Katsuro had never really stepped foot near the temples of the old Gods; something he hadn’t done for a long time now. He felt weird going there but he knew he was missing out on some much of the village. He just hated what the village believed in. The Shamans were most definitely fake and the Guardians were just a way to keep people quiet. Only proven methods of healing (and maybe some miracles from a certain water spirit) instead of ritual sacrifice and using something like “energy.” It just seemed so dumb that people still believed that kind of stuff anyway. It made him feel calm that he was so certain that they didn’t really exist and that he could rely on his own abilities.
Exploring the culture was always interesting and when Katsuro came across the university his eyes lit up brightly. His green irises looked at the amazing architecture of the building, which made him want to visit it some more. He felt buzzed by the idea that he could go and learn some new things about the village but he was concerned that he was going to be too wired in his brain to look at everything all at once.
He walked in and decided to take a browse at all the different kinds of literature from the history of Stone to all the weird religious stuff that it had been following for a long time. He even saw a book about other sub areas of the village that people don’t often dwell to visit and they usually don’t come up to the village. He wondered why there hadn’t been much connection between the two groups and maybe it was a good idea to find out more about Arcadia. He did also find some interesting articles about first kind encounters to phoenixes and the nangs. These were the kind of books that he found interest in.
As the Mednin looked around he saw a book that had been worn by use. It was on a native language of Stone called Bohemian with common tongue translations and the way it’s pronounced. He found it interesting to see that it was so worn from use when no one he knew spoke the language. He decided to decode it slowly, using the crystal eye jutsu to help him focus on words; spending his chakra mastery over ninjutsu to help him read through it clearly.
He would read a line and then repeat it a few times before trying to use it in context. He would move on to the next sentence and learn how to phrase things and how more about the way things join together. He felt positive from the constant practice.
Over the course of a week Katsuro had started to pick up Bohemian really well but he could understand why the book was so worn. The Mednin had to keep going back to old pages and rereading passages again. It seemed to be sticking a little bit.
” Myslím, že jsem to“ he said excitedly before reading a bit more of the book for the day. His diligence and hard work made him feel a little more motivated to train constantly to get better at being a shinobi. Life was getting better for the Jinchuuriki and even though the gods were never really smiling on him; not resenting them helped him learn a new language.
