Character's Physical Description: Komora is four feet, one inch tall. She weighs 52 lbs. Her shoulder length hair is a pale shade of blonde and her eyes are brown. She has a child’s body and has no secondary sexual characteristics at her age. She has a thin build and seems a bit on the lanky side. She is often covered in dirt, or wearing her clothes wrong. She doesn’t care though. She has no regards for her physical appearance, grooming, or personal hygiene. If she is bathed and dressed, you can thank that someone in her family took the time to help her.
Character's Mental Description:
In the shinobi world, everyone is special. Komora is special too, but in her own way. Her biggest weakness is her ability to communicate. She struggles socially. She has difficulty reading and writing and prefers to draw pictures to describe her thoughts and feelings instead. Another struggle for Komora is expressing herself verbally. She often structures her sentences in a way that makes her seem like she is off in coo-coo land. The truth is something much different. Komora simply sees the world in a different color than the people around her. To her, what she says and feels make perfect sense and she is frustrated when others fail to understand her. The one area she seems to connect well with others is when it concerns blades. Komora is seen something of a walking dictionary when it comes to weapons. If one were to hold a conversation solely about kunai one would be led to believe that Komora was somehow a normal person. She is much more well behaved than when she was a genin. She is able to follow simple instructions, and with the help of drawings she is able to follow more complicated orders. Komora handles her frustration through the care of her kunai which she finds to be a comforting act.
Character History: Komora is the youngest of her siblings in the Main branch of the Mochizuki troupe. She seemed a normal child up until she reached the age of two years old. While her peers and play mates continued to develop and mature mentally, Komora was left after. She was growing older, but still required a great deal of attention and support from her family. She grew to have an unhealthy obsession with sharp objects. At the age of four she managed to get ahold of some knives and ended up killing a small dog and covering herself in the creature’s blood. From that point on knives had to be locked up tight in order to keep them away from her. Even so, it seemed that she always found a way to get ahold of them. Her fascination with knives and pointy objects grew to be primarily about swords as she grew closer to her present age. The family came to the conclusion that instead of hiding the weapons from her, she should instead be trained on the proper use of them so that she doesn’t hurt herself or someone else. This is what began her entrance into the Academy in Kumo despite her weaknesses.
After an incident during her time at the academy, Komora was given professional help by Cloud. Her potential to become a genin was seen as reason enough to get her to a state where she could reliably follow orders. For several months she spent her time working with a counselor who was helping her learn how to behave and follow directions. She managed to maintain most of her physique through the showmanship her clan is known for. Her talents as a hawkeye was put to use by her clan and she became part of a trick knife throwing act during that time period. She made her first decision in regards to her appearance by bleaching her hair blonde from its natural shade of teal. Her eyes have darkened during this time from their almost shade of red to a more natural brown color. After a few months of counseling she has been declared fit for duty and has returned.
