Name: Komatsu Akamaro
Age: 10
Physical Description: Akamaro is male. He stands at 4 feet 7 inches tall. His skin is pale due to being raised his entire life in Sunagakure. The boy normally wears a black or grey long sleeve shirt with tan pants. His hair is a maroon red, long and down to about his shoulders, and his eyes a pale blue that to some seem grey. The boy is of a skinny stature and does not have too much meat or muscle on him just yet. His face is still quite young, sporting a bit of baby 'fat'. Normally the boy is seen with a smile on his face. Either that or a look of extreme focus. Born as an only child the boy often finds himself deep in thought, resulting in his stern demeanor.
Mental Description: Akamaro is a fairly carefree child. He was born an only child and therefore often finds himself deep in thought. He is quite creative and seems to always be thinking of something. Being an only child he is often trying to push himself to be someone useful to Sunagakure. His parents have never made it apparent that they dont approve of Akamaro but he wants very badly to prove his worth to his country and his family. If you see Akamaro with a determined or focused look on his face he is probably day dreaming or scheming of ways he can hopefully push himself and make himself valuable to Sunagakure. He often is so focused on his thoughts that you will see him staring at his feet as he walks forgetting to pay attention to his destination.
He is a kind child, never looking to upset those around him. In fact you might say the boy is too kind. He knows if he hopes to serve as a shinobi for Sunagakure he will need to change his personality. He understands that those who pledge their lives for Sunagakure may have to make tough decisions... but at this age he simply does not want to upset anyone. A friend to many and an enemy to just about nobody. He knows he cannot live his life this way forever.
History: Akamaro is the child of a very happy couple. His mother is a trader and his father was a shinobi who had been injured. Once a great man, who wanted to climb the ranks, Akamaro's father lost his right hand rather recently and has since lived at home helping his mother with trading. When Akamaro was born his father was excited to teach his son how to be the best shinobi he could possibly teach him to be. But once the injury happened Akamaro's father became depressed. He hardly trained and seemed to give up on his old life. At first he was simply on leave due to his injury but over time it seemed he never wanted to return to the life of a shinobi. Akamaro was just a boy but could see the effect of his fathers injury. Akamaro knew he wanted to become a shinobi. He wanted to show his father that his son could be just as great a shinobi as he is. But he needed his father help.
Akamaro knew the man could still be a shinobi. Many a man has fought through worse than a missing hand. So, with the child reaching an age acceptable of enrollment, Akamaro asked to enroll in the Academy. At first his father and mother were reluctant, likely due to the injury his father had suffered, but soon the couple decided it was fine. They could see the passion in Akamaro passed down through his father. The man was proud to see his boy following in his footsteps. Akamaro knew with this opportunity he could not only bring his father out of depression but also prove his worth to his family and the entirety of Sunagakure.
