Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.
This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Bloody Mess said:After Mizuki grew up from his childhood into his teenage years, he begun to realize just what he was capable of with his katana. Earlier in life, he had learned that he was blessed with being a part of a samurai bloodline who practically worshiped their blades. After he had read up on his bloodline, he had realized that his katana was his best option in a fight whenever one would come up.
And he truly figured out his capability when he sparred with someone in his family's training facility. It was merely two strangers fighting each other to train themselves and Mizuki had brought along his trusty blade. The other man was simply a ninjutsu user, and when the fight started Mizuki quickly drew out his sword and lunged at the man while the gentleman shoot flames at him. Getting burnt from the flames, Mizuki kept going straight on and nailed the man in the abdomen causing blood to spill out from there. The man was holding onto his stomach as he probably wasn't expecting a clean blow right there and early on. Mizuki didn't stop though and struck again, causing more blood to spill and at an even faster rate. Shocking himself, he stopped for a second for the man to recover and then proceeded to stab him in the stomach with again more blood spilling and now coming out extremely fast. In all honest, Mizuki didn't know that each blow he hit was only causing the amount of bleeding to increase from the man.
And still being naive and being motioned to keep fighting, Mizuki slashed at his legs and the same results occurred as at the abdomen. It started with mild bleeding, increased to moderate and now it was severe. Mizuki had seen enough from this fight as the man was a bloody mess, he called for his dad and they took the man to the hospital. But on the way there, Mizuki was thinking about his fighting and how he was increasing the amount of blood accumulating from the man, and he concluded that he intend had obtained a secret art in the bloodline that older generations had not been able to obtain for hundreds of years.
Healing Factor said:The best offense is a good defense, that was a saying that ran deep into the heart and mind of Mizuki. He had been taught growing up how to fight multiple ways and have an offensive plan. However, he was never taught how to have a good defense aside from clones and body switching himself out of the fight. He knew that a situation may arise where he just couldn't fight back with what jutsu he had...he needed a different way to protect himself or at least keep himself strong enough to fight.
And...what better way to learn a different way to defend himself than to read some books in his family's library starting with medical books and going down to books on his bloodline! Thus Mizuki grabbed the books, shut his door and locked it and sat at his desk and started to read through the books. All these medical books were based on if the reader was a medical ninja like his mother and unfortunately for him, he wasn't a medical ninja but instead part of the Ministry/ANBU.
So, those books were out of the window and that left him with the book on his bloodline that he had used on multiple occasions to learn more about what he was actually capable of since he had this blood streaming through his veins. It didn't take long for Mizuki to read and find out that much like his bloody mess experience from when he sparred with that guy, that battling would show if he was gifted enough with another trait from his bloodline.
So this time instead of testing a theory/idea out on stranger, he would be practicing with his father and seeing if he truly was gifted with another ancient art in his family's blood. Much like their fights before, both father and son were wielding blades one handed and they both were so confident in themselves. They dashed at each other and swung at each other causing blade to hit blade and a high pitch screeching sound to illuminate the room. This standstill would continue for a few more seconds until Mizuki tried to break his father's sword away on purpose and instead got slashed in the arm and knocked over with the impact of the sword and his father kicking him in the side. Laying on the floor, he saw blood falling on the floor from his arm but then saw his wound healed up itself and stopped bleeding. Mere coincidence, or was this theory working out?
Getting back up, he motioned to his father to attack again and they duked it out again and again trying to one up his dad to the result of him getting knocked over and this time stabbed in the abdomen. The pain was real, the bleeding was real, but Mizuki quickly took off his shirt so his chest was showing. And to his and his father's astonishment, the wound healed itself up and stopped bleeding. His dad and him both amazed by the ability of his body to heal itself, normal people would have been bleeding for minutes and yet Mizuki had only shed a little blood and was already healed up. This was a great breakthrough for Mizuki as he was becoming more dangerous in a fight now if he could simply naturally heal himself.
Initiative said:From a very young age, Mizuki was told to take the initiative and go do stuff. He was told to do what he wanted and don't worry about what other people said or did. And so that is what he did! He practiced aimlessly to perfect his fighting, and to speed up his fighting! During a fight, every second counts and Mizuki was well aware of this. If he could quicken his fighting, the opponent would have no idea what hit them and in turn...he had the element of surprise and an upper-hand earlier in the fights. Thus, he practiced every other week on increasing his speed in combat and then the weeks where he didn't practice, he would be sparring to test out his training. Like most things, the first few weeks were bad as he haven't been making much progress but as he kept doing this routine he started to grasp ways to lessen the time it took to swing his sword or use his jutsu or whatever. It was mere milliseconds that could decide a life or death situation, and Mizuki was glad he was taking the time to perfect not only his jutsu but also lessening the time it took to cast them or to swing that blade.
The real challenge though, would be to see how all the training turned out when the fight actually meant something like love or life/death.
Quick Reaction said:While growing up and sparring with multiple people, Mizuki had learned a lot. One was to never let your guard down at any given point, another was to always have a backup plan and maybe the most important was always be the quicker one in a hand-to-hand fight or a fight in general. If you were faster, you could get in more shots and damage your opponent quicker than they could to you. But being quicker didn't mean to have the agility or stamina, if you were quicker at thinking...one could react to a situation easier too and lessen the damage caused to them or even dodge and counter. There are many different considerations to being faster.
Mizuki knew all this and took them all into consideration as he grew up. He learned through spars the benefits of being quicker to react. It all started with his dad like almost everything else, as when they first sparred...Mizuki could never land a blow on his dad. But through learning, experiencing and training...he managed to get quicker both physically and mentally. It surely wasn't a quick process, it took years for him to actually be up to par with many of the other shinobi in the village including his dad. He would spend so much time practicing scenarios in his mind and how to counteract them. He also would actually spar and allow his opponents to make the first move so that he could figure out the best way to react and through much training, he would get quicker and quicker. He has managed to quicken his reactions since he started training, but he still has a long way to go!
Quickdraw said:Growing up, the young Mizuki had learned that a weapon was a valuable asset but taking forever to draw it could spell disaster as your enemy, friend or father could get a few moves up on you and capitalize. So in his spare time, the young kid would practice drawing his weapons and sheathing them. He would do this multiple times and was slowly getting faster with each rep. But practicing wasn't the only thing he did to get better, he would challenge his friends and dad to spars to see how he could handle it during a pressure situation and although he took his lumps the first few times...he was getting quicker and that was all that mattered. As long as he kept getting quicker, then getting lumped was a-okay.
Skip ahead to today and the now 18 year old shinobi had nearly perfected the art and it had become almost second nature to him, he would never be perfect at it and it would never feel completely normal but he would make do with what he got for progress.
Nimble Hands said:At a very young age, Mizuki had learned how to handle his blade in the midst of a fight as he had sparred with his father on multiple occasions to perfect his skills. However, he still had much to learn as his father was hitting him left and right with ninjutsu while still holding his blade and all that poor Mizuki could do was use his blade to defend himself and to strike back. This is how Mizuki lost many fights growing up against his friends and father, he needed to create a better way of attacking so that he could use his offense as a great defense as well.
Thus, one day he approached his father while his dad was attending to their garden and asked his dad the question of how he could wield a blade and yet be able to strike him with ninjutsu and even genjutsu for that matter. His dad instructed him that it took much time and effort as one had to be to hold the sword in one hand without any struggle first and then be able to create one-handed seals with the other. Mizuki nodded as he understood and he ran off to do just that. He practiced on holding his blade in one hand which wasn't an easy thing to just do as the weight now wasn't even divided, it had to be all on my hand. It took him a few weeks but he perfected that part of his training, he then used his blade as he would in a fight and then practiced doing his one handed seals and they for one were not easy to do at all. Instead of combining both hands, he had to reteach himself all his jutsu and speed up the process with each rep. Learning how to use all his jutsu definitely was a setback but after a few more weeks, he had perfected it. Then, he challenged his father to a spar and shocked his father by finally beating his dad. It was a great moment for the boy.
Hidden Power said:Once while still in the academy, Mizuki got into a heated discussion with another student over some dumb girl that isn't even important anymore. This discussion results into a fight on the playground after school was over with a large group of students surrounding the two boys. The teachers could clearly see there was going to be a brawl ensuing but they didn't interfere as the boys were going to need to learn to defend for themselves and what better way than a little fight.
Mizuki was a short little kid at the time, but still had the same body built as he does now. The other kid however was tall, skinny lad with some muscle to him. As the fight begun, Mizuki tried to talk himself out of the fight but received a large fist to the mouth and got knocked over. The other kid insisted then to jump on top of Mizuki and pound his fists into Mizuki's face repeatedly which caused blood to spill everywhere and caused Mizuki to come in and out of consciousness. This beating continued for a good five minutes and then the boy got up and started walking away, leaving Mizuki in what he thought was a bloody heap. But, Mizuki got up which seemed so impossible due to the beating he received. The circle of kids gasped and the boy turned around in astonishment. Mizuki slowly walked over to the boy and punched the kid in the nose, breaking his nose and having blood seep from it. He then received a heavy punch in the gut from one of the kids in the crowd and fell over again. He then got some kicks to the side and the kids begun to laugh at him, but Mizuki wasn't giving up. He got back up and decked the kids closest to him and then throw a smoke bomb to give him some time.
He then slammed his fist into the boy he was fighting and knocked the kid on the ground and out. He then looked at the others and they scurried away like mice that have seen a cat. He then walked away, and thought about what just happened. He was just brutally attacked, nearly killed, but yet he was still up. He had managed to unlock some kind of hidden power it seemed when he was beat down anymore. He just shrugged and kept walking, he liked the adrenaline that rushed through him when his back was against the wall.
