When warmed up to, she can come off as hot-headed, dramatic, and self-loathing, but this is only because she has never felt acknowledged, befriended, or joyful for a while.
History: Mae lived, and still lives in the hidden leaf village, with her semi-nuclear family. She came from a boring, lifeless upbringing of neglect, and dismissal. Her parents focused on her brother for most of her life, and for a while, Mae thought that this was normal. But after walking past so many encouraging and happy families while shopping for food, she soon realised that her family was indeed ignoring her completely. She cried in her room every night after that realisation. She looked up at the moon, seeking its solitude and compassion. At least up there, she would be noticed. And not just by her parents, but everyone. She would be noticed by those who were not, and give them strength, and courage. The will to go on. And she would empower those who fall ignorant to that of her case. Now, she trains day in day out, to be the best genin she can be, to finally impress her parents and those surrounding her.
