Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kanmuri traveled around in his white shorts and black t-shirt, which had white markings on it, while looking intently at the tattoo on his right hand. To the vast majority of people and shinobi, the tattoo looked like nothing more than what it was a face value, a tattoo. However, that couldn't be further from the truth. The tattoo was in fact a cover-up for the power that was held within. A power that was currently incomplete. With a sigh, the eight year continue jogging through the streets of Kuroawa thinking Father told me that this power would be useful, but apparently it's incomplete? So he's sent me on two missions now-both require me to look for specific people. The eight year old ran his hand through his messy white hair in frustration before recollecting his thoughts. Not only is this power incomplete, but I have no idea how to use it! I didn't even bother to ask!

The amount of thoughts in the scarlet-eyed boy's head was too much for him to handle at the moment, but he needed to succeed in this mission-both for his father and for himself. The humidity in the air would force the young boy to stop for a second to catch his breath. Unknown to him, there would be a subtle pervading feeling of death spreading throughout the area he was in. It wasn't strong enough to catch the attention of people, but those sensitive to chakra noticing subtle changes in their environment would definitely take notice of the "new" feeling in the air.

Kiri lit a cig as he tried to calm himself. The recent escapade in Tea had him getting caught up with some toxin trouble but he was a lot better now. Still, it didn’t change the fact that he was, for a brief moment, unable to control his chakra pulse. Thankfully, things went according to plan and with the help of a few newly made acquaintances, he managed. Still, he was now waiting for the tournament to start in Kurosawa, and he was getting bored. He knew he should have brought along a report or two to work on.

As he calmly sat on a park bench, he would suddenly raise his head as if he sense a strange chakra in the air. He would calmly glance about to try and find the source. He could tell that there was a sudden change on its nature, almost as if equally aware of him and is trying to hide. He smiled at the thought and lowered his gaze to his hand. He would hold onto his cig as he opened up his freshly bought taiyaki from its paper wrapper and begin to eat. Whoever it was he felt would just eventually fade, he hoped. Otherwise, he might find himself in a difficult situation.

As the eight-year old stopped to catch his breath, memories began to flood his mind. Everyday, he'd be tortured under the premise of "training". Almost everyday the now white-haired boy was forced to carry slabs of rocks on his back while walking barefoot across the scorching hot dunes of Sunagakure. The heat of the sand would peel the skin of his feet, while the force the force of the rock would often times force his skin to tear. Day after day, the body of the boy would be forced to bend and contort, but the body of the boy refused to break. In what seemed to be defiance from the boy's body, the wounds and tears of the boy would path itself back together and rapidly heal itself when the boy slept. Sometimes, if the injuries he was sustaining were too much, Kanmuri's body would repair itself in the midst of its injuries. Though, this torture hidden under the disguise of training was the best kind of torture he could ever dream of asking for because those Kyoujoran...did some really despicable things.

Upon having these memories flood his head, the scarlet-eyed boy clenched his fists, and thought I promised dad that I'm going to live for him, and not myself, but I wonder...just how long. The veins in Kanmuri's arms began to bulge as the demonic enzymes inside of him began to roar and fill his body with a euphoric feeling. ...how long can I keep my anger and hate for them under control?! If I had the strenght I'd slaughter them all! These thoughts by the demon boy would be the spark that lit the flame within him. Unknown to Kanmuri, his demonic aura was fully unleashing and the atmosphere quickly became very heavy and dread-filled. Even though it was early in the day, the sun was shining strong and there was a sense of happiness in the air, but as soon as the aura began to spread, that happiness quickly evaporated into what others would most likely feel as fear. There was now a feeling of darkness and palpable danger in the air. The source of this would be unknown to the great majority, but a few talented shinobi would have been able to trace this change in atmosphere back to the boy.

As the enzymes began to race through every vein and chakra network in his body, the boy's right hand began to throb both painfully and forcefully. The fox tattoo began to burn with a fire that seemed to be eating away at his flesh and bone. The pain of hundreds of ants repeatedly biting him and tearing away at his flesh was enough to force the boy to the ground. In addition to this, the burn of the seal was exponentially increasing in terms of heat and its burning sensation. If the civilians around him weren't scared before, then the next set of events would definitely put them on edge.

Clenching his right wrist and unable to hide the pain, the eight year-old boy screamed, "AAARRRGGHHHH!" With the scream, the aura would only intensify, and it became painfully clear that something was amiss with the boy. The pain was quickly spreading up the entire right arm of the boy while the right hand of the boy itself quickly became covered in what seemed to be black, oily tar. It seemed to be leaking out of the tattoo seal on his arm, but the tattoo looked perfectly fine. The right arm and hand of Kanmuri unfortunately did not. The black tar began to quickly move further up on the arm until it was eventually up to the elbow. He didn't know how much time he had left until his body was consumed by this tar-like substance, but he didn't want to find out what happened when his time ran out.

Silent as he was, soon enough Kiri would feel that distinct nostalgic aura in the air. It didn’t take long for him to find that source. His eyes bore towards a boy who was frozen on where he stood. The aura that leaked from him was very identical, almost giving him a nostalgic feel. But soon enough, his brows furrowed as the power that was welling up from within the boy would suddenly surge in a scream. People about would be panicking at the sudden change of atmosphere, some fearful while others depresses, and still others trying to make sense of this dangerous feeling.

At once, Kiri stood up and snapped shut his book. A weave of his hand and a poof on his side would create an identical copy of himself, save for a nerdy facial expression complete with a pair of two large glasses. “Get the people to safety,” Kiri would tell his medical assistant clone, to which the other lazily nodded in response before running about to shoo away onlookers. At the same time, Kiri approached the boy, feeling the ever consuming and harrowing aura that continued to emerge. He wondered, for a moment, if this was how he looked like when he had the same experience before. Oh well, he wouldn’t really know.

As he was finally an arm’s reach away, he Kiri let out his own chakra pulse to make his presence known. Two cursed chakras seemingly trying to eat away at each other, but he was more in control of his and was far from showing his true potential. A heavy hand would land on the boy’s as he spoke, “Hey, that’s too much. Are you trying to kill yourself?” asked Kiri as he eyed the tar-like substance slowly manifesting and encroaching the boy’s arm and body. At once, he knew the situation was delicate.

“Well, I guess you can’t help it,” He said as he let out a sudden release of his chakra that would engulf them in a dome of darkness. Now freed from the prying eyes of the onlookers, Kiri held the boy and would let out another stream of his chakra to encase him in a water-like prison infused with calming properties. Should it succeed, it would somehow slow the tar-like substance. If not, then Kiri would have to beat the crap out of this little brat.

However, he would first notice the peculiar chakra pulse that was exuding from the boy and immediately knew what it was. It was too dangerous for the boy to be in that state and he saw the source of the curse. An incomplete one. Clicking his tongue, Kiri knew he needed to intervene, whether the boy wanted it or not. Thus, despite imprisoning the boy in this water-like prison, Kiri shot through a different stream of chakra into the boy, etching upon the incomplete seal. It would scorch against the skin but no sooner would it begin to suck away the energy that was corrupting the boy so wildly. Right until every bit of the tar was seemingly vacuumed. A golden shine embeds itself on the once incomplete seal, now complete with pillar-like patterns seemingly caging it within.

Then the shadow dome broke apart to release them once more.

The pain in Kanmuri’s arm quickly spiked before his vision blurred and whistles blew in his ears. Unable to handle the pain, Kanmuri’s body helplessly succumbed to the tar as the demonic child went into shock. The story of his life had ended in such a terrible way. He’d die without changing the world and evil within it...or so he thought

The last thing the boy would see was a white haired man tall in stature making his way toward him. However, darkness consumed the scarlet eyes of Kanmuri as his body collapsed.

What seemed like a few seconds after going out a commission, Kanmuri awoke to see the same man he previously saw injecting his chakra into Kanmuri’s arm. The tar like substance had consumed his entire right arm up to his chest, but there was no more exaggerated pain. All he could feel was a slight burning sensation as the man seemed to be trying to alter the source of the problem, his tattoo.

Looking around him, Kanmuri was surprised to see his surroundings be a water like prison. He couldn’t see his surroundings but he knew he hadn’t moved from where he incident started due to the concrete beneath him being the same. He waited patiently and looked in awe as the tar like substance was sucked away.

There was a golden shine on his tattoo and the previous design of the fox had been changed in a way where the previous fox design were behind cage-like pillars. It would then glow golden before the shadow, water-like barrier disappeared. Despite, receiving help for the man. Kanmuri was in a rush and couldn’t waste time. He thanked the man for his help and sprinted away all whilst looking at his tattoo.
