Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

[spoilername="Quickdraw"]A young Hito traveled out in the wooded area of the Heartland of the Cloud Village. As he stepped out of his cave, he accidentally ran into a certain man who Hito had no knownledge of. Hito was literally face to face, noses touching, But, as he bumped into the man, the man, seemingly in an instant, had drawn his weapon, or what seemed like daggers on in his hands. To Hito, this meant that the man was a very skilled fighter, or at least gave him that impression. Hito apologized, and asked the man what he was doing in this area of the forest, and what his name was. "I am Inuzuka Gekido, and I am usually in this area a lot anyways. Who are you, child, and why are YOU here?" Hito replied, "I live here.. And I am Yaban Hito. Something about you, mister, is how you readied your weapon so fast.. How did you do that?" Inuzuka looked at his weapon in hand, then looked at the kid. "I'm just naturally fast at it, I suppose. With training, you could be able to do it as well.." Inuzuka spoke with an annoyed tone, somewhat startled that a kid had appeared out of a hidden cave entrance and smacked him in the face with his own face. "I'll train you, but you will owe me for training you. We'll negotiate the terms later, and by negotiate, I mean you will do what I request of you when I ask of it." Hito nodded, not really thinking of the results of what he would owe the random man. "Yeh sure, whatever man." Inuzuka sneered, his training time for the kid about to begin. "First, i'll teach you to become quick with the drawing of your nasty sword, there, on your back. Make use of it, and not just a fucking decoration, eh? I will attack you, and you will defend, by blocking, BUT you can only defend by unsheathing your weapon each attack. It MUST stay sheathed in between attacks." Hito nodded, moving his sword from his back to his waist, for a faster withdrawal.

Then, the man raised his hand, showing he was an unarmed fighter, and using his own claws as a weapon. Inuzuka charged at Hito, repeatedly, slashing with the claws, stabbing some, and sweeping the claws for even some more attacks for Hito to defend. Hito, on the other hand, had to draw and sheath his sword after every block that Inuzuka sent towards him. At first, Hito was too slow on the draw, and would become injured, with cuts from the claws. But, with each attack, Hito seemed to catch on, and become a little faster with each sheath and unsheath combo. He began to block the attacks more and more, until he was blocking each attack that Inuzuka sent at him. Hito, having noticed that he was now able to draw his weapon out from its sheath with amazing speed, began to not only block all of the single attacks that Inuzuka sent at him, but all of the combo attacks the man sent out as well. He had mastered the ability of being able to draw and sheath his sword at amazing speeds, simply by having to using the ability to block attacks that could endanger his life. There was no better way to learn than that.[/spoilername]

[spoilername="Initiate"]"Now that you have learned how to draw your sword from being sheathed within an instant, now I shall teach you more things, being as you have piqued my personal interest... Do you object, pup?" Hito, not turning down any form of training, shook his head no. He was still sweating from having to do such a strenuous task of sheathing and drawing his sword repeatedly in order to block the onslaught of the others attacks. Now, it was time for more training. "Now I will teach you to move before your opponent. It will help to throw them off guard, and keep you in the offensive part of the fight if you are good at it.." As Inuzuka finished his sentence, he was already behind Hito with his claws to Hito's back. He had been taken off guard. The man had demonstrated what could happen if you moved before your opponent, or before they were ready. Hito took mental note of it, and knew what he had to do. "I understand." Inuzuka shook his head. "We'll see. I doubt you do." As he finished that sentence, he had already ran behind Hito to strike him across the back. Using the training from before, Hito blocked and using his own fighting skills, spun around the man to become behind him, his sword halfway drawn to be along the man's lower back. "Good, good, pup. Maybe you DO have some kind of understanding.." They spread out again, and stared at each other in the eyes, waiting for each other's movements. Inuzuka made a small foot movement, and was gone from Hito's vision, reappearing beside him, now unarmed, his fist poking in Hito's side. "Dead." Straightening himself up, they started over by spreading out. This went on for a while, until Hito began to notice small movements here and there, and began to mimic them, or at least try to mimic them until he would be the one making the first strike to the other. Inuzuka would block, being unharmed from anything Hito would throw at him, causing Hito to try just that much harder to casue SOME type of damage to the other...

Then, as they gave each other some distance, Inuzuka was about to start talking about how Hito was becoming a nuisance and a slow learner, when he felt a prick to his side. Looking sideways, he saw Hito with his sword blade pressed to Inuzuka's ribs. Inuzuka nodded his approval at how Hito had begun to catch on now. So, separating again, they tried again. Tiume and time again, Hito would be the one to make the first move, to end up having the point or the blade of his sword meeting the others body, in some part of limb. Hito had finally learned how to become the one to strike, and take the initiative in battle; to become the one to make the first move in battle. He would take this second lesson to heart, as well as the first. "Good job, kid. Yet another ability to help you in battles from here on out that you've gotten down rather quickly... It's like you were meant to fight and kill!"[/spoilername]

[spoilername="Called Shots"]"Well pup, you're catching on quicker than I expected you to... You're a good student to teach to. For that, I'll teach you three more things to help you survive out in the world.. God knows you'll need them. So.. Since your strength is lacking in your attacks, I'll teach you how to become truly strong.. I'll teach you how to become so strong, you won't believe your own strength. But, besides that, I'll also teach you about where to strike someone in key locations of their body to deliver the most effective blow, to injure, wound, or even kill; and I'll show you how to string your attacks together to combo all of your moves into one attack. I believe you will be able to master these talents with ease, seeing as you have already impressed me, why not place future belief in you as well? Don't make me regret my decision, kid. So, now... First thing first, I will start off showing you how to judge where to attack someone on their body, based on what they are wearing, what they are carrying, or what they are doing. Different things depend on where you can strike a critical body point. If someone is wearing armor, you cannot strike their chest as effective as you can their legs or their arms, or even their face. Take that bit into your mind, and let it come to fruition. Think on that." Hito, taking all of this in as mental notes, tried his best to remember all of the information given. "So, mister, if they are wearing a protective gear over their torso, you are saying I could go for their arms, legs, or face?" Inuzuka shook his head. "No, pup, I said it would be HARDER to strike a critical body part there. You want to aim for their major body parts they NEED to survive and live. Heart, lungs, stomach, ligaments, muscles, eyes, fingers.. All of these things, a person HAS to have in order to be a shinobi, and actually be alive. Get what I am saying now?" Hito rubbed his head, thinking on what he had just heard. "I suppose so. I mean, if they have armor over their chest, you would have a hard time piercing their armor to stab them in the heart or the lung... But they always have the eyes, muscles of other limbs, and other body parts to aim for.. I suppose I see what you are saying. So, if someone had protection on their torso and legs, their eyes would be exposed or their hands.." Inuzuka nodded, but also added in; "There isn't always something available to strike at; therefore you must know what to go after first, or to at least do your best to injure, you know? Think of it as they have everything covered - What would you go after?"

Hito thought about that question a bit, giving it time to sink in his mind, and allowing his thought process to come up with separate scenarios. "I suppose i'd go after the heart first, and if that wasn't effective, their lungs, then their main arteries in the neck or elsewhere in their body.." Inuzuka nodded, agreeing with Hito. "Excellent choice. I agree as well. Now, that you are reasted, and I have taught you about where to strike... We will continue on to stringing your attacks together, to form more advanced attacks, and form combos with your jutsu, or your strikes pup."[/spoilername]

[spoilername="Combo Master"]"So, what you want to do when you string together your strikes, pup, is to make sure you KEEP FIGHTING! You don't want to stop sending your attacks. What you should be doing is using fluid movements, quick speedy strikes, and linking your attacks together in order to overwhelm your opponent, and try to hit them more effectively. Follow, pup?" Hito nodded along, knowing this bit a little well from his Taijutsu classes at the academy. "Aye, I do. I know this more than the rest. I took Taijutsu classes, and did a little of it in one of the classes." As he spoke, Kido gave a frown face, but nodded along, being as he was about to test the kid anyways. "We'll see just how well you know it, ya? Get ready. I won't go easy on you." "Oh, I know..." He was still sweating from the training before. This man didn't play around like the teachers at the academy.. "So, I'm going to send a basic throw of hands at you; just to show you the idea of combining your strikes a little at a time. " At that, Inuzuka extended his fists slowly, in a one-two punch movement, just for an example. Then, he threw in an uppercut, and kept advancing with each attack. Every time he finished showing a linkage of moves, he'd add another into the mix, to keep the moves rolling. As he finished his first demonstration, he motioned for Hito to join in, rolling his fists in circles, a sort of monkish tradition, to extend out and throw in a kick to the mix. It would advance from that to throwing in a dance-like move, dropping to their back, sending out sweeps, upward kicks, and pushing up their body with their arms to thrust the final kick up to what would be the breast or chin of the opponent. At the finish, it would end in the move linkage to be in a standing position, ready to start over with a new combo. Without saying a word, both turned to each other to practice. Hito would draw his sword while Kido would use his dagger like nails as claws. Kido would send swipe after swipe to hito, throwing in a knee to Hito's body, and ending in sending a kick to the kid's side. Hito on the other hand, would begin by sending his sword to meet the others claws in a side slash, come back on the defensive to bounce the kicks off, and brign his knee up to meet the others, and blocking it. Now that he had blocked, he would go on the offensive, and send his sword as an X slashing movement to the other, repeatedly, following after a few strikes to a circular, 360 slash/turn movement, dropping low to send out his leg as a sweep at the same time. Coming up from that, he'd send his sword in the direction of Kido, for a final link, his sword gleaming as he quickly sent it as a pierce to the others chest, a lesson from earlier.

Inuzuka, blocking all of Hito's attacks, barely escaping some blows to his body, began to sweat with how well Hito could link his attacks together, and just how creative he got with it, his strikes and timing just enough to keep the opponent on their toes, and not being able to completely focus on all of the moves. "Jeeze, pup, you have a well experienced fighting style for linking attacks together. You said you learned this in the academy?" Hito shrugged, his attacks now keeping the other on the defensive. He would begin his attack combos, sending his sword flying in different angles. He used his full range of motion to try and catch Kido off guard—lo and behold, the ploy worked! Following up on the surprise attack, Hito began to form a lightning jutsu in his off hand. He was charging right at him! All the while, Hito replied "I taught myself how to fight, growing up in this area. They just helped refine my style."

Kido, not able to block the lightning jutsu, was successful in slapping the hand away, taking a knee to his side, the rest of the moves blocked. Now, Kido was in a sweat. "Pup, that was ballsy. But, I can see that you already have an extreme understanding of being able to put your attacks to good use, and be able to link them together..." He wiped his forehead, clearing the sweat. "Even made ME sweat, pup..."[/spoilername]

[spoilername="Bulls Strength"]Kido, short of breath as well, approached the kid one last time to talk about the last training technique that he was willing to show him. "Last thing, pup... Is how to become truly strong. Not saying you AREN'T strong, but how to become even stronger. What I want you to do, kid, is crush a boulder to dust, using only your fists. Hop to it, I have places to be." Leaving Hito to do what was required, Kido sat on a fallen tree, and awaited the completion of the task. Hito, having already known where to find a boulder, set off. As he looked the boulder over, he looked at his fists. "What the fuck, how am I supposed to make this into dust?" Inuzuka, looking over, gave no reply other than "Find out, pup."

His reply was short, and somewhat pissed off Hito. Slightly annoyed, Hito looked back at his hands once more, then sent the first punch at the huge rock. He did this for some time, no noticeable change occurring in the rock formation before him. Minutes flew by, then hours, then a full day. Still, nothing changed in the rock density, nor in the rock surface. Yet Hito's hands were a bloody mess. He had busted knuckles, bloodied hands, wrists, and a even more bloody shirt from wiping the red liquid on his shirt when he took a break. After a full day had passed, Kido had mentioned how his training had become a little slower compared to the other tasks he had done with the boy. "Hurry up, will ya?" At that, being as Hito was already mad, the remark sent him into an even madder state of mind. He threw his punches harder, faster, and more precise. Upon striking the boulder a wrong way, he stubbed his knuckles the wrong way, shooting pain in his arm. "FUCK THIS ROCK!" Ignoring his already present pain, Hito sent the fist back at the boulder, punching it as hard as he could, and even more than what he knew. The giant boulder had not only shifted back a few inches, but had a huge crack in the surface of it as well. Without stopping, or even noticing, Hito kept throwing punches, his rage growing even more, his blood-lust seeping through his inner consciousness. His punches became liquid movements, his heavy punches demolishing the giant boulder into smaller rocks with ever punch. By the time Hito calmed down, his hands were dirty from the dust and blood mixture, and the boulder was nowhere to be seen, other than the pile of pebble size stones around the area he was standing. "Seems like you got it kid... Even though you have a huge anger management problem." He chuckled, and got off the tree trunk that had fallen over. "Well, that leaves a debt you owe me. I will search for you when I need you - and I'll tell you your debt at that time. Take care, pup. It's been fun." And with that, Kido took off from the area Hito was residing in. This was the final lesson he was teaching Hito, after all. Hito, now done with the training, cleaned up in a nearby stream, and went back to his cave to relax, and catch some seriously well earned sleep. Before he fell asleep, he said "Get rekt, son", and laughed, ending his day and falling fast asleep.[/spoilername]
