Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

[System Alert_
Objective: Locate Stone Golem.
Description: Target has unique Chakra signature that may be useful for assimilation. ]

The Alert came in, blaring across the crimson eyes of the cyborg's base features. It had unequipped it's Hyuuga puppet in an attempt to conserve chakra. It also seemed that the Hyuuga puppet armor was recognizable and attention was not something the cyborg wanted to deal with as it continued to wait for it's black box upgrade to unpack and install.

It was still a ways off from completion, however, the cyborg would need to continue its path to better functionality by following it's system directives. The current directive was ordering it to track and locate an escaped stone golem that had attacked it earlier. The cyborg had not managed to fully destroy it, and now the system was requiring that it hunt it down for study.

The chase would bring the cyborg once again into wilds of Tsukigakure as he attempted to track the trail left by the leaking chakra from the Stone Golem. The unique signature of it's chakra make up was of particular significance to the System.

The cyborg began checking the techniques it had within it's storage that could help in it's search. Several .jtsu files came up as possible techniques, however an error message popped up when the unit attempted to utilize one of them.

The cyborg's software was damaged somehow, and unable to utilze the subset of jutsu that may have helped it complete it's task. It would need to rely on other methods in order to track down this stone golem through the snowy wilds of Tsukigakure.

In lieu of those techniques, the cyborg came to the conclusion that it would once again need to rely on the visual prowess of it's Hyuuga armor. The searching capabilities of the mechanized byaugan would prove to make short work of the task at hand.

The panels of the cyborg's body began to expand and shift slightly revealing more black panels with red pinstripes. The armor began to shape the cyborgs body into the form of a Hyuuga shinobi from long ago. Once equipped, the armor's ocular sensors began searching for the unique chakra signature left behind from the stone golem. Even with the increased visual detection, it took several more minutes before the cyborg was able to locate a trail of chakra within the freshly laid snow. The golem had been through this general area, but the snow had fallen, which was hiding it's trail.

Without the use of it's Chakra Sensing .jtsu files, the cyborg would have to manually search for the stone golem. It was likely hiding, resting and healing it's injuries, so the sooner the cyborg was able to locate the Stone Golem, the weaker it would be.

Upon the mountains of Tsukigakure, there were no shortage of rocks and boulders to occupy the wild mountain region and at least another hour would pass before an alert would display upon the cyborg's vision:

[ System Notification_

It would seem that it was unable to find the golem before its system files restored it's searching capabilities. Wasting no time:

[ System: Run ChakraSense.jtsu > StoneGolem.TGT

The glowing white eyes of the mechanical Byakugan flickered as it began to process the request. It was now able to search for the chakra trail of the golem based on a different sensor than manually looking at each rock and determining it's chakra makeup, however, in the addition of the sensor boost provided by the byakugan, the cyborg was able to locate the sleeping golem wthin a cave a few kilometers from it's current location.

Now that it had the trail, it was able to quickly follow the trail of the golem. When the cyborg arrived to the sleeping stone giant's location, there was no outside visual queues that the golem was there other than the pile of rocks that inhabited a small clearing surrounded by several tall trees. Not unlike many other clearings on the mountain range, however, this unit's chakra sensors had clearly pointed out the behemoth's resting body.

As the cyborg approached, the golem drew aggro and began to re-shape it's broken body into it's giant form, not fully recovered, but clearly not as wounded as it had been the last these two sentient objects had seen each other.

The cyborg faced what was essentially a more primitive version of itself. A construct of previously inanimate material, given life, through chakra. In this moment, they were equal. They both understood one thing. One would leave here, one would not. There was another thing that was different about this meeting than when these two first met.

They were outside and alone.

Previously, the cyborg did not want to cause any undue damage to it's surroundings, so it tempered it's actions. Rather effectively. However, now, it was able to unleash a larger amount of power without damaging nearby infrastructure or civilians.

From the safety of the Tsukigakure village proper, a loud crash would be heard from the distance. Smoke could be seen emanating from the source of the sound, but when the local authorities arrived to the scene, only the charred remain of destroyed rubble and broken trees were present. It was clear that something had exploded here, but the cyborg was already gone.
