Kairi has black hair that falls just beneath her shoulders. She keeps it held back with a headband, which takes the place of the ninja headband she intends to wear once she has obtained it. She wears a short-sleeved, kimono-style top that is white with navy blue trim over skin-tight black shorts. Ninja sandals adorn her feet, the same kind as typically seen on shinobi. Black fingerless gloves are on her hands, and a pouch that holds her ninja tools is strapped to her right leg. Kairi has clear blue eyes and pale skin, and is a little under five feet tall.
Personality:
A quiet girl, Kitamura Kairi doesn't like to boast or brag about her accomplishments, knowledge, or family life. She is very intelligent for her age, and is adept at many styles of jutsu. She thrives at taijutsu, due to the fact that during the majority of her childhood she trained in her backyard. The Kitamura clan specializes in Fire ninjutsu, so she is skilled at that. She is average in all other types of ninjutsu that she has attempted, but has never experimented with genjutsu and does not know how she would fair with that style of fighting. Kairi is driven, hard-working, and focused on her goal of becoming a shinobi. She does not have any friends to speak of, but is not rude or cruel and as such has no enemies to speak of either.
Backstory/Family History:
When Kitamura Kairi was only a few months old, her father, Kitamura Rikku, was killed in combat. Kairi's mother, Hana, was never a shinobi. Instead, she tended to a family-owned shop. Rikku's side of the family, the Kitamura clan, specialized in Fire-type jutsus (namely, Scorch-type) and many of them were shinobi. Rikku was a high-level chunin when he passed. Kairi was raised to respect and honor the memory of her fallen father, and wanted to follow in his footsteps. While she grew up, she helped her mother in the shop but also trained with trees in the backyard or random objects in the house. She became adept at taijutsu, but never really experimented too much with other types of jutsu. What she did attempt usually turned out okay, but taijutsu and Fire ninjutsu always attracted her the most. Now, Kairi is an Academy student, and will do her best to become a shinobi like her father did.
