A letter arrived to Oyochi about a mission dealing with children and adolescence going missing from around the Temple of Five area. Although he wouldn’t be the only one on the investigation he would be playing a vital role as the eyes and ears to finding out the mystery behind where the missing persons had gone. For the initial briefing he’d be meeting with a Detective Chikanatsu at a location close to the Temple. Chikanatsu Masutaro’s general description had been given along with a time to meet in the afternoon.
The man waited occasionally taking glances down the street gazing up the street at the Temple of Five in the distance. Looking at the temple had him turning over thoughts of the plan. To be honest he didn’t like it. The suggestion to send in someone around the age of the missing children and teenagers could possibly put the person at risk. They weren’t sure exactly what would be happening to the person and in truth he didn’t like the feeling of using someone who could be bait. Granted if he and other went in and started asking people questions and investigating it would raise suspicion possibly and whatever leads they did have would probably get cold pretty quick.
The age of the people disappearing was well out of his age bracket by a few decades, talking to people around that age was difficult at best for Chikanatsu he thought stroking his chin. Although he wasn’t really referred to as an ‘old man’ he didn’t like talking to kids that much. They seemed to think he was constantly barking orders at them. It couldn’t be helped though for the job. He hadn't seen anyone suspicious in the area and this person that would be assisting him would show up in the next thirty minutes to an hour if they were running late. He exhaled slowly rubbing his eyes wondering what he was going to be getting himself and the other person into.
