Name: Takeda, Ken
Age: Thirteen
Physical Description:
Ken shares very few similarities with his twin brother, Katsumi. Outside of their height and rough weight and relatively pale skin, Ken looks rather distant in comparison to a majority of his family and his own twin. Pale amber eyes are met with platinum blonde hair, traits that are rarely seen within the Takeda family he hails from. Alongside that, Ken spends a large amount of his time dressing himself in odd, dual colored clothing in order to extend his identity even further from his family. Aside from the few key features, Ken is your average Thirteen Year Old outside of his height.
Mental Description:
Unlike his brother Katsumi, Ken is known for being a boy of little words. While he's far from rude, abhorrent or crazy, Ken's lack of effort in interacting and learning about others has plagued him for nearly his entire early childhood. Spending most of his time within the Library of Kumogakure, the boy's intelligence is rather remarkable for his age. Ken didn't sprout much like most believe he had, a majority of his strength and knowledge came from rigorous training done in the secret of his household. This doesn't take away from the kindness and respect the boy can show to those that both deserve it and demand it. Not being one for confrontation, Ken will quickly succumb and conform to the situation at hand, surely it's whats best for both him and others. Outside of Katsumi and his family, very few people know of his true nature. In the environment of a team and group activities, Ken makes delicate and rather simple changes to his attitude and demeanor in order to create a clean and productive situation for his fellow teammates or classmates. Changing who he appears to be on the outside is much like flipping a switch when it matters most for the boy, making his usual quiet and calm nature to be even more confusing to those that lack internal knowledge on the child. Aside from these odd quirks and changes, Ken is much like any brooding and confused child.
History:
Ken was born to a family of a single Shinobi parent. Unlike his brother, Katsumi, Ken had very little trouble in gaining the attention and respect from others. From the very beginning, Ken's aptitude to learn and adapt have placed him a step above his twin brother and those his age, something that happens relatively often in the Ninja World. Despite this odd superiority that others seemed the throw his way, Ken never felt that he was truly above anyone else. Much of his time growing up was spent rigorously training whenever he could, much like his younger brother and fellow kids. Keeping to himself whenever Katsumi escaped the house to only cause trouble for his fellow villagers, this allowed Ken to continue pushing himself forward above his family. Step after step, his time quickly became entirely enveloped in the saturation of Kumogakure's knowledge and basic techniques. Whatever he could learn would be taken it as quickly as possible, allowing for him to continue to grow as a future Shinobi and as a child in general.
While he started quite late in terms of being an academy student, Ken's entrance exams went as smoothly as one could imagine. For a boy who didn't interact with many, his wonderful scores and innate ability to control his Chakra. Soon after his own passing, his brother Katsumi quickly found himself entering himself into another set of exams only to find himself alongside Ken with little effort. Both boys, despite only having the single parent to guide them when younger, showed a form of aptitude and wish to better themselves that only few ninja expressed so young. Nevertheless, the normal narrative continued to unfold as they both continued to train. Ken was held to a bar that began to tear at his very being while his brother became the laughing stock of the academy. Of course, as with any story, the boy's seemed to progress without fail. Katsumi found himself in the shadow of his brother, allowing him to rocket forward in knowledge and experience. The Takeda brothers were stuck like glue, inseparable as far as the academy was concerned.
Currently, Ken is still training alongside his brother Katsumi, the two of them hoping that their experience within the academy and around others will force them onto yet another plane of strength.
