Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Stepping through the halls of this place he'd setup a small flyer for those that were already accepted into the corps and would look for ways of moving up and getting noticed. Zo wasnt one that would openly decided these things he did. He just went about doing them as he liked. He was an Initiator. Not a waiter in the slightest. He liked to be the one that made the first move. That was neither here nor there, Zo was trying to get the kiddies enthralled with the chance at missions with a leader that was looking to form a team worthy enough to protect the village as well as the Kage Guard.

So as he walked through the halls he'd step into a training room for the facilitation of his idea. Hopefully some would heed the call of this and would show up some would honestly stand up and want to learn from a senior officer, of sorts. Someone who earned the reigns as an ANBU enough to have the proper masks and ability with skill to overcome the ideas of interrogation, torture and loyalty to the crown of Kumogakure. Zo, was a man on a mission to become known for not only his great deeds, but his undeniable ability to keep others in check and give and take orders to a professional and less personable standard.

"Here goes nothing...", he'd silently speak as he awaited for anyone to come forth to speak and learn and maybe more.

This was one of the only times you would be able to catch Hosuto without wearing layers of clothing, a time where he was ensured to be strained physically, mentally, and emotionally so as he dressed the part. Having left his usual attire back in the barracks, instead he opted for a modest set of clothes that acted as his training attire. His torso was adorned with a standard mesh shirt many shinobi adopted in some form or fashion. His however had close knit mesh so that although one could technically see his underlying torso skin and muscles, they would have to strain their eyes to actually do so. Hosuto's lower body was clothed in somewhat baggy pants that were tailored so that they bunched up and stopped just under his knees. At this point what would have been revealed skin of his shins were covered in bandages (something also typical of shinobi) all the way down in black shinobi sandals. Both arms would also be bandaged, which went all the way to his fingertips and a black anbu mask with four brown tears under the right eye adorned his face. This mask wasn't standard but something earned through joining the Kage Guard, even though he was only a trainee.

He'd make his appearance known, first as audial footsteps down the hall then as his body came into the sight of Zo. There wasn't a mistake in Hosuto's eyes just who the man was as his features and age would define him clearly as this training regimes instructor. True to his former training both within the corps and under Akira, Hosuto would walk up to Zo leaving a mere five feet or so distance between them before taking a knee. With a backpack equipped to his backside and two belt pouches aligned just beneath it along his waistline, he'd look at Zo.

"Trainee Onyx reporting for training."

For Zo there may have been something off about Onyx, a gut instinct maybe that the youth wasn't all there in the head. This could have been because of the tone of voice Hosuto had, it was one that lacked any sort of personal identification. The trainee's voice was monotone and direct, lacking any emotional cues or traits that might have gave him a sense of a personality. Instead as far as a first encounter went, Zo would be able to assume that Onyx was stripped of personal conviction, identity, and goals. While it was not rare to see such within the Anbu ranks, for it to occur within a trainee might have meant that for Onyx the Anbu Corps was his life, his breath, and eventually would be his cause of death.

It was something of a distress to see only one person show up after seeing many hopefuls walk by. Most of them Natural ANBU and they didnt need help but Zo wanted to do what he could to make this idea of becoming better at their core abilities. Meaning the Core of what made ANBU... ANBU. So shaking the distress he'd roll his shoulders looking up to the boy that stood before him. An odd aura about him and a very direct way of approach. Though, this was all business, no play. Zo would sniff, flaring his nostrils a bit before nodding. "Trainee Onyx, I am ANBU Mori. Your training today will be a sequence of three things. Anything you wish to ask before we get started?"

He'd nod not smiling, and actually sounding bored if anything. Hyazo wasnt about to get into this until things got interesting. And right now i wasnt worth the extra effort to be enthused. The room's chilling air would seem to wave over Zo however, sending chills down his spine but he didnt openly react. His eyes would wince a bit but there were imperfections with everything that he would do. This wasnt something he woudld definitively want to do with a partner that wasnt into the process. However, sometimes you needed a level of professionalism. Zo hadnt seen anyone enthused about being an ANBU in quite a while.

There was something that had to be said about this kid coming here prepping to be in this training regiment. 'I wonder if this is a front of some sort...' he'd think to himself as he awaited the answer from the boy.

Passing down into the Sileo, the young trainee eyes caught the image of a flyer hanging off the usually barren walls of the barracks. Stopping and removing the piece of paper, Shin began analyzing it for details. Apparently who ever had designed these was offering a way for willing trainee to advance their status into the program; something that made Shin curious. He himself had already completed both a class and a mission for the program, so what possible could this anonymous figure be offering? While Shin was a cautious a person, he truly doubt that the person offering this option held malicious intentions. The ANBU program was one of the few paths he trust wholesomely, and if a senior member was giving advice, he saw no reason why he should not join. However he should properly change into something less official, seeing as while they were down here, his could be mask-less.

Stopping by his barracks to change out of his armor, Shin carefully adjusted the bandages on his chest, making sure not to irritate the large burn mark and making sure that the design of it wasn’t able to be noticed. It had been a few weeks since he his near-death experience, and he still felt irritation at the other trainees he was living when he caught them staring at it. Even in death, Shinku was an annoyance.

Fixing the bandages, he began wrapping up his legs before, putting on a pain of black pants; the garments loose enough for him to move it, but wouldn’t impend his movements. Next he put on a white hoodie, putting the hood of his head so that his face was partial covered. Standing up, he began snapping on his black sandals with his left hand, while he right clipped his mask to his pants. Satisfied, he began making his way to the location written on the paper, his hand putting on his combat gloves as he walk with a brisk pace. He made sure to have his demonic aura flare up slightly so that other trainees wouldn’t bother him on his way there, he had a feeling he would be slightly tardy to this location.

It took a few minutes for him to locate the area, causing him to walk in as the man, known as ANBU Mori, introduce himself. He didn’t question the reasoning for the trainee to be kneeling, simple walking a few feet next to him before bowing respectful in to the ANBU in charge.

“Trainee Kyōfuno reporting. Apologizes for my late arrival.” Shin said calmly. Even though his tone was filled with respect, with the small feeling of evil clinging off him like a second skin, his response would leave some doubt. But Shin wasn’t worried, those used to dealing with the types of people and operations the ANBU had to undergo would be able to determine the sincerity of his words.
