Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Re: Kazuo Takumi's FAQ

[fontsize="12"]There have been some slight changes. The rank I had before was outdated. My character currently has OOC Rank: A.

My Class name is White Ranger (why not :p.)

I have also arranged my Core Ability choices (I arranged them before but they got lost somewhere down the line):

3 - Vital Strike
3 - Composite
2 - Precise Strike
2 - Sure Shot
3 - Keen Sight
3 - Bounce Shot
2 - Sniper
2 - See The Wind (Rank 2)

3+3+2+2+3+3+2+2 = 20.

Planning on a Kinjutsu later.

Still no Cursed Seals.

My abilities are as such:

1. Deadeye
2. Tracker
3. Projectile Aim
4. Insight
5. Called Shot
6. Clarity
7. Weapon Mastery - Ranged
8. Weapon Mastery - Projectile
9. Jutsu Mastery
10. Sixth Sense

My major affinity is Wind. My minor affinity is Earth. And I am applying for the advanced affinity Dust with this post: [A Leaf in the Desert?].

My weapons are as such:

1. Summoning Scroll (L)
i. Takumi's Bow
ii. Seven-Wind Blade Shuriken
iii. None
2. Takumi's Shuriken
3. Takumi's Reflective Kunai
4. Elemental Seal Inscription
5. None.

Let me know if I need to reapply for the weapons. I think their descriptions are in leaf or something...[/fontsize]

Re: Kazuo Takumi's FAQ

You have to post Roleplays for the abilities mate

The weapons need the required information found in the Ultimate Battle Rules Compilation. Go to the Weapon Creation Rules and such...

Would post a link but I'm working from my phone atm

Re: Kazuo Takumi's FAQ

The abilities are inherited from my free OCR from Leaf. I posted roleplays for them when I first received them. I don't have to reapply for them do I?

Re: Kazuo Takumi's FAQ

[fontsize="11"]Here are my weapon descriptions.

Takumi's Bow
Weapon Type: Bow
Weapon Damage Type: Ranged
Bonuses: +1 Accuracy -5% Damage
Augments: Assault, Explosive Tag, Blitz

Takumi's standard bow. As a child, he was always interested in how far he could see ahead of himself. With this in mind, he fashioned himself a bow which could launch an arrow as far as he could see. Using his bow, he has trained day and night to master the maneuvers and tactics that could be implemented with such a weapon. His bond with bows is strong, and may someday become the catalyst for his most ultimate development.

Seven-Wind Blade Shuriken
Weapon Type: Large Shuriken
Weapon Damage Type: Piercing
Bonuses: +10% Damage -2 Accuracy
Augments: Hidden Flail, Overpowering, Unloving

A large shuriken that is fitted with more blades than most. It is designed in such a way that it reacts fluently to any change in the wind--changes which Takumi can either facilitate or predict. The four main blades protrude from the center, and there are three secondary blades which appear once they hit their mark, causing extra piercing damage. The large shuriken is able to be folded like any demon-wind blade shuriken.

Takumi's Shuriken
Weapon Type: Shuriken
Weapon Damage Type: Piercing
Bonuses: +2 Accuracy -10% Damage
Augments: Tracer, Wide Edge, Amplify

Special Shuriken that Takumi re-forged to increase accuracy. Takumi likes to modify his shuriken in such a way that, instead of causing damage, they simply need to hit their mark in order to serve their purpose. This often involves inflicting some form of poison upon his enemies, usually with the intention of slowing them down. By casting these shuriken forth in large quantities, he ensures that his victims feel the full brunt of the poison.

Takumi's Reflective Kunai
Weapon Type: Kunai
Weapon Damage Type: Piercing
Bonuses: +2 Accuracy -10% Damage
Augments: Lantern, Tracer, Explosion Tag

Takumi's reflective kunai was created with the intention of blinding his enemies with the refracting glare of the sun (or another source of light). He also uses the kunai to get a better glimpse of figures in the shadows, so that his acute eyesight (and extremely effective peripheral) can quickly pinpoint enemy positions and anticipate their next movements.

Elemental Seal Inscription
Weapon Type: Inscription
Weapon Damage Type: Unarmed
Bonuses: N/A
Augments: Ignition, Special Composition: Ninjutsu (Wind), Special Composition: Ninjutsu (Earth)

The Elemental Seal Inscription is a seal that Takumi devised to store a certain amount of elemental chakra. He wears two seals on the back of his hands, and uses their power to increase the effectiveness of his ninjutsu-based attacks. They become active when he draws on the power from one of his two basic affinities, Wind or Earth.[/fontsize]

Re: Kazuo Takumi's FAQ

Yes I believe you do still have to RP for them. This is technically a different character. You may ask admin on this matter but I'm quite sure that you have to RP them.

Re: Kazuo Takumi's FAQ

I was referring to what it says in this thread: http://www.ninpocho.com/viewtopic.php?f=98&t=14118. Specifically this statement: "◦For Further Clarification: All build mechanics are transferable to the new character, free of need to reapply for them." Though maybe I'm misinterpreting?

Re: Kazuo Takumi's FAQ

That was for the free Transfer to Stone. You chose to come to Suna but maybe admin will extend to you as well. Just ask them, but on my end from what I can see I still need you to RP. Maybe you can get your old RPs and use them but edit the data to make it fit with the current Takumi

Re: Kazuo Takumi's FAQ

[fontsize="11"]Here are the RPs for the abilities:
Dead Eye said:
Kazuo Takumi was born with an unusual capacity for clarity and clear long ranged vision. He has an eye for detail, and often uses it to deduce many useful facts about his surroundings. He is widely credited as being able to make wild and accurate predictions from an almost imperceptible detail. This has also awarded him the ability to make precise shots and predict the trajectory of his projectiles from the slightest balance of the wind. He has adapted this ability to blend perfectly with his capacity for taijutsu, making him a formidable foe both up close and from afar.

Tracker said:
Takumi has an eye for detail. He has the innate ability to pick up on the smallest anomoly, and energetically trace it back to both its cause and its future effect. He has honed his skills for deductive logic and tracking by wandering the forests and hunting the most evasive animals. Takumi also has a photographic memory, so when a detail has been changed he is usually the first one to notice and trace the effect back to the perpetrator. As a result, Takumi is an effective tracker and can utilize his skills in any environment, energetically memorizing details, monitoring alterations, and remaining entirely aware of his surroundings with his clarity as a Hawkeye and deductionist.

Projectile Aim said:
Kazuo Takumi is a Hawkeye. He has honed and mastered his abilities with projectile weapons, and almost never misses a mark. Realizing his gifts, he has also adopted a fondness of ranged weapons such as bows and large shurikens. With these and a mastery of skillful mannuevering, Takumi is capable of taking out a huge multitude of enemies without ever having to spend chakra. Takumi's taijutsu revolves almost entirely upon his ability as a hawkeye, and he strives to maintain a specific mid to long range distance between his opponents whenever the opportunity is present. Projectiles such as shuriken, kunai, and other special weapons dominate his kid range battle, while his assortment of bows and use of ninjutsu conquers his long range battle.

Insight said:
Though Takumi would hate to admit it, he was born as a prodigy of strategy, deduction, clarity, and insight. This is well represented by his nature as a Hawkeye, given that his acute line of vision is capable of piercing large distances and catching tiny details without his ever having to strain. Takumi has an energetic sense of attention and his intelligence is rarely rivaled, therefore the ability to detect enemy traps and ambushes is an inherent and ever-present quality. On the day that Takumi acknowledged his abilities as a Hawkeye, his father had left him in a forest to find himself. He subsequently discovered, through meditating upon the mere memory of his experiences, that he was being hunted by a creature with an advanced stalking capacity. He did this by identifying subtle differences in the terrain and deducing ithe stalker's presence through the intricate and subtle collaboration of each abnormal detail. This was probably the first and most distinct evidence of Takumi's capacity for insight.

Called Shot said:
Kazuo Takumi is a Hawkeye. Since birth he has had the abnormal ability to perceive intricate detail across vast distances. This has enabled him to develop a special kind of taijutsu which involves mid-to-long range combat and his extremely reliable accuracy with projectile weapons. Realizing his abilities, Takumi was quick to further develop these abilities by learning each of the most important targets on the human body, and training himself to identify these targets with his visual prowess, and hit them with his extraordinary accuracy. This style of fighting was a perfect match for Takumi, given his personal obsession with detail oriented combat and deduction. With the maturity of his ranged battle, the addition of his visual prowess, and the combination of his detail-oriented frame of mind, called shots have become more of a certainty rather than a probability.

Clarity said:
Similar to his visual clarity as a Hawkeye, Takumi possesses an acute mental clarity which can identify the smallest detail and retain a vast amount of information. Takumi has been blessed with a photographic memory, probably as an indirect result of his abilities as a Hawkeye. Therefore, with the collaboration of both memory and deduction, it is a difficult task to fool Takumi with the false vision of an otherwise faulty reality. In addition to these traits, Takumi possesses a naturally energetic sense of attention. He is always recording details and locking them away, even if they become trapped within the depths of his subconscious. With a bit of meditation, Takumi can recreate a scene almost exactly as he'd originally seen it, and identify details from his subconscious which he may have missed before. As a result, genjutsu, which inevitably alters Takumi's sense of perception, will always give him a feeling that something is a bit off.

Weapon Mastery - Ranged said:
When Takumi discovered that he was a Hawkeye, he immediately began to take his shuriken training to the next level. He became a deadeye shot over a short period of time, and soon began to investigate the power of long-ranged taijutsu. Takumi built his very first bow with the intention of capitalizing upon his innate accuracy and visual prowess. He soon found himself hitting targets across unbelievable distances, and developing an advanced capacity for ranged weaponry. Takumi now keeps several bows with him of his own designed, each constructed with specific purpose and resolute craftsmanship. The art of crafting bows awarded him an intimate knowledge of bowmanship and technique. Before long, Takumi had clearly become a master of his new obsession.

Weapon Mastery - Projectiles said:
Kazuo Takumi mastered projectile use very early in his training. He was already a prodigy, and was always very quick to pick up on the details of any basic technique. He is also a very talented hawkeye, therefore projectile training came to him naturally. He could easily hit a large range of targets with perfect precision, and even pinpoint the trajectory of his projectiles given the inclusion of various external circumstances, such as wind or collision. His training with projectiles is what led to his clear abilities in ranged taijutsu. Though, Takumi has taken to such a high level that, beyond just relying on projectiles such as shuriken or kunai for basic attacks, he is able to target specific areas with great precision to maximize the damaging effect of these weapons and techniques. He rarely relies upon any attack with a projectile with a singular purpose in mind, and often includes an ulterior motive for every given action.

Jutsu Mastery said:
Beyond just his mastery in taijutau, Takumi shares his mastery with nearly all of the arts. He has studied jutsu intensively, and discovered his own chakra alignment at a very early age. From then on his the bulk of his energy was spent on training and mastering his manipulation of wind jutsu, hand seals, and everything else having to do with his alignment. Takumi can be very obsessive, and in his burning desire to discover himself, he devoted all of his time into discovering and mastering jutsu. As an indirect result, Takumi had pushed himself far beyond the intended teachings of his father, and ultimately taught himself the advanced fundamentals of ninjutsu which are usually only shared to jounin or the like. With the use of sacred scrolls, intricate understanding, and piercing self-analysis, Takumi had become a master in his own right.

Sixth Sense said:
Kazuo Takumi is a Hawkeye. He has a clarity of mind which matches his clarity of vision, and can usually detect subtle details with extreme prejudice and precision. He also has a photographic memory. Therefore, whenever there is an alteration or an abnormality in his surrounding terrain, he is either consciously made aware of the change through observation, or his mind is put into a vague sense of uncertainty through its picture-perfect representation of what the scenery should look like. And while he cannot always detect the exact problem, the feeling is ever-present. As an example of this ability, Takumi was well known among his child-hood friends as having clairvoyant abilities. This idea was false. Instead, Takumi would merely predict something like the weather by subtle shifts he would observe in the behavior of animals or alignment of the clouds. However, in his fragile age, he himself was very rarely made aware of the methods that his subconscious had employed. As a result, any prediction of his would present itself as more of a gut feeling... a sixth sense.

Changing the weapon Takumi's bow... (Note: Ammunition is from the Weapon Mastery - Ranged Ability)

Takumi's Bow

Weapon Damage Type: Ranged
Bonuses: +1 Accuracy -5% Damage
Augments:
1. Assault
2. Quick Switch
Ammunition:
3. Anchor Boost
4. Binding

Re: Kazuo Takumi's FAQ

Hello? I still need my Character FAQ upgraded please. I need the OOC rank changed to A, the abilities added, the weapons added, the custom class name updated, the affinities added, and I applied for the advanced affinity Dust using the link above.

Re: Kazuo Takumi's FAQ

... Appoved.

Edit: Only problem is your weapons still need effects (Such as being able to do hand seals, bleeding, suppression) refer to the Weapon Creation Rules. Might I also suggest nabbing a free Shinobi 101 Ability, and A Branch Ability? They do not require roleplays and are free slots you're missing out on.
