Name: Kazuo Takumi
Gender: Male
Age: 10
Appearance: Takumi has white hair, tan skin, and brown eyes.
Personality: The best moment of Takumi's life was the moment that he decided to become a shinobi. Takumi is extremely energetic and very social. His favorite hobby is initiative, and his second favorite hobby is training to meet that initiative. He has a strong sense of duty with an obsessive work-ethic, and he jumps at every opportunity to prove himself and become involved. He is very rarely seen being discouraged, even when he fails to live up to his own impossible standards. Due to his impulsive nature, he often fails to come off as intelligent as he actually is, giving off-hand responses which aren't representative of his infinitely more insightful opinion. Takumi appears to value intelligence to such a small extent that he will often ridicule it when he sees it, and hypocritically out-smart the culprit into admitting his own stupidity. In truth, however, this is merely a front to maintain a decent social image. His intelligence is what makes him effective as a shinobi, and it is therefore indespincible to him as a tool for realizing his dreams.
Almost symbolic to his capacity for mental clarity, Takumi possesses an acute eyesight which nearly pierces both immeasurable distance and imperceptible detail. As a catalyst to this ability, his interest and capacity for deductive logic was greatly improved as well. He makes it his past-time to work out both cause and effect of every detail which falls upon his energetic attention, and correctly anticipates the outcome of most of the events which surround him. This is one of the primary tools with which he engages during each of his assignments, though again he is extremely cautious not to share these observations (unless it is necessary). Steering his image away from being a brainy know-it-all is always of constant concern, and he will do anything to make a new friend (or keep the ones that he has). Coupled with this ability is a strong capacity for taijutsu, and an even stronger capacity for ranged taijutsu. Nothing is more direct to his training than practicing with shuriken and kunai, improving his accuracy, and learning to anticipate close-ranged attacks. It is noted that during the duration of the first part of his life, Takumi had developed a theory that he had been adopted from the Uchiha clan. He was embarrassed to learn, after much energetic investigation, that he was merely blessed with an abnormal capacity for visual prowess.
Takumi, while embarrassed by his intelligence, would always score high marks in his academic settings. It is obvious to everyone who knows him that he is an obsessive perfectionist. He is usually the last one to finish every test, and always runs out of space in which to write his answers. He has often lied about his perfect scores just to fit in with his friends. However, whenever he is truly engaged, he is often forced to take the initiative of his insights and apply them to effectively carrying out any assignment. He has a strong sense of loyalty, and would never turn away from a person in need. His dream is to become the most prolific shinobi of the village (with little regard toward actually becoming the Hokage), and solve every problem which happens to fall upon his path.
History: Takumi was born in the leaf village to a loving and caring family. His mother was very protective of him, but his father quickly recognized his capacity for hand-to-hand combat and urged his wife to consider enrollment in the ninja academy. Takumi had always been insightful, so eventually he caught wind of these discussions and launched his very own investigation as to the career of being a shinobi. He would often sneak out of the house and visit the ninja academy, admiring the students who were out practicing in the fields. Soon, he began to imitate their training sessions in his own way, and quickly discovered for himself his own capacities for becoming a shinobi. It didn't take long for him to decide to dedicate his life to utilizing his skills to protecting others, and impressing others with his abilities. One day, he announced to his parents that he had enrolled himself into the academy.
It was around this time that he was introduced to the Uchiha clan. He had made a few friends who spoke of the amazing "sharingan", which allowed for a visual prowess so vast that one could anticipate an event before it had even happened. It wasn't long before Takumi began to notice parallels between the mysterious "sharingan" and his own visual abilities. He could already see through extremely large distances, and he had even begun anticipating certain events based upon the details of his surroundings. For instance, he never failed to predict when it would rain, and he could even anticipate the flight path of a bird based upon the direction and force of the wind. He came to rely solely upon his eyes and his abilities as a deductionist to help with his training, academics, and even his social life. Therefore, the fact that he had begun to show early signs of possessing the fabled sharingan could not have escaped his notice. He began the second major investigation of his life when he began to refer to himself with the clan name "Uchiha". He made no attempt to hide his theories from his parents, having convinced himself that they were just as aware of the conspiracy as he was. He made frequent trips to the clan district in order to gather more information and ascertain the true identity of his parents. He made it clear within the classroom that he should be called by his "real name" Uchiha Takumi. He referred to his parents as "symbiotes" who wished to capitalize upon the power of the Uchiha to give their own name fame. His parents wrote it off as a simple phase, and did not discourage his behavior.
Finally, after having come to a complete and satisfied resolution of his theory, Takumi made himself a constant presence in the clan district. It wasn't long before a clansman noticed and began passively questioning him. After Takumi's explanation, the man caught his throat in a fit of laughter. He explained that, not only does the sharingan lack any presentation of its being activated, but it also doesn't work in the way Takumi's visual prowess had presented itself. Takumi himself gave a chuckle, comletely unsure of what to think. Still amused, he escorted the boy home and assured him that he had NOT once belonged to the Uchiha clan, and such a thing would be unheard of.
To say the least, Takumi was embarrassed... But he was also relieved.
