Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was once more that time in Leaf, celebrations would be in full swing and everyone from every village and part of the country would be flocking into the Village. Once more it was time for the second student tournament Leaf would hold to be underway, this time it was opened slightly more to those that wanted to push themselves that had something to prove. The signups had been vetted and checked over and with everything in order with that done the date had been set and that day was finally here. With people entering into the village since the very first light breaking over the trees it seemed that people were looking forward to the tournament that had been announced.

The renovation had taken place on the arena to bring it back to the high standard it stood in within the village. It was clear that each step of the way had been carefully considered and planned with higherups of tLeaf to make sure that everything that Leaf had to offer was completely on display. It had taken months of preparation to ensure that everything was just right for the situation, and even now they had only just finished the checks and finally, the arena was completed, the huge walls circled the battlegrounds. Grass and trees stood all around and against the wall on the north side stood a pond of water that had been created to allow those that found fondness of water to fight with their full potential. Standing in silence that would soon change.

At the south side stood a small box, though this box would seat those of importance inside of the village, at the rest of the tournament it would hold the representatives of each branch to allow them to have a full view of the fights taking place. It would allow them to spot any potential candidates that they wished to recruit and would allow them to be able to make offers to those at the end of the tournament. While recruitment or offers were off the table until the end, they would be able to see each person that participated in the tournament and how well that they handled themselves inside of the battlefield.

Tickets had been selling for months for this event in advance, and even those that had managed to get into the finals had only done so by a raffle that they had been entered into. The prices rocketed as expected and the revenue that such an event would generate covered the cost of the repairs, the banners that had gone up around the streets as well as the stools, traders, gifts and stands that had gone up. It was safe to say that the streets of Konaha were packed and the hustle and bustle of work and noise once more resonated around the village. Everyone was prepared for today and the start of the tournament, with side bets taking place on who would win as well it seemed even the Casion were making money from the tournament.

The smell of food being put onto cook was wafting through the streets of Leaf, as the sounds of pots and pans being clanked against grills echoed down small streets of the Oak district to the sounds of the posher restaurants and food of the mapal district the hustle and bustle was everywhere, posters of the competitors fluttered gently around the village posted up to let those know who had entered, as well as invitations to come and watch the tournament. It had been advertised for weeks now and seemed all of that progress was paying off.

Stools stood around the arena, selling flags, banners, even the fake headbands of different villages, it seemed that they were supporting everyone that had come to the event and wanted to show the village appreciated every single other village that had stood by them. Though of course, everything around an event like this was all about giving the locals the opportunity to sell and make sure that they were giving off the best look for the village for anyone that came here. After all, this was an opportunity to show off what the village could do when hosting others.

As people got prepared, the Hokage box was guarded by two Main Branch Jounin who didn't move from their station at the entrance to the Hokage Box. The only way inside was by direct invitation fo the Hokage, and security for this entire event had been set up and maintained by the Main Branch Sennin who seemed to want to make sure there was no possibility of anything happen. Dotted around the seats as well towards the front of the arena where a few Main Branch Shinobi as well their duty to make sure the crowd behaved themselves and didn't act out.

The gate guards had been upped and it seemed like during the event people were pulling double time to make sure no-one slipped past the nets, with the wrong intentions, this was the same for each district with patrols going around and checking in on people and just interacting with people trying to show a constant presence rather than being in the shadows like previous times. They wanted to enjoy the tournament as much as anyone else and just showing an active presence inside of the village during this time.

The last people to arrive at the stadium where the Main Branch guards that stood by the entranceway to the arena itself, a few medical Shinobi had been acquired from the Medical Branch to assist in any situation that required them to be there after all this was a showcase a tournament and not a death fight. The entranceway would be loud as the stadium would have the echos of thousands of people talking to each other as the fighters walked inside it resonated the sounds to the opening of the arena. Each one of the combatants would have to calm themselves.

With all the preparation it was time for the tournament to finally start, for visitors to come to the village, and for fun to be had by everyone inside and outside of this event.

So many people he knew were into this... So many... and he felt somewhat like an idiot for staying out of it.. BUt on the other hand, it felt like too much trouble to even participate. On that account, he would lean on the railing at the best possible spot. He would watch them all if that were to be possible.
"Would be funny if he lost that arm again..." He muttered and grinned to himself, before looking over to sumiko. "Perhaps not... I rather not have a fight in the house again... Then there is shun fighting... Wonder how he cracks a punch, unlike the last exam..." He would pick a smoke and look to see how everything would go.
