Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

  • Always seen in an ominous black hoodie consisting of two straps just around the neck which can be left open to reveal much of his facial features or locked, hiding his face in the shadows of his clothing. The jacket has a middle in which it can be opened or closed for ventilation purposes along with the said straps on top of it. Contains two pockets located within the jacket for storage.
  • Wears a dark shaded gray colored pants that contains a single strap located at the right leg, made to secure his treasured dagger.
  • His hair silver with streaks of gray to give a darker effect in shaded areas.
  • The Centipede Bracer is tied around his right arm.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

  • Cunning Strategist - Azu takes everything into consideration even to the slightest of detail, this alone allows him to formulate plans that people wouldn't suspect. As such, he always think of other methods of tackling a situation, providing alternatives if one plan were to fall.
  • Calm - Emotionless to the point of being a stoic in the midst of a fight, he doesn't show any signs of pain, excitement or even stress in battle. Considering them to be fatal weaknesses that an enemy can use for his or her advantage.
  • Loner - Straying away from crowded groups or locations, Azu finds peace and tranquility in solitary. Though he enjoy conversing with other people provided they are in a secluded area.
  • Botanist - Always in a search for rare or exotic flora wherever he goes, studying them to a great degree of matter in order to reproduce multiple quantities and use them for his own personal venom.

History

[spoilername="Agilao Tribe of the Katai Clan"]Born from the Village Hidden in Swamps, accustomed to the growing life of harsh and constricting air of the bubbling bogs compared to those who lived freely in fresh air. This alone has suited Azu's body to the most direst of condition, exhibiting slight immunity to venom that would otherwise be fatal for others, this immunity developed to the point where he can recover before death comes to fetch him, avoiding death in multiple occasions.

Though his life in the marshes were one to consider lucky, Azu himself didn't mind all of the dangers that posed to his life previously and for the future. Accepting everything life has to throw at him. On his 12th Birthday, he was given a decision to take up the task of Ascension - a pilgrimage to show their fierce devotion to their tribe as they journey into the foreign world, without a map or anything by that matter. Though not alone, he is tasked in protecting two elderly couple that served as Azu's spiritual mentors and a girl of his age, tasked to forever bond with Azu if ever he successfully accompanies them to a new area where they can start the tribe anew.

Through the Land of Fire, he left. Traversing the mysterious land that showed hospitality or otherwise hostility, with the latter forcing Azuto to take up arms in order to defend the trio that came with him. Through many hardships as he moved throughout the land, his own body and mind were pushed beyond his limits in order to find a suitable land for them to live in. Though the goal alone is unknown, only the elderly couples are capable of deciding if they have met their destination and the boy finishing his pilgrimage.

Struck with the decision of moving forward in order to find his supposed destination or considering the health of the elderly elders and the young girl, all with one's feet to guide them. No transportation by any means. Finally, his feet led him to an unknown land, the smell of salty ocean replacing his natural scent of the poisonous marshes. A familiar place to his home yet the environment was all new to him, he was so accustomed to the dangers of his home and so he can practically tell that there was little to no threat at all. The old couple nodded and stepped forward into the cold shallow waters.

There, the two elderly couple held their hands together and touched the trunk of a tree as it glowed an eerie light. The roots slowly surfaced as they twisted and turn, turning into bridges and walls - similar to that of his past home. The leaves gathered on top which served as a roof. There, the elderly couple presented Azu a dark wooden bracer, nothing unusual about it. After instructed on wearing it, which he fitted into his right arm. The wooden bracer started to chip and shed, showing itself to be a centipede carved in majestic wood. The elderly couple stated that the centipede served as his spiritual guardian and a manifestation of his will.

After which, the elderly couple started their teaching on the land that they have reached, the Land of Waters, as Azu and the young girl listened as to learn more of the foreign land of they have reached. Time passed, with Azu's guidance and movements, the group were presented the Village Hidden in the Mist as a new life for their tribe. Azu was once again presented to join the customs of the village in which case they abandon their tribe in favor of the foreign land or otherwise stick to their tradition, presenting little to no activity in the foreign land. Following the hardship he experienced through his travel, he choose another option - to respect the customs of the new land and continue living with their tradition. The elderly couple didn't rejected his idea and simply nodded. They were elders by that matter and soon invited others to join Azu's new home. Others would transverse to reach the Land of Waters while others would stay.

In the Land of Waters, a new story opens up for Azuto as he decide for the future of himself and his tribe.[/spoilername]

The Aburame are born with strange insects within their body and have created a mutualistic relationship between themselves and the kikai within them. Their most natural ability, this allows the Aburame to manipulate and control the swarms of Venomous parasites that live within their body and use it as a hive.

Rank 1: Allows the user to control a swarm of Kikai to defend themselves, blocking up to 200 points of damage each round.
Rank 2: Allows the user to control a swarm of Kikai to defend themselves, blocking up to 500 points of damage each round.
Rank 3: Allows the user to control a swarm of Kikai to defend themselves, blocking up to 750 points of damage each round.

Notes:
- The swarm of Kikai may protect the user for no cost, but may only protect the user once per round as they must regenerate before a new swarm is ready. This may be done reflexively.
Adaption said:
Adaption - Passive
The Kikai are a highly adaptable species of Parasite, living of the enviroment and it's creatures. Through generations, these insects have become highly adaptable to almost any situation whether it be a natural disaster such as a hurricane, or a spontaneously ensued battle between shinobi. Whichever the case, the kikai are highly adaptable and can shift the behavior throughout their swarms to counter almost any threat against themselves and the Aburame.

Rank 1: When a Kikai swarm blocks an attack, based on what type of attack it is, they give the user a +1 buff to the dodge of that type.
Rank 2: When a Kikai swarm blocks an attack, based on what type of attack it is, they give the user a +2 buff to the dodge of that type.
Rank3: When a Kikai swarm blocks an attack, based on what type of attack it is, they give the user a +3 buff to the dodge of that type.

Notes:
- This may only take effect once per attack type.
- Attack types mean "Slashing" Taijutsu or "Fire" Ninjutsu, etc.

The symbiosis between the Aburame and the Kikai is not completely without harm between the two, at first many Aburame fall ill to the poisonous kikai a they make a hive out of their body, though over time their parasite's venom becomes diluted within their immune system, keeping their resistance to all forms of venom in top shape. furthermore, these Kikai themselves actually fight off toxins within the Aburame's body, and add their own poison to their host's techniques.

Rank 1: Grants +1 Poison strength, and a +1 poison resistance

Kikai Bug Clone - Secret Clone Jutsu
One of the most basic techniques in the Aburame clan, this technique allows the user to create a perfect copy of themselves out of the very parasitic insects within them, manipulating them just as they can a normal swarm. However, these clones are composed of tiny insects, so they cannot take contact before dispersing into the air until further notice from the Aburame.

Rank 1: Allows the user to create a Bug Clone. Each clone can be used to protect the Aburame up to 200 damage each.
Rank 2: Allows the user to create 2 Bug Clones. Each clone can be used to protect the Aburame up to 250 damage each.
Rank 3: Allows the user to create 3 Bug Clones. Each clone can be used to protect the Aburame up to 300 damage each.

The Kikai are a rapid-breeding Insect that grow almost at a constant rate within the Aburame. However, With no Host to use as a Hive, these parasites cannot thrive in the normal environments. Due to this, these insects have no problem sacrificing themselves for their Host's and the Hive's well being, and are able to create a wall of hundreds of insects to protect the Aburame from nearly all types of techniques.

Rank 1: Creates a wall of insects that protects the user from up to 710 damage.
Rank 2: Creates a wall of insects that protects the user from up to 1670 damage.
Rank 3: Creates a wall of insects that protects the user from up to 2670 damage.

A simple technique of the Aburame Clan. The kikai are able to be dispersed by the Aburame into a large cloud that swarm an opponent, covering them with many parasitic insects. These Parasites eat away not only at the targets Life, but also feast upon the victim's chakra ever chance they get.

Rank 1: Releases a cloud of insects that bite and sting the target, dealing 760 damage to Hp and 380 to CP.
Rank 2: Releases a cloud of insects that bite and sting the target, dealing 1240 damage to Hp and 620 to CP.
Rank 3: Releases a cloud of insects that bite and sting the target, dealing 1485 damage to Hp and 740 to CP.

Poison Disperse - Kikai Toxin Jutsu
The Kikai's ability does not simply stop at eating away at chakra. Infact, the Kikai are also a highly Toxic Parasite that store chakra-infused toxins within each and every individual insect. Upon the Aburame's command, they are able to release this toxic gas upon a target, disorienting their sense of perception and dispelling their body's ability to store chakra. As the Aburame's Strength grows, so too does the Kikai's ability to produce stronger, and more lethal poisons, to the point where they automatically toxify an area upon being destroyed.

Rank 1: Releases a poison gas that causes an opponent to lose 500 CP a round. Additionally, they lose -1 accuracy and -1 dodge. Lasts for three rounds and is treated as a Weak Poison.
Rank 2: Releases a poison gas that causes an opponent to lose 630 CP a round. Additionally, they lose -2 accuracy and -1 dodge. Lasts for three rounds and is treated as a Strong Poison.

A powerful ability of the Aburame clan, unlike the majority of their techniques which allow them to stay at a range while their insects do their work, this ability requires the Aburame to move in for an up close confrontation. Within their insect infested bodies lie an even creepier secret; they are also hives for minuscule swarms of Nano-insects even smaller than their normal kikai. Normally hidden within their body, these special nano insects can be transferred through direct skin contact with the Aburame and "Infect" other organisms. Capable of even posing through clothing and armor, once touched, the victim experiences excruciating pain while these nano insects enter the point of infection, releasing their toxins directly into the body of the victim. The infected area appears darkened, and quickly spreads throughout the body.

Rank 1: The Aburame touches a limb of the target and injects them with Nano Kikai. Each round, this limb has a 30% chance to have it's called shot level increased for the remainder of the battle. Lasts two Rounds.
Rank 2: The Aburame touches a limb of the target and injects them with Nano Kikai. Each round, this limb has a 40% chance to have it's called shot level increased for the remainder of the battle.
Rank 3: The Aburame touches a limb of the target and injects them with Nano Kikai. Each round, this limb has a 50% chance to have it's called shot level increased for the remainder of the battle.

Kikai Infiltration - Chakra Parasite Jutsu
The kikai, being bugs that are able to feed off their hosts chakra, Naturally have the ability to do the same to their opponents. However, in battle when the Aburame requires their chakra to fight off the opponents, the kikai are less inclined to feed of their hosts, but rather, feed of their threats and and transfer the chakra of their victims to the Aburame much like bees do with flowers.

Rank 1: Steals 700 cp per round for 3 round.
Rank 2: Steals 880 cp per round for 3 rounds.
Rank 3: Steals 1060 cp per round for 3 rounds.

Cost: 3 AP to initiate, 0 Chakra.

Notes:
- Does not Stack upon a single target.
- Requires a Ninjutsu check each round.
- User gains Chakra equal to Half the damage done by this jutsu.

Ultimate Kikai Vortex - Parasitic Insect Tornado Ninjutsu
The ultimate technique known only to the most skilled and powerful in the Aburame Clan. This technique is performed by the Aburame using a large amount of kikai, allowing the Aburame to create a chakra vacuum that is able to suck the air out of a person. This tornado-like vacuum creates a disturbance that not only throws the opponent off, but also heavily destroys the chakra system of all those caught within, removing their chakra in mere moments.

Rank 1: Creates a tornado of kikai insects Reducing the Dodge and poison Resistance of all within by -1. All within get stung by kikai, and lose 1800 Chakra Each Round at +2 Accuracy.
Rank 2: Creates a tornado of kikai insects, Reducing the Dodge and poison Resistance of all within by -2. All within get stung by kikai, and lose 2020 Chakra Each Round at +2.5 Accuracy.

Shishi Doku
A set of four small hidden blades designed for smooth and silent attacks. Each blade has a small opening in the very tip of the blade, allowing poison to flow once it comes in contact with human flesh or blood. The first pair of hidden blades are modified braces strapped on his wrists, allowing him to quickly launch a piercing blows with every strike. The second pair of hidden blades are hidden with the soles of his shoes, located just beneath the heel and can be used in tandem with the first pair of hidden blades in order to unleash swift and deadly assault.

  • Passive Techniques
    • Silent Steps
      • A technique utilized by Azu in his time during his travel in order to avoid detection via sound of the footsteps. This technique actively releases varying soundwave with each step, effectively cancelling out the sound produced by another. Useful for scouting and assassination purposes.
    • Mad King's Act
      • A highly effective and wild technique that causes Azu to perform exreme feats of flexbility and acrobatics, ranging from cartwheels to somersaults at random while in fact, everything were properly planned before doing so, appearing as mere intricate acts to confuse the momen when each is simply setting up the perfect moment to strike.
    • Hollowed Walk
      • An assassination technique developed utilizing the Shishi Doku weaponry. Merely approaching his desired target, Azu unleashes a hidden blade and quickly impales a vital part, leaving them a few seconds to react before they .

  • Active Techniques
    • Haji Shinten - Ancestral Summoning
      • A jutsu that manifests Azuto's spiritual guardian, a nameless centipede to wrap around his arm. Simply controlled through verbal commands, Azuto is able to unleash his spirit forward in order to grab obstacles and propelling himself forward to reach higher elevation or safer areas. Haji Shinten can be used in reversed as well, grabbing objects or obstacles before dragging them back to Azuto. Despite the flexibility of the technique, his spiritual guardian disperses upon contact with any chakra, preventing the technique from grabbing any people who possesses chakra or objects embedded with chakra.
 
A G I L A O - T R I B E

  • The Agilao Tribe originating from the Land of Water before moving to various parts of the world, known to have existed in the Land of Wind, Land of Iron and Land of Fire. Though they live in various areas, the Agilao Tribe is still connected by means of the Ascension Ceremony. The Gathering Ritual is one of the forbidden rituals existing in the Agilao Tribe but upon completion, the tribesmen is entrusted as the leader of their respective Agilao Tribe. Naturally found living deep within marshes and bogs.
    • The Agilao Tribe specializes in the element of Poison, as every person born from the tribe are immediately embraced by the harsh environment around them, although there are those who are granted affinity outside their natural environment. As they grow, their capability and resistance with poisons improve. As such, most people of the Agilao Tribe are sought out by neighboring villages with their innate knowledge in apothecary, creating remedy to both existing and new poisons in a moment's notice.
Ascension Ceremony
  • [*] The Ascension Ceremony is only available for any tribesmen of the Agilao once they have reached the age of 12 and above, regardless of gender. Upon reaching said age, the tribesman is to declare their willingness to take up the Ascension Ceremony to the elders of the tribe. Upon approval, they are given the task to gather and protect two elder councils and their fiance, with the gathering portion limited to 3 days, requiring the tribesmen to earn the trust of the two chosen elder council. Once everything has been completed, the tribesmen and his group are given sufficient rations for their travel.

    Upon initiation, the tribesmen and his group are vanished from their current homes - given the task to find another suitable place for their people to migrate. Regardless of the tribesmen's knowledge of the land or even the world, he or she is unable to choose a place for themselves. Only the two elder councils are capable of deciding if the tribesmen has finished their travel, all throughout, not saying a word - leaving the tribesmen to decide on which direction to go and hope for a shorter time in finishing the ceremony.

    During the Ceremony, there are rules that the tribesmen have to follow, unknown to them. During the tribesmen's travel, the chosen tribesmen are required to protect both the elder councils as well as their fiance. Failure in protecting the elder council will lead the tribesmen's goal disappear, not knowing where to stop until their dying breath. Failure in protecting their fiance will render the tribesmen ineligible for the Gathering Ritual, preventing them from become a leader once they have found their home.

    Once the elder couple declared that the tribesmen has Arrived, marking the end of the Ceremony. The elder couple will start looking for a tree older than time. From that tree, they craft a wooden ornament ranging from a bangle or even a crown with no distinct marking or anything, plain and simple. After finishing such task, the wooden ornament is presented to the chosen tribesmen and upon wearing the ornament, the tribesmen's natural affinity for poison along with their chakra will carve the wooden ornament, describing their spiritual guardian.

    After their spiritual guardian has manifested, they are free to continue on with their lives in the new land they have reached.

    The Gathering

    [*]Only available to those who have finished the Ascension Ceremony or tribesmen of ages 8 and below, but no lower than 5. Once presented with a land to live on, naturally similar to that of their land yet in a state much worse than their own, making living quite difficulty. Presented with the option of the Gathering. Though each ritual is different, there is only one outcome. The cleansing of the land from it's poison and the sealing of the said poison to the performer of the ritual. Usually resulting in the death of the person but in return, securing a life to live on for his brethren.

    In rare cases, usually the performer has the power and endurance to live after the ceremony. Such situation will result with the performer slowly radiating poison from their own body, becoming harmful to those near to him - usually resulting to the death of the people aiding the tribesmen in performing the ritual. If the tribesmen survives and has managed to control the poison are immediately announced as the tribal leader, otherwise they are sentenced to join the Heaven Tribe.
