Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Moving in:

Incidents in her former residence has prompted Kurokawa to move to the Barracks. That and the fact that she was no longer an Academy student but now stepped out into the world a genin.

She had landed one of the two room areas so she had both a bedroom and a living room / dining room to work with. She also had a lot of furniture from her old place and the money she inherited from her mother and got from her guardians as they passed away.

The bedroom had been set up with help from local movers so it was usable though messy. The living room however had the mark of someone with too little space for too much stuff. The furniture had been carried in first but boxes upon boxes of everything from clothes to kitchen equipment had build itself into a fort in the apartment.

Over the course of the next couple of days Kurokawa would try to thin out the things she did not need and place everything somewhere. That included hanging shelves on the wall to put books and the likes on. She could not read in the traditional sence but she had learned a form of chakra ink reading technique which she used to read very slowly, and she enjoyed that. After about a week of work she finally had a home set up and she would use that to focus on learning how to cook. She never had to before and during the move she had made due with instant Ramen and going to restaurants. She found cook both easy and hard. It was a trial by error process where she would not be able to see if something was done or had gotten too much but with practice came the ability to smell when something was done.

After another week of instant ramen and failed cooking attempts she came to a point where she could be said to be a decent cook, at least for some dishes, and she could always branch out after that. Instant ramen was off the menu for at least the next month.

Today started out nicely. Sun shining after a good nights rest warmed up her room and made it easier to get out of bed. The first needed to go shopping. No food in the house except what she had planned to eat for breakfast. She needed to make ready. She would soon be teleported out of here and onto the the exam grounds. She quickly went to marked to by food that would keep and something practical to have with her on the mission. Water bottles too. Her appetite and thirst levels had gone up since she got her new companion. Maybe the lack of fresh blood called for something from her own body that she needed to make up for with a more nutritious meal at least twice a day. She didn't complain though. Her strength had gone up considerably since then so carrying the extra food was a cakewalk.

After eating breakfast and getting supplies she packed up her bags and went for a quiet spot to wait for her summon. A green area she had been allowed to visit after she helped the owner clean it out. She passed the time training some throwing. Kunai and Shuriken made for a good past time activity. she would appear to challenge herself by turning her back to her target before throwing. Sight had nothing to do with it, all she needed was the right throwing technique. It could come in handy some day so she might as well give it a shot. Or twenty. All day intil she was summoned consisted of throw throw gather, throw throw gather rest and repeat. She didn't want to wear herself out in any way seeing as it was such an important day.

[OOC: No idea how the exam went but since last post here was right before the exam this one is right after and I assume that it got me upgraded.]
Getting home after a long day, was one thing but getting home after a trip to a different country was another. Kurokawa was exhausted but happy that she would not have to feel sand for a while. She like the feeling of sand in her hands and under her feet but in her shoes and everywhere else it could get in. Not a fan.

It took her half an hour just to get the last sand our of her hair after the trip and another half out to actually feel clean. Next on her list to visit was the Cloud but she would put that off for now. She needed to wait for the official paperwork to come through so that she was actually a Chunnin and after that she needed to complete some of the duties that came with the title. She would also have to hit the dojo and upgrade her gear. Not that she was a chunnin she needed weapons befitting such a title. Sh would soon go find some mission befitting her squad in the main branch. Money does not grow on trees and she would need them for the new shiny equipment

She decided to first go for the mission and wait with the weapons. What new adventures would meet her now? She could not tell. It could be boring gate duties or harsh defensive missions. She had not researched it yet. She could also go do some personal training but she knew that it did not pay.
