Beaten and broken Shin laid in the dirt as he looked up the edge of Kyoko's sword. This was not just a normal sparring lesson with Kyoko this was different Kyoko had bloodlust in her eyes as she gazed down at her little brother with a distant cold look about her. All Shin could do was gaze back he knew he could not let his sister fall into madness again and that is surely what would happen if she was to truly injure him or even kill him as may even be the case. As Shin gazed back with a focused looked not of hate but of confidence this only further angered Kyoko causing her to make unnecessary movements giving Shin the chance to make a quick hand seal to create an thin sheet of ice around him then detonating it as it formed hoping this was enough to through Kyoko back enough for him to get some distance from her.
As he hoped this knocked Kyoko back stunning her for a few seconds but that was just enough to make some distance from her. Shin knew he could not beat her in combat but he only hoped he could last long enough till she came back to the Kyoko he loved as his sister and not this rage filled beast like thing she was becoming like. With the time and distance gained Shin made a few more seals calling forth a thick fog to blanket the surrounding area as to hopefully give him a bit of a break from her constant attacks.
It was odd though Shin thought he seemed to be her only target almost like the world outside did not even exist. Hell Shin was not even sure of what was making her act this way as even Kyoko being violent by nature and having a quick temper this was far too extreme it seemed even for her. Shin was in all honest just glad Kyibi was at home today he would not want him to see all of this nor run the real chance of getting hurt.
He watched Kyoko now from a safer distance as she swung wildly in the fog at anything that she saw almost like a wild animal they had been cornered. This was cruel Shin never wanted to see anything like this in his life and for it to be his sister who he in truth admired more than anyone was truly devastating to him. He stayed hidden and watched her struggle and slowly start to tire out as she stumbled while still trying to slash at the air. After a while longer of his struggling she had started to reach the point of physical exhaustion and could not start nor swing the sword even as she still fought to do so.
In this time Shin could no longer stand to watch and came from behind Kyoko raising the back his sword and hitting her with a strong blunt force to the back of the head to render her unconscious. He had tears in his eyes as his sister fell limp to the ground finally silent as the aura of rage that had been emitting from her all this time faded away from her. As she laid face down in the dirt Shin felt he could sense a certain amount of peace resonating from his sister.
With this all finished Shin made sure to secure Kyoko and then take her back home he felt Hazuna may have some idea of what was going on with Kyoko.
