortunately enough for Sho, he spent a grand portion of his days reading within the loudest noises of Kirigakure as there was no such thing as a silent golden moment. To be able to deal with academy students leaping about, frolicking with flailing arms was enough to derail any moment of solace.

From the very moment he left the village on his first mission, the world was calm; there truly was no rival towards the misty lands.[/fontsize][/spoilername]

Having a higher awareness hadn’t always been a strong suite of the Nara’s, but from the moment his Rinnegan that all had changed. Going from a single view point to several ironically enough would be the single item to awaken such a sensation. It had taken numerous months to get used to such a viewpoint and to describe the hellacious storm of vision seemed impossible, no words would ever do.

Kazamatsuri Sho never truly acquired a true sixth sense, but he did however gain something more valuable; a body that never slept. One pair of eyes that would watch the world of darkness and in battle one covering every angle. The Nara did not require a higher sense when his eyes could see all.[/fontsize][/spoilername]

Each day brought forth a plethora of new possibilities and from the moment the Nara’s sky blue Rinnegan awakened, the world deemed itself to hold no amount of limitations he could not overcome. Hand in hand, his split forms allowed the realm of imagination to emerge full-fledged.

Each day brought forth a new day of promise, his techniques beginning to spiral and twirl with one another; being able to use the hand of another allowed odd mixtures. In the beginning this nothing more than two techniques brute forcing into an opponent, but within later days this equating to that of a brand new power. With his eyes, he could use his others to create whatever he pleased.[/fontsize][/spoilername]

Sho would never verbally call himself intelligent aloud, though within his mind the thought would always be upon the surface. Not many from the Nara clan were slumps and those were didn’t last long in the world for only the brightest thrived. Only those with any sort of intelligence were able to pierce through the lies this realm had dangling in front of the weak. Fortunately the young man had extra pairs of eyes to view the disillusions, allowing him to slice a hand through the air as if butter to cast aside all shadow of doubts.

With these eyes he would search for the truth he long lost and no illusions would ever cause him to suffer once again.[/fontsize][/spoilername]

Darkness, a key element in which all ANBU and more specifically Nara’s had to familiarize themselves with. To utilize the darkness meant to cloak oneself within a realm that was untraceable, not even the most trained shinobi or kunoichi in theory should be able to locate. With years of pain staking construction and countless amounts of reading upon the subjects, he had begun to train himself within the arts as a young teen.

Initially the recruits, Sho, had to partake in nocturnal missions to emphasize the importance of darkness. In due time these skills were taken from the nightly, transferred towards those of dusk based missions and ultimately that of those in brightest of the sun’s rays.[/fontsize][/spoilername]

Distractions – any event, item, and the wildest possibilities limited only by ones imagination. To sneak in the shadows was never a guarantee and to further aid in the objective of snaking through the brushes was becoming far more difficult as time continued to expand towards an infinite horizon.

Initially the Nara theory crafted the use of: smoke bombs flailing about and spiraling downwards, kunai and senbon piercing the skies due to ninja wire, and even that of flash grenades pulsating upon different time sequences. While this was an excellent start towards the proper direction, at times one required something far more intimidating; what better than that of the creatures from within the confines of an absolute void? From this he began to utilize techniques to bring forth a series of chakra based creatures which could aid his assaults or even to aid in his defenses.[/fontsize][/spoilername]

Felines, their hairs littered many a fine article of clothing and often left the shadow wielding shinobi quite annoyed. With each passing day the bond between his new kin and himself grow stronger, their bond becoming less of a hassle and far more a mutual benefit to both parties. To further boot, his acceptance not only grew towards the overall hierarchy of the pride, but further encounters with the lower tiers become oddly frequent.

To state the toll of summoning was non-existent was absolutely laughable and much to his dismay their summoning was not due to his willingness. Each new dawn brought forth a pair to tag along with the Nara during his travels, causing his chakra to waver greatly for the sole goal of sustaining more than a single at any given moment for a multitude of reasons. Even to this day, these antics are quite troublesome.[/fontsize][/spoilername]

The combination of flame and air was certainly an oddity to the male; wind being his most prominent element, but the mere thought of conjoining the pair was nearly disgraceful. On one end of the spectrum was elegancy and the other full of wrath – anguish.

Gingerly the respective elements would be formed into the arts of spheres, one raging about as if having a childish tantrum; while the other would hover silently, and cool to the touch. It seemed that even Mother Nature knew of his general preference and this was to become a trail an error.

Without further ado, the Nara would carefully begin to bring the two spheres together; unfortunately each took on the properties of a magnet – refusing to shorten the distance between the two. Once more further attempt would be made, the result remaining a steady consistent and resulting in a mere slate stare from Sho. “I suppose harmony between the two is not something I can manage.” a pause, “At least for now.” he comments.

In sight of his failure, he would nonchalantly toss the sphere forward against the tree lining, the orb of flames surely wouldn’t cause any sort of blaze – in the event it would he would douse the flames. Following behind would be another mere fling of the wrist, the orb of air trailing behind a safe distance. In the moment his luck would turn, the flames would stick against an ironically placed pebble, sticking against it. The opposing sphere would hover briefly before the other, the two coming together and boomeranging back towards him with the pebble in hot pursuit.

A thud would resonate within the palm of his hand, the pebble stinging against the flesh, momentarily. The wind had boomeranged back towards him, the flames causing a magnet between the pebble and in turn the other sphere; apparently initially he had been holding the spheres in the wrong hands. Go figure.

Just so you know, they changed the weapon disarm mod, but I am unsure if that item works with the new weapon damage model. All approved.

Gently would the palms of his hands rotate upwards to greet the zephyrs wafting across the skies above, in an attempt to extend the chakra within his system outwards.

A faint ember would crackle into existence, full of warmth; however not enough to cause harm to the flesh. Within his opposite would an equal in size orb of liquid shimmer against the rays of sunlight above. Nonchalantly would the pair streak towards each other, hands coming into a clasp to nurture the elements within the confines known as safety.

Sizzle . . . .

Upon further inspection would the lad part his palms to find himself releasing a faint sigh, an expected result, as water and flame generally negated one another. Chakra generally frictions together in a mystery way, though he was still fixated upon the idea of performing such a feat prior.

Never one to stutter about, Sho would then venture into the realm of trial and error. Within his left would the ember becoming far larger than previously and the orb of liquid remaining the same diameter. Surely a phenomenon would occur?

Sizzle . .

A far quieter sound as the flames would manage to survive the onslaught and roar into life yet again, standing alone. “Mm.. peculiar.” he murmurs to no one in particular. It didn’t quite take an advanced intellect to fathom that an opposite could produce a different result in its entirety.

One final trial, a faint ember and a larger sphere of chemical compound flickering against the light would subject itself to the darkness his clasp ushered forth.

Siiiiiiiiiiizle . . .

A faint steam would arise, dissipating a few feet above the male. “Further investigation is required.” he concludes, his hands certainly felt a bit charred and left him unable to identify which part of the trial left him in such a state.

In retrospect, a bit closer to steam.[/spoilername]

  • In light of the Called Shot Weapon change, I am changing the Chain Link augment above to Trick Weapon upon both.
    • I am deciding which to declare still, merely updating.
