It was a new day, and a fresh morning mist had already blanketed the streets of Kriigakure. One would have expected for this particular scientist to be sound asleep just like the rest of Kirigakure especially at this early hour, but actually it was the contrary, as she hasn't slept for weeks since her conversion. Well, it made sense considering she no longer contained organs that required excessive rest and nutrients. This was almost like a dream come true for any scientist. Being able to work as long as you wanted to, and be able to accomplish as much 'science' as needed. With her precision attained from her prosthetic limbs, she long surpassed what was deemed impossible for human beings, as she no longer had the thought of nervousness within her actions. Logic was her fuel. But despite how wondrous the benefits she had attained, she still remained with the dilemma of her master. Unlike her own experiment being a success, she wasn't able to successfully transfer Kuro's thoughts into the new core she had prepared. Because for one to be able to transfer their consciousness they needed to be conscious to begin with and before the experimentation was able to be conducted, he fell into coma from the spreading of his ailment. So all she was able to do was cryogenically freeze his body, hoping that one day she would have been able to restore him.
But there was another matter at hand that was unexpected, and that was her own human body. It remained alive, despite not having any consciousness. Her organs were still functioning. She was still breathing... and blood continued to course through her very veins along with its nutrients... It was almost as if this person --who was her previous self-- was still alive. Which was astonishing. It was definitely something she hasn't predicted within her calculations. But the question now, did something still remain? It was very well possible. But this body within its current state, Kudaranai knew it was nothing more than a live vegetable on life support. But the fact that her body survived, it must have had some will to survive, some secrets she needed to learn of its capabilities. Perhaps even her own body could have been the secret to saving her master Kuro. Who knew? There was so many possibilities she didn't know about, and that was the beauty of science. Being able to research, investigate and uncover the mysteries that stumped mankind.
But aside from all that insight within her life, Kudaranai at this very moment was standing over her very own human body with much exhilaration within her eyes-- or rather within her 'heart' as her eyes lacked any kind of excitement beyond its peculiar odd tint of pink. But she was definitely on a 'high' being able to see her own body sliced open down the center of its sternum, and her prosthetic hands a mess of her human blood.
"This is amazing.... it's almost as if I'm playing with a doll of myself~", the woman thought to herself casually as she stood by the table. "Now that I think about it... does this mean I'm playing with myself?... "
”W-wait.. what nonsense am I spouting about...? Nothing. It's nothing. More science needs to be done. Yes... Without delay... It's time to stitch her up."
And as she said, she began to patch up her dissected body. Stitching away at the skin and mending the tissue with application of her medical jutsu. After she had finally finished with the operation, she then rested her unconscious body alongside her master's within cryogenic sleep.
"You know... the two of them actually seem happy with one another...."
Even if it was just for a brief moment, she thought she saw a smile on both their faces.
But with all good things, there needed to be a time to stop, and for this lady scientist she needed to head into Kirigakure to find a few 'odd materials' for her next 'project'. But as she walked amongst the busy streets, she found it comical as to how clueless the people of Kirigakure were. They didn't suspect a thing nor did they realize her transformation. It's almost as if nothing had happened. She should have demonized, outcast-ed by them. Hated for the atrocities she had committed against their people as she murdered, stole and lied to them. But instead, she was respected for her genius in medical science due to her ranking, not one person even dared to question her. Not even about the mysterious disappearance of her master. It's almost as if people began to lie to themselves even though the culprit was well beneath their noses. But this was also one of the many mysteries she wanted to solve of the human way of thought...
But for now... little time needed to be waste for these precious materials-- as more science needed to be done~ for the creation of a weapon far beyond human understanding.
