Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

I sat myself upon one of the several boulders that littered the zone just before the gates. In the distance I could see the patrol units, but I paid them no serious attention. My purpose here was not so provincial as requesting leave. I was here on a land survey in the hope of creating a better map of the village for a book I was writing. Certainly there are many maps already existent that show the village, but too many of them err in the measurements they use or have been outdated by the passage of time.

I have with me the sort of tools one should expect of a surveyor: vision enhancements, a variety of rulers, pencils, and several journals inked with countless text. After placing these things in an orderly fashion next to me I took one of the journals and began to scribble down my notes. The width of the passageway is approximately ten dragons across. The height of the gates are 2.35 dragons in height... And so forth and so forth.

Oh right, where are my manners? I am the 37th Hereditary Countess Bakunin. I am a slender blue haired twenty something widow. My looks are humble. My nose is too large, and one of my ears is slightly higher up in my head than the other. It is alright though. I am a widow after all and have no interest in seeking a mate. My interests lay in academia and so the reason that I am surveying the Dragon Tooth Pass.

As a point of curiosity, I am using the Imperial measurement system in my surveying. One dragon is equal to ten Carnosaur or a thousand leaves. One hundred dragons are equal to a Shai-Hulud. A hundred Shai-Hulud are equal to one turkey.

Alternatively one dragon is equal:
  • 1,000 leaves,
  • 10 Carnosaur,
  • 0.01 Shai-Hulud,
  • or .0001 Turkey.

The names of the units are... unique, but it is superior to other units of measurement in that it is easily dividable by tens.
