Character's Physical Description: Akuno Tatsu is a young man that stands at 5 foot, 5 inches (165 cm) with green eyes and medium length brown hair with a cowlick that falls with its weight. He wears a brown coat with the collar being a hoodie over a beige sweater vest, a pair of black pants, black fingerless gloves and combat boots.
Character's Mental Description and Core Ability Application: Tatsu gives off a kind, generous, and friendly vibe at first glance due to the way he looks, but in reality, he's very mean and doesn't play well with others. He finds interacting with other to be nuinsance, believing himself to be supperior to others. Inside Tatsu resides a demonic presence that he was born with. The demon's name is Akki and it can talk to Tatsu whenever it wants to, however others cannot hear it. The demon cannot take control of Tatsu's body in any way, forced to be a spectator in its host's life.
Character History: Tatsu and four older siblings were products of an arranged marriage between a demon and a Tatsu's mother. Tatsu's father was trying to breed a child that had demonic powers. He failed four times before finally having a son with demonic heritage in the form of Tatsu. Because of this, Tatsu received all of his father's attention, which was not a good thing.
When he was five years old, Tastu started to receive training from his father because of his Demonic Ancestry. However, the training was too harsh and forced Tatsu to cry and vomit. His mother would try to defend him, but his father refused to listen and would even physically abuse her in front of Tatsu.
His father also prevented Tatsu from interacting with his older siblings and Tatsu began to despise the training and resented his father for abusing him and his mother.
During these dark times, his mother would do her best to support him, encouraging him to become a ninja so that one day he could surpass his father and maybe free his family from his father's grasp. Despite the fact that she was basically forced to bear Tatsu's father's children, she loved all of them and never wished any harm to befall them. The rest of her children weren't very strong and did not have to motivation to become ninja, but Tatsu's mother knew that he had what it took to save them.
However, Rei eventually broke down from the constant domestic abuse, finding it painful to even look at Tatsu because he reminded her of his father due to his Demonic Ancestry. One day, as she talked with her own mother over the phone about her trauma and recognized that she no longer had the mental stability to raise her son. She was startled by Tatsu's sudden appearance at the door, and after seeing Tatsu, she snapped and threw boiling water over the boy's face, burning him severely. Due to his Demonic Ancestry, Tatsu's injuries healed, with no permanent scarring.
Sometime after this incident, Tatsu asked his father where his mother was, to which his father replied that he sent her to the hospital for hurting him. Tatsu blamed his father, saying that it was his fault that his mother had hurt him. At some point later in his life, Tatsu would forget about his mother's supportive words, instead hearing the words of the demonic entity that manifested itself after all the trauma he had been through.
"What is it that you mostly desire?" The voice in his head asked.
"To kill my father." Tatsu replied.
"We are going to be good friends you and I. Together, we can make all your dreams a reality." The demon replied.
Tatsu chest begins to glow and he instinctively reaches in to pull out a sword with a chain link tassel at the end of the hilt. It was a dark grey sword with black accents and what looked to be a red eye near the hilt.
"My name is Akki and this is my physical form. Wield my power and together, we will be unstoppable." the demon said.
Tatsu's dark upbringing left him to focus on nothing but rejecting his father. He became cold and distant from other people, his sole purpose, to kill his father and free his mother from the hospital she was put in. He left his home, opting to live alone instead. His father left him to his own devices for a while as he knew that the boy had enough hatred in his heart to fuel his training on his own for the time being. During this time Tatsu would train hard. Nothing mattered to him more than becoming strong enough to defeat his father. When the time came, when he was at the age of 13, Tatsu enrolled in the academy.
