General Description: Kio is very influenced by the animal side inside her. She is extremely friendly; so much so that her average greeting is the rubbing of cheeks. However she is also a skilled hunter. She adores high places and tends to be more active during the night. During the day she can often be found napping in the sun.

Character History: Being so young there is not much to tell. She grew up in the clan as a skilled hunter training under the guidance of the elder Oishi-sama. She trains hard in the skill of stealth and taijutsu. It is only now that she will go to the academy to learn the other ninja art. She is a little fearful of what her peers may think of her appearance, but she will give it her best.
Clan History: In the village of Guntou fed precious life giving waters by a sacred waterfall that cast a eternal gentle rain upon the small grassy knoll amidst the deep jungle live the family Kira. The elder was a carpenter of great skill who went by the name of of Tsuki. The matron was a Priestess in the Village of Rain whom frequently had to leave to perform ceremonies and blessings, her name was Hayabusa Tori. She was descended from a moderate line of Priestess and nin whom occasionally had to guard the sacred chamber of Seiryuu. While on a mission to retrieve a scroll from the depths of the jungles Tori met Tsuki, the two fell fast in love as they trekked into the dark ruins to find a scroll that told of an ancient trickster that had plagued the old gods long ago.
Tori began to spend more and more time with the elder carpenter whom made the pillars, furniture, and sarcophagi for the more prominent families and temples. After several years of love letters and intermittent visits the two married and Tori took the family Kira. They were a healthy couple despite being in their late thirties, and conceived a child they named Toha. Kira Toha was a curious and rambunctious child, she found delight in everything the deep forests and jungles had to offer. She was especially blessed when it came to water sports, able to play in the eternal rain fields for hours on end. As she attended school in the village her studies were supplemented by her studies under her mother whom wanted her to be a Priestess just like she had been. Lovely, gifted and talented she took to her studies of ancient lore like a fish to water and was soon able to pass her entry exams into the Temple of Rain. She was assigned to look after the scroll her mother had retrieved over twenty years ago in preparation for her final exam.
Her curiosity got the better of her and she actually opened the ancient scroll to read its contents. As she opened the sealed container and removed the glossy time repellant parchment her fingers were cut by the exceedingly dry yet razor sharp edges. Her blood was quickly absorbed into the parchment revealing a hidden phrase at the base of the scroll which seemed to be a story of how Seiryuu had been tricked into shedding a tear for a girl whom did not deserve such a boon. Caught in the trap, the read, the story, and the blood magic Toha read the phrase aloud releasing the spirits of two spirits that had been locked in eternal battle. One was Pu-ma a daughter of Hyou the Celestial Black Panther whose soul had been lost to battle with demons centuries ago, and the trickster Jagya, Pu-ma’s cousin whom became a demon beast in order to take the power of all the God Beasts as her own. Trapped for centuries in a separate dimension by the demon scroll’s seal Toha was transformed by their essence.
Toha was swept up in their battle and lost herself Jagya saw an opening in Toha’s soul and took it trapping Pu-ma inside Toha’s heart. When Toha awoke she found herself in her home or what remained of it. She woke to find her family home in ruins and her family dead a result of Jagya’s rampage, her mother had given her life sealing Jagya inside Toha although she has no memory of it. When the Grand Priestess found out what Toha had done she was sent away to the caverns of woe to reconcile herself and make amends for her actions. She was summarily outcast from her village and unable to return. Her quest to make amends was cut short by the destruction of the village of rain and soon she found herself a refugee wandering with others whom did not know her as they made their way to konoha. There she fund and Inuzuka as feral as herself. He had his own demonic ancestry but that is another story.
