She was raised by her father, who put her through strict training sessions nearly every day from the time her brother passed away when she had been four years old. He had been determined to make her the best. He was ashamed he hadn't had a prodigy for a child. So he drove her to the ground with training, being a (now retired) Jounin himself. He taught her well, teaching her wind element. She was having trouble learning a second element. She knew more than enough to be a genin, now she had to pass the test and prove her worth.
