History: Born in Kumo as the son of a clock maker and a singer. Neither of Akechi’s parents were shinobi, in fact you had to go a long way back to find a shinobi in either of his parents families. As a child, he loved to play in his father’s shop, tinkering with the spare parts and trying make fancy things like his dad. However, as he grew older, he grew more and more uninterested in the idea of carrying on his father’s craft, and even though he loved to sing like his mother, he was much worse and didn’t seem likely to improve. Akechi was bored.
Growing up and growing restless, Akechi decided to enter the academy. After all there is nothing more exciting and badass than being a ninja, right? He had been running around the woods, playing in trees since he was a tiny little li’l whippersnapper, why not make a career of it? Secret missions and assassinating bad guys? Hell yes! His parents were less than thrilled, the exact response being a sincere ‘Hell no!’, however Akechi would not be swayed. Of course, in the end mama and papa Kodama relented, and Akechi was free to enroll and begin his legend.
