Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Quick Character Description:

Amori is a very lean and muscular man, as you would expect given that he has trained with heavy swords from a very young age. He is often seen wearing a chest plate with no undershirt with some brown straps around his biceps. He wears trousers and boots; simple. If he is seen out of his usual wears, it would be a unique tunic outfit that still compliments his large frame. (See character image, I'm not particularly motivated for the description stuff) And the emotional side of Amori is touched upon at the bottom of the history.

Character History:

Enomoto Amori was born into a small family, fairly poor, but that wasn't a large factor in their daily lives; they were bound to each other emotionally and that's all that mattered. He was always a meek boy that admired his other brothers, Emon and Koja, whom both were well versed in the arts of combat. Koja and Emon were both largely more experienced, and older, than their little brother and thus were accepted into the ranks of the King's army. However, they were both killed on separate occasions during battles of unknown reason. It was a tradition for those who lived in the Ryōiki to swear their oath to their one true king, the regent protector of their lands - such a thing was taught to these children at a young age to aspire to do.

When Amori was old enough, he said his farewell to his family, and followed his brothers' path and became a soldier in the King's army; completely undeterred by their deaths. He excelled in battle, soon he was promoted to captain of a small patrol squad which protected the boarders of the Ryōiki from the Hidden Villages. After one occasion, and a long list list of tasteful medals, Amori was promoted to Royal Guard to the King. He had only turned 19 and yet this young lad held such a prestigious position. One day, a young child from the north arrived in the Ryōiki, stumbling around in the deeply rich forests in-search for help, and he had found that help. When the boy was picked up the by the 21st Patrol Guard, he was brought before the Court of Magistrates to be punished for trespassing. Not the help he was looking for, mind you.

Amori had attended the trial and used his name, his reputation, in favour of the boy for his sin to be washed clean. The Court heard their valiant warrior and, for this one time, wavered the crime from his name. After that, Amori took a liking to the boy and they soon became friends and then, finally, master and apprentice. The Royal Knight showed the boy who hailed from Kaze no Kuni his blade, Rījentofurawā, a beautifully simple yet utterly delightful looking weapon. He told the boy of when owner and sword became one. One night, while patrolling the borders, Amori and his men of the 18th Patrol Squad were ambushed by men of a Hidden Village, they bore the simple of 'Kirigakure' upon their heads. Most of the squad died, but not Amori no, he survived thanks to his blade and its new-found name. On the edge of death, Rījentofurawā spoke out to its master and promised to save his life. The rest, well, you can guess what happened after they befriended each other.

The young boy, Hatteken, trained everyday with his master in the arts of swordplay. They became like father and son and both couldn't have been happier. When Amori turned 24, he was anointed with the title of Royal Bodyguard to the Grand King himself. His duties were solely down to protecting the King, his Queen and their only child the Princess. he did so dutifully, and Hatteken couldn't have been more pleased for his father - yes, he eventually came to call Amori his dear father. This is where the story would end, the book would close and smiles would remain solid upon your face, but alas the world continues to spin and the story has already been spun.

In the years following, all in the land rested peacefully, but that was over with onslaught of the surprise attack by 'the people'. The citizens of the Ryōiki revolted against the royalty, their reasoning revolving around high taxes and not enough support from the family, so they decided to forcibly abdicate the Royal family from their thrones. The Knights and the soldiers had all taken an oath to protect the Royal family and that meant cutting down their own. Amori's first responsibility was to the throne, so he did just that, and protected their bodies from harm. However, the same could not be said for Hatteken who was separated from the castle during the scuffle and put in fatal danger as he was seen as a member of the regal. Absolutely torn in two... Amori left his post and rushed after to his save his son, mowing down crowds of armed citizens; cutting down his mother and father without a second thought.

He had to save his son!

As he made his way to the living quarters, from a nearby window, Amori could see the giant spire - at the top rested the throne room, where the royal family were kept safely. But suddenly, from the stain glass windows, he could see three bodies falling from a great height. It was the Regent protector, the King, Queen and Princess. Another deep scar placed on his heart. Completely stricken with disgust, the man rushed towards his living quarters, bust opened the door, and immediately fell to his knees as the sight of Hatteken hanging by a tight noose caused his body to deactivate. His baby boy frighteningly swayed.

The Royal Bodyguard failed to protect Hatteken and the Royal family. What use was he... Enomoto Amori left shortly after that and headed for Hatteken's home land, Kaze no Kuni, where he found the village of origin; Sunagakure. It was easy for him to gain admission as a citizen, his skills spoke greater than his words could ever. Amori would take a position as Jounin and... He would forever be swollen by the guilt of his actions.

Still actively roleplaying in any other threads?
Please list threads here. Upon death, roleplayers in ANY of your other incomplete thread(s) are to vote whether they can deal with your non-existence from the beginning of these thread(s). Whether you joined these thread(s) before or after you entered the battle that got you killed, you are still considered a part of these thread(s).
- If players vote yes, you get to move on to your next life.
- If players vote no, you must stay in those threads as if you were still alive.
You can still train (see: explanation of Limbo Training below) and do other OOC things, but you may NOT join any new threads. After you have completed these thread(s), post in OCR again and we will move you on to your next life.

What is Limbo Training?
This is the training that you would have gotten if you did not move on to your new character's life. Your caps are determined by your rebirthed stats. You must keep a record of your stats gained during limbo in your OCR thread. After you have finished with your old character's roleplay(s), please inform us and she will fully convert you to your new character. You may NOT request for an automatic rank up should you find that your new stats allow you to upgrade.

Things you do NOT need to state, but take note of:

(1) Jutsuz = All of your old Jutsuz retain their Ranks but if you do not meet their pre-requisites, you cannot use them. If you sell any jutsu and re-buy them in the future, you must re-start at Rank 1.

(2) Abilities = All of your Abilities are auto-untrained upon rebirth. In order to have any Abilities for your new character, you must activate them by posting a new Training Dojo topic in your new village.
*Note: You will NOT get any refund if you wish to sell any Ability.

(3) Character History = All gone. Look up the meaning of "Tabula rasa." By suiciding/rebirthing, you're making a new character. This means your new character must not know or remember anything of your old character's life/thoughts/feelings. If your new character has ANY direct/indirect connection to your old character, you MUST state that in your new character history writeup for Admin & Village approvalz.

(4) Editing Your New Character Application = Pls try not to do this! Once anyone has responded to your post, please refrain from EDITING your post. Reason being, we will not know what exactly you've edited! ]_[" If you wish to edit something in your application, post a reply to the thread.
