The overcast of clouds hung over the village, unloading droplets of cold rain. Everyone seemed to have been prepared for this type or weather, all except for Shimamura Yosuke. He came to school in the same inattentive and half asleep manner, but something was different about him. It was obvious to Shizuka that he had something planned. As soon as he came in that morning, in his tired state he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and said, “You won’t believe what I have planned for later Shizu,” His eyes sparkled with excitement. But whenever she would ask him about it he would change the subject, yawn, or act like he was asleep. Sometimes actually falling asleep.
But when they were finally dismissed he jumped from his seat, rubbing the sleepiness from his eyes, and he was finally free. “Shizuka, be ready, I’ll be at your house in a few hours.” Ready to rush past his friend, he caught a glimpse of lightning from his peripheral vision and groaned. The boy forgot to take an umbrella to school, and now he had to run home under freezing cold rain. When he got home he waited until the rain cooled down to a light drizzle and prepared to meet up with his friends. Oushi probably had no clue he was going to get dragged into it either, Yosuke would’ve told him, but he wasn’t in the same class as the other two.
So when the clock struck six in the afternoon, and the sun was slowly falling over the horizon, Yosuke walked out of the front door letting his Uncle know he would be hanging out with Shizuka. His Uncle nodded, giving him more leeway after getting to know the ‘Senju Girl’ as he called her. First things first he’ll sneak to the Academy grounds and knock on the window to Oushi’s room, in the Academy Dormitory. He walked through the streets with his hands in his pockets, day dreaming the whole way there. But snapped back to reality when he reached the gates, running off to the side and climbing over the wall adjacent to the dormitories. He hid behind some bushes, until a group of teachers walked pass. When the coast was clear, he snuck out of the bushes, and rushed up the dorm wall. He peeked through windows, trying to find which belonged to the boy and luckily found him with ease in his room. He tapped at the window and waved.
“Oushi! It’s me,” He had a big cheesy smile and waited until he opened the window. When he did he barged in without permission. Dusting himself off, he took this time to inspect the room. “Huh, it surprisingly smells good in here. No offense,”
He plopped himself on his bed and laid back looking up at the ceiling, “How does it feel to live where they teach everyone? Must be real boring,” He puffed his cheeks out and looked at the purple haired boy. “Get ready! We’re gonna go training. Hurry up too, Shizuka is waiting for us.”
