Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The arena was huge and misleading. After the White Wolf had parted ways with the boy he took to trying to find out where he needed to go to watch the match he had been excited about since arriving. The ushers whom he asked around claimed that the fight was already underway and he might have missed it. The tan teenager's heart sank a little but the demonic Id in his mind poked his legs forward regardless. Before long he was walking without realizing it. It had been a stressful day, he argued with himself, and he was thinking about maybe waiting for the next clan member's bout since apparently their new leader was one of the many fights going on.
The demonic Id poked him again making him walk faster. With a sigh the boy pushed on.

After about five minutes in he finally righted his way around. It seemed the best advice anyone could have given him was follow the sound of screams and not a single person had dropped such wisdom. Once he followed the loud sounds enough he found a large arc that lead out into the sunlight. He stepped out into the warmth, looking for an empty seat in the stands to take his place and get a better look. As he sat down, before he even got a good look, he felt power exploding from the Arena. His face snapped forward and the boy's eyes drank in the scene greedily as he watched Kyuji display her fighting prowess against the older man. He had missed a good portion of the fight it seemed as the ground and fighers both looked like they had been fighting for a few minutes but only the older gent looked weary. His cousin looked like she was holding her head up proudly as the attacks pressed on.
The boy sat there and slowly crossed his arms in wonder, watching and noting the techniques being used and learning first hand how a real fight between two shinobi would look. Unfortunately for Michino he would get a closer taste of this later once he would return to Suna, but that was for another time.

The opening ceremonies were long since passed and the World Martial Arts Tournament was well underway as the assistant to Byakko Kyuji on this journey had taken her seat in the arena a short time prior to the combatants making their way into the arena and beginning their bout with one another. Since they had begun however, this fight had been somewhat one-sided in many aspects as her friend seemed to be taking her good old time disposing of our opponent in part due to the elder shinobi using many defensive techniques to protect himself from damage and also making it quite difficult for the descendant of the celestial beast, Byakko, to find him. Seeing as the Aikayume young woman had some basic shinobi training in her background, she was not entirely surprised that someone would try to put up a good guard especially when their opponent continually was trying to land blows without even a small break in between. Thankfully, Byakko Kyuji had managed to do significant damage against her opponent thus far, but fatigue was starting to roll in as both shinobi appeared to be breathing heavier and there had been a lot of blood spilled thus far on the battlefield. It would appear that they would not be able to keep going for much longer before one of them collapsed due to exhaustion or worse, they burned their chakra circuits out by trying to go overboard.

Nevertheless, they continued on fighting as a stranger would sit beside Hinoka, who was wearing more casual clothes than she had been a day or so ago when her friend and herself met with the 9th and 10th Kazekage along with the other two combatants in this tournament of which one was her cousin, Azusa. On that day, she had been wearing more robes and formal attire unlike today where she was simple wearing a white blouse with a short black jacket on top of it with black leggings and black high-heels. All of this was begging for attention it would appear, but Hinoka had decided on this attire well in advance of everything that had transpired in this country thus far. In any case with her pink hair and orange eyes, she would turn towards the stranger who sat down and speak to him with a smirk on her face: "You have been missing a great fight thus far. Kyuji has really been holding her own against this shinobi from the Hidden Stone and I am happy that she is because she had many doubts prior to entering the arena today. As she was met at our room, I could tell that her nerves were getting the best of her, but it appears all of that has subsided once she drew her sword."

As she finished speaking, she would turn her attention back to the arena as it appeared the two combatants were getting ready to clash again as her friend and her god stood beside one another looking at the shinobi from the foreign village and plotting their next few moves together. It was certainly interesting to see Byakko Kyuji fighting in general, but it was a special treat to see her lord appearing beside her in his incorporeal form ready to assist as needed. If there was anything one could say about this fight thus far, it was that it was interesting but there was still so much left from both combatants and many tricks would likely surface and throw more curve balls into the fight. Hopefully though, they would not push their limits too far to the point that one of them would be hospitalized for the remainder of the tournament. But, only time would tell.

Yugen stood before one of the massive entrances to the arena where, apparently, a world martial arts tournament between all of the great ninja villages was being held. The only fights Yugen had ever seen had been between he and his former master during their sparring sessions. All of the other fights had been against brigands or scavengers, never anyone of true skill. Thus, Yugen had made haste to arrive at Tea Country in time for the first round of fights to start. Unfortunately, Yugen had no experience in this foreign land, and knew nothing about it's people. To be fair he knew nothing about most people, other than his master who Yugen considered to be an exception.

Yugen wandered around the arena for quite some time. Occasionally he would hear what sounded like explosions coming from the arena grounds, along with the loud boisterous cheers of the onlookers in the stands. Eventually he decided that he did not want to waste anymore time searching for the perfect seat, and turned down the nearest tunnel-like entrance on his left. He walked out of the dark tunnel to the bright midday sunlight and walked until he spotted an open seat. A pink-haired woman, with what appeared to be fox-ears, was seated beside a man with canine features.

What a strange country Yugen thought to himself as he headed towards the open seat next to the pink haired female. Yugen approached the woman and motioned towards the spot beside her before asking: "Pardon, is anyone sitting here?" Unless she confirmed that the seat was taken he would then sit beside her.

Yugen looked on as two nameless, at least to Yugen, shinobi fought with an awe inspiring intensity. One Yugen had never seen before. How he yearned to test his metal like the two shinobi in the center of the arena. It was too bad he found out about this tournament at such a late time. Yugen turned his attention towards the two individuals to his left.

"Do either of you know the names and affiliations of the two fighters below? I only recently arrived and was in such a hurry to get here that I did not have the chance to find out about today's fights."<i></i>

The boy was enthralled watching the woman fight in the field below. His heart felt like it was beating in time with her attacks sometimes as she continuously rained down blow after blow. The excitement had gotten to a point that he was on the edge of his seat with his hands clutched together just under his chin. The demonkin's blue eyes were wide in witnessing the spectacle laid before him. It was so much so that he did little notice the woman who came to sit down next to him until she spoke up.
Michino jumped, jerked out of his focus, and turned to face the feminine voice that graced his ears through the roars of the crowd. As if on que the demonic Id inside of his head seemed to take control over his eyes and panned his vision up and down. Quickly he slapped his hands over his eyes to a frustrated growl echoing painfully in his brain when they starting to wonder past her waist. Embarrassed the Toraono turned and moved his hand away from his vision when he heard the sound of battle again.
"She's absolutely amazing. I suppose I don't get out of the Dojo enough but I've never seen someone fight with such ferocity..." Slowly his attention got drawn back into the fight again as his hands clasped together once more and slowly bring them back up to his chin when he caught the last bit of Hinoka's sentence,
"Nervous? Really? She sure doesn't seem so nervous now," Michino said as he dared to turn his head and look over back at the female sitting next to him. Thankfully he didn't have to worry about the embarrassment of his annoying brain demon to make him look at things he didn't want to as another male seemed to be approaching them. The boy shook his head at his question of seating arrangement and held his hand aloft of the free seats near them,
"By all means. I'm not sure on her opponent but the fierce tigress down there is Kyuji, my cousin, of the Byakko Clan from Suna."

The older shinobi then lept upon one of the stone dragons moving about the arena to the roar of the crowd. The teenager turned his attention immediatly back to the fight in time to watch his cousin attack. His heart was racing for her victory as his eyes followed her every move. If there was anything he really wanted out of this fight was some tips and tricks of the top brass. He wasn't exactly the greatest of shinobi and it had taken a lot of courage to even place himself in a crowd this large knowing how much of an ass the demon possessing him could be.

As the fight continued on below them, Aikayume Hinoka would somehow become situated between two male individuals who likely had been attracted to her appearance since she had chosen such a short skirt to wear on this day that elegantly showed her flawless legs on this beautiful day. Of course, the more likely explanation for why they chose to sit near her was the fact that there was a lot of seating available at this part of the arena and they wanted to get a nice view of the grounds where her friend continually was duking it out with this elderly man who was truly holding his own in the fight. Unfortunately though, she could see on her friend's face that this fight was going on too long as Kyuji seemed to be getting heavier with her steps and becoming more sloppier the longer this fight continued almost like she was was fighting on borrowed time as the fight continued on.

Nevertheless, she would listen to the two men on either side of her talking about the contestants in the fight and hear the cousin of Byakko Kyuji praise her friend saying that she was amazing. Honestly, she could not disagree with him as the descendant of Byakko certainly was holding her own in this fight against a shinobi that she had no information on nor knew how he enjoyed to fight. Of course even from the average shinobi's eyes, one could notice that Kyuji had certainly had some slip-ups in this fight thus far and would need to learn from it when all was said and done regardless of the outcome. But, she appeared to be winning this contest thus far from the looks of it, but looks could always be deceiving!

In any case, the cousin of other competitor in this tournament would speak up when the boys had finished their miniature conversation. "She certainly is amazing especially fighting against someone from her former home of the Hidden Stone. One has to assume that she still has some feelings deep down inside of her from when she used to live there like her parents, her friends, or her village in general. I know she mentioned that she wants to visit Earth Country again as soon as she can, but if she doesn't watch her mouth while she is fighting down there, she is going to get herself in hot water when she does eventually venture there. Regardless, I can tell that both of them are running on fumes at this point, but Kyuji still has the upper-hand thus far, but we all know how battles can go sometimes" she would explain to the two of them as they continued to sit and watch the action unfolding in front of them.

Some of the action that they likely would have seen from when they all were situated to now was the Stone shinobi's summon poofing after being given a fatal blow, some more defensive techniques from the shinobi, and Kyuji getting slowly more and more irritated with this game of cat and mouse. However, they also would clearly see a giant white ball of flames above the arena seeming to intensify and slowly making its way back down to the battlefield. If that hit, things were certainly going to be interesting after the dust settled.

The fight between these two legendary shinobi from their respective villages would continue to go back and forth for a little bit more time. However, it was after something caught the eyes of Miki in the crowd that the elder shinobi would state that he was forfeiting the match because there was something more important for him to attend to which was understandable. It would have been nice to have known exactly what was so important to stop his fight with the descendant of Byakko and Hinoka's friend, but he would excuse himself leaving her friend in the arena by herself with the crowd around them erupting in cheers, jeers and everything in-between. With the contest over, it was about time for Hinoka to head out herself and celebrate with her friend with drinks and food and the festivities around the tournament.

Thus, she would rise from her position in the arena seating and bow to the two men that had decided to speak with her and keep her company throughout the contest. It was only after this that she would speak to the one of them: "Cousin of Byakko Kyuji, I hope to see you again when she fights next round. Make sure to visit her after the tournament is over and I am sure that she would love to talk to you about what you saw and what you thought she could improve upon." Once finished, she would scoot her way by them and head out of the arena and likely back to where she was staying during the duration of the trip. It was likely that Kyuji would arrive moments after she did and likely crash into her own bed due to the excitement and stresses of the first round of the tournament. However, only time would tell.
