Tracking the man was like tailing a ghost. The silver blonde scientist that was trying his hardest to backtrack the missing renter’s activity was next to impossible.
For the last three to four hours Tama had questioned almost every single person living in the small apartments he was renting out to retain some since of humanity in his ever changing mind and body. However the reason he was about looking for some man was a little weird, even for him. The man he was after was a man who had basically been squatting and owed quite a bit of back rent; to the point that even the cheap apartment owners were willing to pay a bounty.
That bounty was the only reason the scientist was out here. He could still use the Yen to start putting back money towards a savings that had “mysteriously” disappeared in his absence. Yet the more he asked around and searched the more likely it seemed that the man had high-tailed it out of Suna, except that the guards at the gates reported little more than their usual traffic. Nothing the neighbors said gave him any clues except that the guy had long blue hair and a strange tattoo on his chest. The very thought of that one clue alone made the scientist reach a hand up to his chest to press against the mark of his clan. There was the stray hope that whoever this man was it was also a clue to what was happening with the Ryuu Clan in his absence.
About six hours of continuous search later Tama decided to call it a day. He perched on the edge of a caved in roof down deep within the caverns when a flash of light blue reflected off someone’s head via a dim street lamp. With barely a flicker of movement his shinobi training kicked in and pushed against the roof with a silent pulse of chakra to launch him down to the street. His feet touched down as if he glided and slowly began to walk towards the blue haired individual but not close enough for him to be noticed. He kept his silence for some twenty minutes before the young man found himself at a dead end.
“Strange,” Tama quipped suddenly making the young man jump and spin to face the old man stalking him, “It’s not easy to sense my presence unless you have the proper training. The tone of your muscles say you train but lack the talent.”
Without a word or even a gesture towards violence the cerulean haired man shifted chakra to his eyes and woke up the Sharingan hiding inside but before he could even recognize the deadly aura of the old man Tama was on him. A straightened hand full of viscous blackened electricity penetrated the wall behind the man; his face was full of nothing but absolute terror. The blood red orbs graced by little wheels shifted to stare up at the giant of an elder. He lived fear of the day that this man would find him and it had come far sooner than he had hoped for...the sword he needed hadn’t even been found yet.
Expecting full oncoming death the little Ryuu felt a euphoric rush of ease flow through him when the pre-Ancient leaned down and whispered a small thing before releasing the black chakra and turning to walk away.
“Please pay your damn rent.”
