Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Character Age: 18
Gender: Male
Character's Physical Description: Kazuhiko is a very large man, standing over six feet tall. One could say that his very presence is incredibly intimidating, and that is just the way that he likes it. His facial features give off little to what is running through his mind as he works through day to day activities. His eyes are an incredibly distinct ruby red coloration rimmed with dark eye lashes. His hair is disheveled most of the time, giving off that 'just rolled out of bed' look more times than not. His bangs brush just past his nose, whereas the body of his hair barely meets the middle of the nape of his neck. Adorned around his neck are a couple different rosaries that are always there no matter what outfit he decides to wear. A typical outfit that the male wears consists of form fitting clothing that can take on neutral coloration. There is no specific outfit that he decides on wearing from day to day, it typically just matters whatever is clean and at the front of his closet. Or hell, it doesn't even have to be necessarily clean. Just blood free. He's found that wearing things that are stained with blood typically give his patients a bit of a fright. Ah, well. Surely they will live, correct? Of course, they're in capable hands.

Character's Mental Description: Intelligence would be one of the first things that would come to mind when describing Kazuhiko. He is incredibly intelligent and eager to demonstrate it. Hence why he took on a position within the rankings of Medical Shinobi. Not because he was too squeamish to get done any job that ANBU demanded, but rather he knew that his mind would have gone to waste within the ranking of Guardian/ANBU. It didn't even take half a brain to stay alive and do your job. . . That was actually something that was supposed to come naturally to a person. Ah, so in his mind, going into the Medical branch was a far better choice than any of the rest. When working there, one had to be conscious of how to work upon a another person's body, find exactly where their organs and other major systems were. You also had to feign empathy towards these patients even though it was something that you had seen time and time again. Oh, and not to mention you had to pretend that your blood lust was not greater than yourself, despite the fact that it was. All in all, Kazuhiko can be considered a condescending man if you dug deep into his mind, but his mind was not something so easily penetrable. So, on the outside when he was within the halls of the Hospital, he would be seen as someone who is to be revered and looked up to. . . His medical expertise something that are considerable. Though he has a tendency not to flaunt this in the face of others just to make sure that he doesn't go off and insult anyone of 'lesser' intelligence.

His greatest forte is held within the study of blood, but that comes as no surprise what so ever. After all, he is a dark dreamer and one who follows into a cultish mania in chase of a higher power. So, anything rare or simple dealing with blood. . . he can diagnose it, treat it, and even see people through these issues. It is his passion and what he works hard to keep sharp.

Character History: Nothing out of the ordinary. At least, that's the easiest way that one would go about explaining it. Akiyama Kazuhiko's life has never been anything extraordinary, and he never strove to make any more come to the light. It was simple, really. He just had a few goals, and that was to make it through the Academy much like his family had before him. He would do so, keeping below the radar for time to come. It was never, ever his intention to make himself stand out. Or. . . At least, that was what he had thought. As a Genin, it would be found that he showed an incredible knowledge of the human anatomy and other such things that worked within the human body and thus it caused him to be offered a position in the rankings of Medical Shinobi. He, of course, graciously accepted the offer. Though he never wanted to stand out, he did want to make a difference in the lives of others. What better way than to heal them and make them whole again? It was a motivation for him to push on and become more resilient himself. More and more he would push himself to his very limits, and he would harness more control over his abilities. As a Steadfast, he seemed to take on some pretty concrete attributes. He was undying and he pushed forward even when things got incredibly complicated.

As time trudged on, though, and he advanced through the rankings, he found himself growing more cold and far more aloof than what he had ever been before. All of the bloodshed and anguish that he had seen had made him grow callous. He couldn't help it. It was hard not to grow cold towards all of the stuff going on. Though he slowly lost his compassion, he found ways to feign the emotion. Eventually, he found himself at Jounin rank and he studied blood for his living. Blood, disease, and anything that made the human body tick. . . He specialized in it. Nowadays, he simply just works hard in the Medical field during the day. . . and by night? That's a whole other story that will unfold itself in coming events.

The ivory moon loomed high within the sky tonight. The stars appeared over the terrain much like someone took a needle and punctured the dark backdrop repeatedly. It was a full moon, so thus that also meant that it was a fool moon. The full moon really brought out the worst in people, or that was how it seemed. Every time the bright shining orb hung in the sky in fully exposed glory, it seemed as though it was a guiding light to the Mecca of idiocracy. At least that meant that there was some sort of job security for Kazuhiko. The towering man would sit behind his desk, leafing through a few pieces of paper on the wooden top. Leaning heavily against his arm, he'd silently sift over the reports. Each one of them judged, but not judged by his eyes. After all, it was his job to be the accepting one. However, tonight was. . . It was quiet, and that much was what he could make of the night. It had been an absurdly quiet night here within the halls of the clinic that he had taken up to calling his home for the past few nights. He had to prepare himself, after all. He'd seen so much in past time that it was almost able to shake his solidified foundation. Please, sit down and note the almost he would dash there within his thoughts. After removing kunai and shuriken from god-knows-what-orifice and cleaning up burns from backfired drunken jutsu. . . Let's just say there was not a whole lot that could surprise him. He would choose to keep it like that, too. Leaning back in his wooden chair, his long legs would remain planted on the ground, leaving his spine contorted in a slightly strange manner. And he'd twist his neck off to the side with a satisfying popping sound. Perhaps it was time for him to finally go home? Maybe he could leave the Medical Ninja in training here to safely guide themselves and not screw themselves over? Reaching forward, he'd plant his hands against the desk now and push his body up to a stand.

Lifting his gaze up now, he'd suddenly find himself peering upon what could only be described as a pitiful being. The dull pitter patter of blood dripping to the ground would sound as an unchained tongue would lull from side to side. It seemed to him that someone was having too much fun with some explosive notes, or somewhere along those lines. It was unmistakable, right? The cracked upper teeth. . . the missing bottom jaw bones. . . He'd tilt his head off to the side now as the being would begin it's agonizing trudge over to his location. Somehow. . . he didn't feel very compelled to move and help this person. Perhaps it was the stunning glow of the blood that decorated his front. . . Or the hue that it radiated out towards him at, but there he was: Frozen in his stance. Even the words that wanted to rupture from his own lips wouldn't come forth. As this person would make it's way towards him, there was a sickening crack with every twist and turn that the body made, and a hand that was covered in cuts and twisted flesh would reach out. One leg pulled forward after another, it was almost like those legs were breaking and breaking again as he, because everything needed a pronoun to describe it, pushed forward and slipped through his own blood. Kazuhiko couldn't even swallow back whatever began to rise in his throat, because he suddenly had whatever this thing was attached to him. The labored breaths that swashed over his facial features sprayed a fine mist of blood against his flesh. He could feel the way that his pulse began to thunder inside of it's cage. Whatever this was, whomever this was. . . They knew it too. He would lean in closer, and closer. . . And it wasn't explosives that Kazuhiko could smell on his breath, but something else that he just couldn't put his finger on. What the fuck was it? Suddenly, a bloodstained and loose tongue would run the expanse of his face, staining him with blood as far as it could reach.

Shit. . . He'd feel his knees buckle and his hands would slam down on the desk below him, causing the wood to splinter there and heave up a plume of dust from unattended cracks. There was nothing more left there than the blood stains that trailed out his door now. The being? Gone, of course. Shaking his head from side to side now, he'd blow a few strands of hair from his face in an audible huffing sound. Closing his eyes for a brief moment, he'd click his tongue inside of his mouth. He wasn't sure what was going on here, but that didn't stop the rising curiousity in the back of his mind. Prying himself from behind that desk there, he'd open his eyes again and look down towards the blood spatters there against the floor. They seemed to spider outwards and they would smear in the direction towards where ever the person, being, whatever they wanted to call it went. It was time to make a decision: He was going to follow and see just how deep this rabbit hole would go. It was a change, one that breathed life directly into his flattened soul. His heavy footsteps would land against the ground as he paced in the direction, giving no hurry and his face fixed forward. The halls seemed dim, void of life. It was strange for this place to be so inactive, but there were stranger things going on this night. Swiftly walking past any rooms before anyone that may have been there could catch a glimpse, he would stop in front of a stairwell. Looking down the steps there, he'd tilt his head in a slightly inquisitive manner. It seemed that he was going to go deeper and deeper, and it didn't begin to bother him in the slightest regards. Entering the doorway, he would make his way down the steps and peer around. It was a fairly unused part of the clinic. . . One that was saved for times of great peril or triage. He'd always considered this the 'war time' area of the clinic. That was just a personal thought, though. It wasn't like war would take place on the soil of Stone, right?

Right.

The lights were even dimmer here in the basement. They would occasionally flicker on and off, signifying that there may have been something more at play here. He didn't think a second thought of it. After all, anything that would reveal itself would be easily taken care of. Soon, his ears would pick up on a low hum coming from the first room down in this basement. His eyes would narrow a bit and he would make his way over to the area, pushing his body through the entryway. And he would stop, pausing right there with widened eyes.

"I knew you'd come, they always do. I have such a keen eye for the screwed up people of the world. . ." A feminine voice would speak now and he would open his mouth to respond, but nothing passed his lips. No, he would just stand there with his mouth agape as he watched this woman in silence. She was sitting in a large tub, typically used for wound washing and other such things, but that tub was filled nearly to the very brim with thick crimson liquid. Lifting her hand now, she'd brush it back through her raven locks as she watched him. Consequently, it would lace blood through her hair and she would part her lips with a sinister smile. "Come closer. . . I don't bite too hard, my dear Doctor." Lifting her hands up, she'd push herself up now to sit on her knees. It seemed that she had been wearing a white gown that was now stained with god know's how many people's blood. Lifting her hand up, she'd offer it towards him. As he looked closer, he would notice a lengthy wound up along her arm, dug deep into the crevice of her elbow. And then he would feel his eyes widen in realization. It wasn't the blood of many. It was just her own blood. However, here she was. . . breathing, living. It was an anomaly. Or it was just something that she specialized in. He couldn't be too sure. Though, he felt his body compelled forward and he would lift his hand almost like a helpless being. His long stride put her closer and closer until he stopped there, his fingertips pressed against her's.

An iron grip would take a hold of his hand as soon as he would stop, and he felt himself dragged down. As quickly as he paced over, she would be out of the tub and he would be put down into it. Blood would drip to the floor, spattering against the outside of the tub. The substance was nearly too thick to splash, but it did spill over the edges as his weight was placed down into it. Leaning over the edge, he could see the passionate look that was held within this woman's gaze. It nearly made him want to shudder there, but he held onto himself, remaining about as stoic as ever.

"I know the madness that lurks in your soul, Akiyama Kazuhiko. I've watched you from afar for so, so long. The good Doctor has finally come to me. He has finally heard my cries and decided to take up the sword offered to him. . . Please, let me show you the ways of this world that are the only correct ways. The word of Jashin will save you, make you invincible, and bring light to this dull world of yours." Her bloodied hands would take a hold of his face, forcing him to look at her pale, bloodstained features. "Accept the word of our Lord and Savior. Become his follower and I will teach you the ways of the world you never thought that you could imagine. . . I know the chaos that stains your soul and how hard it is to contain. . . So give yourself over to him and that can become the standard. You can be yourself by day, and stronger at night. Your faith will make you stronger. So, what do you say? Will you give Jashin a chance? I know you so desire an escape. . ." Her thumbs would brush against the bone structure there in his face, and he would close his eyes now. What would he tell her? How did she know so much? It made no sense. He was interested to say the very least, but he couldn't just give in.

Could he?

It would be so easy. Easy would've been a decent change. It was true that he could maintain his daily life, and then he could be whom he wanted out of the public eye. A small breath would escape his lips now as he stared her down. Chaos lurking in his soul... She was right. So, who was he to deny such a lovely blood painted woman? ". . . Then show me your Jashin's enlightenment." He'd state in his monotonous tone now, and her lips would curl up in what could only be considered a sadistic smile.

"So be it, Doctor."

Her hand would suddenly latch around his face and she would slam him down against the bottom of the tub. The force of the impact was so harsh that he could feel his breath immediately leave him and it would bubble up to the very surface of the liquid ooze in the tub there. He could feel the blood invade his widened eyes, and the burn would cause him to squeeze them shut. The metallic, irony tang of the blood would invade his mouth and he felt that blood attempt to invade his lungs as he made a gasping sound underneath the surface. It was almost enough to make him start coughing and sputtering there. Her long nails would dig deep into his facial features as she muttered praise and a prayer to Jashin. It was almost an insane babble, one that was spoken in Bohemian. Of course, he couldn't hear any of it, just the sound of his own thrashing as he attempted to break free of her and push up to the surface. It seemed his struggles were futile, though. She was strong, incredibly strong. He could feel an odd sensation of vitality beginning to invade him as the blood began to invade his lungs.

After what seemed like an eternity, he stood on the brink of nearly passing out, but he just wouldn't give up. Finally, she would release him and he would lurch forward, a harsh cough escaping his lips to evacuate the blood and expel it from his lungs. The liquid would splash over the edges of the tub and he would cough heavily, the burn of the harsh motions raking at his throat. The one thing he could hear over the coughing was laughter, though. . . Her laughter.

"Praise Jashin! Praise the lord for another wayward soul saved!" She'd announce loudly.

It seemed almost like a nightmare, because the way that the images would melt away were uncanny. Soon he would find himself drifted off, only to wake back up and find himself laying in the very same tub. . . Clean and devoid of any blood that may have been there.

So thus, a new disciple of Jashin had been born.
