Hayate was excited. This was his first mission from the big boss. Well the biggest boss Kenshin. Alpha Fenrir ordered him to do it. He had a message to deliver that he did. To a person called.. oh what was it. Yoki? Komi? No no Yomi yes. Yomi in the clouds... with the clouds? Yes yes. With the clouds.

So Hayate would prance up to the Leaf guard on duty a paper attached to his collar. On the other side of his neck he had a little passport signed by Kenshin and had his paw print on it. He would wait in line but he would occasionally get up and turn in a circle before sitting again.

When it was his turn (finally!) he would present the pawprint passport with a playful bark.
"I go to cloud to deliver letter! Yes I must go. First mission. Very excite. Going to place in Clouds." he would say wagging his tail a lot. He would wait while the guard looked at everything!

[Maikeru]

Gate duty. Not anyone's favorite job, but a job that everyone had to rotate through regardless. Sitting in the booth, his feet kicked up on the counter in front of him, Maikeru barely noticed the dog that sat patiently in front of him. Cocking his head, he moved out from the booth to crouch in front of the dog, giving him a few pets behind his heard, before moving down to pet his neck.

"Well aren't you a good boy." He said, taking the passport that was inside of his collar. "One of Kenshin-samas summons huh. Well, everything looks in order here with me."

Maikeru took one of his rations out of his pouch, a piece of dried jerky, and gave it to the dog as a treat, before patting him on the head.

"Open the gate!" He yelled behind him, "Kenshin-sama is sending one of his summons to cloud to deliver a message."

The wooden gate doors began to creak open as the operators got to work, and Maikeru gave a small whistle to the dog, before cocking his heard towards the now open road.

Hayate let out a bark after getting a nice little treat. Oh he liked his guard very much. Hopefully he would have treat when he came back.

He began to trot out of the village and as soon as he was past the gate he was off! Oh to be free and run! Alpha and bigger Alpha let him run to practice but now he could do it as much as he wanted so long as he ran towards this Yomi of clouds.

Yes yes it would be fun. He would have to pace himself like bigger Alpha Kenshin said. Yes yes. Pace but have fun.

He might have been distracted by a butterfly for a solid 5 minutes but Hayate eventually got back on the path and started to head towards Cloud to deliver his message
