Moving in:
Incidents in her former residence has prompted Kurokawa to move to the Barracks. That and the fact that she was no longer an Academy student but now stepped out into the world a genin.
She had landed one of the two room areas so she had both a bedroom and a living room / dining room to work with. She also had a lot of furniture from her old place and the money she inherited from her mother and got from her guardians as they passed away.
The bedroom had been set up with help from local movers so it was usable though messy. The living room however had the mark of someone with too little space for too much stuff. The furniture had been carried in first but boxes upon boxes of everything from clothes to kitchen equipment had build itself into a fort in the apartment.
Over the course of the next couple of days Kurokawa would try to thin out the things she did not need and place everything somewhere. That included hanging shelves on the wall to put books and the likes on. She could not read in the traditional sence but she had learned a form of chakra ink reading technique which she used to read very slowly, and she enjoyed that. After about a week of work she finally had a home set up and she would use that to focus on learning how to cook. She never had to before and during the move she had made due with instant Ramen and going to restaurants. She found cook both easy and hard. It was a trial by error process where she would not be able to see if something was done or had gotten too much but with practice came the ability to smell when something was done.
After another week of instant ramen and failed cooking attempts she came to a point where she could be said to be a decent cook, at least for some dishes, and she could always branch out after that. Instant ramen was off the menu for at least the next month.
