Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Ability Training
How many times had Masaru Yuuto been around this block? Training, and unlearning, retraining, and more unlearning. How many skills could one suggestively regress until they reached a pinnacle? In some ways Yuuto probably had forgotten more about fighting than he could ever learn, but that’s another story for a different time.
The main thing now was that he push himself once more to train in the art of Genjutsu. Sitting in his cell contemplating his regime, Yuuto knew that he had to begin somewhere familiar. The easiest thing he could think of, or rather skills he had focused on before was the ability to apply an elemental effect into a Genjutsu Shattering a genjutsu forcibly in order to further strain the mind of a target, [2. Shattered Reality]. Just as easily as Yuuto created the Genjutsu he had to know how to break them, and not in the sense of breaking himself out but in the sense of ending a Genjutsu so abruptly it could harm the opponent. It was a skill he had mastered before, so it wasn’t something he truly had to focus on. The key to this technique was to slowly dispel the chakra amassed from the technique and then overload the threshold with a chakra burst while discontinuing the skill at the same time. This would give you the debilitating breaking effect one looked for.

The next abilities he needed to focus on was the power to cause more pain with his Genjutsu [Mind Overflow], and the ability to change his Genjutsu’s properties so precisely it could result in an entirely different stipulation for those jutsu [Mind Crush]. The key to these two techniques worked in tandem, the latter being the most important. Precision with chakra control was like being able to form chakra into a tiny point on your finger and then doing one finger push-ups until you could reinforce your finger so much, you could do a handstand with it. So the mental equivalent would be to cast a genjutsu at one level (rank 1) and then recast the same technique but at a higher level (master rank). The biggest key to this was to alternate the a jutsu levels so frequently that you became accustomed to controlling the different edges of a jutsu. By doing this kind of training one could not only reinforce their genjutsu control, but their potency for illusions. This is what would ultimately lead to a sharper blade when piercing your opponents mind. Repetition and control were essential.

A final piece to this style was obtaining a style for Genjutsu users. The Enchanter Style, a common knowledge one could read about in the Library detailed a style for illusions. This Enchanter Style focused on being able to increase the mental damage and potency of Genjutsu while decreasing ones physical capabilities. It wasn’t the most ideal for someone who wanted to be mobile and use Genjutsu, but when you had a versatile set of checks and balances, something so tiny didn’t matter.

The next two facets of his training were Physical Capabilities and Jutsu Capabilities. For this Masaru Yuuto had to find a way to enhance his physical form while also enhancing his Jutsu’s potential. These were both areas of expertise for Masaru Yuuto so training them wouldn’t be too hard. For example with the ability to focus on an opponent and find weak points [Duelist], was trivial for his Third Eye. The third eye of the Masaru gave Yuuto a new field of perception, and by focusing on a single target, he could bring out the most in his damage output against them. However the caveat of this, was focusing so hard on one target leaves you vulnerable to others, even with three eyes. His next ability was something that he never stopped doing, it was almost synonymous with his repertoire. Yuuto always had a sort of [Jutsu Mastery] able to cast any jutsu with less chakra than others. He was certainly a master of chakra control, and after nearly 40 years of life, he was allowed to own it. The trick to lessening the chakra cost of a technique, was to strengthen smaller portions of your chakra to the point it’s as powerful and copious as larger amounts. The only way to truly achieve this was practice in casting jutsu, and chakra control exercises, which he had been doing since before the Academy.

Another special physical capability, that stemmed from his extensive knowledge of chakra and how it affects the body was a kind of [Adrenaline Rush]. He distributed chakra more violently throughout his body with the aid of his third eye gaining more vision and mental prowess in order to enhance accuracy and genjutsu difficulty. It could even speed the shinobi up causing his evasion to go up, and his mental fortitude (genjutsu save) as well. The final facet of Yuuto’s training was another one dealing with chakra distribution. Once more with the aid of his third eye, Yuuto was able to pour more chakra into a jutsu causing its strength and potency, and effects to drastically shoot up. It was basically a trump card, a way to juice his jutsu up like they were on steroids. [Jutsu Expansion]

There was something else missing from his repertoire. Now that he had come full circle in his training, he could assess what he had amassed. Yuuto's physical abilities all geared towards offense, helping him be more perceptive and to target his attacks better. His genjutsu techniques all dealt with bolstering the potency of his genjutsu's mental damage and lingering abilities. Everything Yuuto did was for the sake of being able to attack better, not at all when he was a calm collected puppeteer bending the shadows to his will. So what was missing? Yuuto realized the most simple form he forgot was his Defensive Stance, one of the most useful tools in his arsenal was something anyone could do but Yuutos came at a higher degree. He would activate his third eye in order to watch his target better. He could then focus on his dodging capabilities pouring all his efforts physically into dodging and being ready for attacks. Naturally when one was constantly braced for attacks they could inherently reduce the damage if hit. This is the power that Masaru Yuuto has amassed and come to.

Also correct me if I'm wrong but we used to have 2 Ability Slots from the ASP Shop right? Now that the limit is down to one, I think I need to be refunded for that ASP, and the ASP for my Lunar Seal since Cursed Seals were reworked.

Adrenaline Rush -> Sixth Sense
With the power of the demons running through his veins now, there was no need for Yuuto to rush into danger valiantly. He didn't have to over clock his eyes to tap into the power of his third eye anymore. Being part demon had its perks, but the biggest one was it enhancing your natural talents or acquired skills. Yuuto's natural disposition has allowed to taste many different kinds of powers, each one changing his experience in combat. The biggest thing in each style was having the mental fortitude to adapt yourself.

Yuuto now had the power to cast aside the reliance on another clan's doujutsu only needing the doujutsu he was born with, the Rotatsume [He dubbed it the Lotus Eye] . His third eye's connection to the world around him was growing. It was as if Yuuto could feel all life around him as it interacted negatively to his demonic aura. His will allowed him to affect those around, the sheer pressure of his pride would make creatures react to him. Combined with Chakra Sense Yuuto didn't need much more to keep track of his opponents.

So instead of focusing on overclocking his body recklessly with adrenaline and chakra, Yuuto would focus on being naturally aware at all times. This is what brought him to the Heartlands of Lightning Country. The three eyed shinobi sat in the base of a tree, creating a hole to nuzzle in. He'd criss-cross apple sauce his legs and begin to focus on the world around him. Yuuto used no chakra in the beginning, simply relying on his demonic aura to guide him to all lifeforms near him. Creatures scurried about scared to be near the tree, and critters like insects that were hiding in the tree would fall onto Yuuto's head and body wriggling on him paralyzed in fear. He could feel the little life forms around him, each one giving off its own aura in conjunction with his.

Demonic Aura - Passive (3 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up
A person in touch with their dark side is completely surrounded by a pervading feel of evil that inspires fear in even the strongest of shinobi. Though the power of fear is nice, the aura of doom does make it hard to win the trust of others.
Effect: Every round, every other person in the battle besides the user must make a Genjutsu Save check. If they fail, all jutsu they use that round do -10% damage and they receive -1 Genjutsu DC (stacks to -2 Genjutsu DC). This stops while under the effects of Evil Sealing.

Third Eye - Modification (3 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up, requires Sixth Sense
By unlocking the mortal restraints on their mind, the demonic shinobi can gain use of the third eye, the super sense beyond all senses. This effect replaces Sixth Sense.
Effect: +2 to all Stealth, Genjutsu Save, and Awareness checks.

Akuton - Dependent Special Move (3 points)
By channeling dark energy into a jutsu, the demonic shinobi can make their attacks more powerful and of a darker nature. This can only be used with offensive ninjutsu that directly deal damage. These jutsu are now Akuton, or evil element jutsu, in addition to their other elemental properties, so effects that would normally block or absorb elemental damage are only half as effective.
Effect: The user may convert a Ninjutsu into the 'Dark' element to increases its damage by +20% and allowing it to cut through all Ninjutsu damage reduction. Jutsu used this way cost +25% Cp and cannot have their chakra cost reduced, and this may only be done once per round.

Mind Ripper - Independent Special Move (3 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up, stat average of 150
By grabbing a victim’s head and channeling dark energy and evil will into their mind, a demonic shinobi can temporarily traumatize their opponent, lowering their will power, or in some cases, instantly destroying any hint of sanity.
Effect: Grabs an opponent’s head at -3 melee accuracy (-2 accuracy with Called Shot). Subsequently ravages their mind, inflicting a -3 to genjutsu resist for the remainder of the battle (this part is treated as a level 6 genjutsu). For the next 5 rounds, Â starting from the next round after the opponent is hit by Mind Ripper, they have a 20% chance for every action they take to go into temporary convulsions and lose that action. Every time these convulsions take place, the opponent takes 3% Max HP damage. The opponent can only go into convulsions once per round. Using Mind Ripper takes 2AP and can only be used once per battle, per target (if they miss grabbing their intended target’s head, it doesn’t count for this).

Demon Blessing - Passive (2 points)
The mind of a demon is much less susceptible to attack than that of a mere mortal, restricting Genjutsu from targeting them too easily. Being so alien to most forms of chakra, a practitioner of the mind arts will find them harder to snare.
Effect: +2 Genjutsu Save.

Daunting Presence - Boost (1 point)
Restriction- Can be taken up to two times
Demons instill a great deal of fear into their opponents. This fear can make them quite hesitant--and easier to take advantage of. Hesitation is all a demon needs to strike.
Effect: Opponents take a -1 dodge penalty during rounds where they attempt to attack the user.

Death Touch - Independent Special Move (2 points)
Demons are far stronger than mortals, naturally. So too is the energy they can channel too powerful for mortal bodies to handle, and have a heavy effect on them.
Effect: For one round, Melee Taijutsu attacks Deal twice their normal damage, however cost 2x the CP. Damage cannot be buffed by anything, but bypasses half of all damage reduction. Can only be used once every other round and twice per battle, and does not increase called shot chances.

Form of the Demon - Jutsu (1 point, 1 to rank up)
Restriction- A-Rank and up
This technique is the ultimate incarnation of a demonic ninja’s tie to his or her hellish ancestry. Releasing all bonds and restrictions, they unleash their true demonic nature, becoming a terrifying being of power and awe. The after affects are disastrous, however.
Rank 1: While Active, the user gains a +1 to all secondary stats and all jutsu are considered "Dark". This means they deal +5% damage to all damage types that does not apply to damage buff limits, and bypasses half of any damage reduction the victim may have. In addition, all damage dealt upon the user is reduced by 10% and this reduced damage is instead converted into CP for the user.
Rank 2: While Active, the user gains a +2 to all secondary stats and all jutsu are considered "Dark". This means they deal +10% damage to all damage types that does not apply to damage buff limits, and bypasses half of any damage reduction the victim may have. Masaru Yuuto has always been a versatile man, his skillset being noted to have excelled in Puppeteering, Chakra Control, Multiple forms of Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Channeling, and Ninjutsu of various elements although always being in tune with Wind mainly, and last but not least his affinity for Shadows (Although currently unavailable). Yuuto taught himself so many forms of combats so that he could be ever changing. He wanted people to never be ready for what he could dish out or what he could accomplish, So his first order of business was to re-assert his speed. Yuuto was never slow, but as of late he slacked when it came to pulling out his blades. Although for the longest he didn't need to, but now that he was back at full capacity, he felt it necessary to become more efficient. Yuuto was going to constantly be drawing weapons and items from his pouch, and in order to be completely ready he would rely on his chakra strings. His creation of the thin lined threads of chakra was a master's level, so he simply needed to focus on making sure they could pull any weight with ease. He'd utilize his reserve of corrupted chakra to ensure that his chakra threads would always be powerful, and sturdy. He would use them fluidly snapping them onto his belt pouch and finessing the line through his sack like it was a worm. He could do this instantly, and with his practiced aim, the control of the threads were never an issue.

With the realization that his chakra system was far too volatile, Yuuto was throwing the idea of control out the window. All of his puppets were designed with shock absorbers and thanks to his insight of a Manticore's sturdy and rubbery muscles, this technology was only improved. Yuuto's final step in rehabilitation of skill was to focus his efforts into his defenses and awareness. He would have to worry less about manipulating one mind and learn to extend his senses. Part of his current training regime was to feel the world around him through his demonic senses. This innate sixth sense allowed him to touch the life force and wills of those near him, his creeping will able to dilate some. The creative use in this was to feel an attacker's intent. With his keen attention for detail he could feel for an attack's pattern and counter attack based on prediction. Yuuto also had three eyes, his third eye always focusing on enemies and their advances on him. He was more than able to turn a blow back or utilize a force of chakra to deflect an attack elsewhere. He would focus on using his abilities this way rather than focus on how intense he had to make his genjutsu that were already more potent than most. He was honestly just evolving into a completely different warrior.

Masaru Yuuto has always been a versatile man, his skillset being noted to have excelled in Puppeteering, Chakra Control, Multiple forms of Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Channeling, and Ninjutsu of various elements although always being in tune with Wind mainly, and last but not least his affinity for Shadows (Although currently unavailable). He would use them fluidly snapping them onto his belt pouch and finessing the line through his sack like it was a worm. He could do this instantly, and with his practiced aim, the control of the threads were never an issue.

Yuuto stood outside on the front lawn of the Kokuren. For now this is where he was staying, and he would continue to do so until a better home came to him … or he had the money to buy one. For now he was outside because he was about to start training again. It was bad enough since his drastic loss of the demonic ability, into the light one, but now he was back to his old self. The Temporal King, he would earn this title proving why he was truly one of the finest from Kumogakure. The Sennin was going to leave behind his useless Enchanter style, well it’s not that it was useless but now that he was back to altering his molecules to move faster or slower, Yuuto would have to focus on that. His mind trained on the targets he was going to set up and knock down. How many different ways could he attack? How many different ways could he approach the situation? If he focused the Particle Movement style solely focusing on his speed how much further could he take this. Maybe born from natural speed, or his Nara mind, Yuuto was born to be the initiator in any battle. [Enchanter -> Initiative]

His other mode of battle would be much more focused on hiding his killing intent as he normally did. Yuuto was at his base, a shadow fighter. He once wielded the powerful Shadows of the Masaru Clan and learned how to be engrossed in them. Now that he was channeling the DNA of a powerful mutated Chameleon creature, he had to focus on his talents. Instead of worrying so much about if he could detect his opponents immediately, Yuuto was going to focus on if he could hide himself even more. It would simply take him to utilize his DNA on a greater scale, nothing was more obvious than that. When Yuuto thought he was hidden, he had to always assume it wasn’t good enough. He has to completely understand what that kind of pressure means, to be hidden to the night. He'd hide his presence by hushing his breath to that of a small murmur, one that even a hashigaki would have trouble hearing. He'd have to hide his footsteps and movement with sound chakra, dampening the noise he makes. Yuuto would have to ensure that every step taken out of view was a blur and a silent approach. Yuuto had to refocus himself once more, this was becoming a tiring process but necessary to become stronger. He started off the early morning reflecting on his style, he had transitioned away from Genjutsu, his Cadence control being the last stem of that training. So now that those were gone he had to make a different change this one reflecting his current transitions.

There were at least two things Yuuto wanted to truly focus on. For one he did not need to know how to create an illusion so openly strong that it left thw target receptive to more pain. It was good but considering Yuuto would have to drift away from his battle style and incorporate his past into learning a new style. So he focused on the Earth listening to the ground. With his bare feet he twirled one foot over the other until he came to a horse stance. Yuuto moved one fist up, his arm following while causing a small quake. He stomped forward and copied the motion of a wave with his arms. Another tremor followed with Yuuto then jumping forward and applying earth chakra to his legs.

Stone erupted from the ground creating a stone pillar that Yuuto planted on. He would make more motions with sturdy arm spins and stomps creating creating more pillars. Yuuto then jumped to the ground slamming his fist in the center of the ravine breaking all the pillars and collapsing the earth on himself.

Yuuto walked out of the rubble carving the rock out with his [Earth Style]. The warrior was gaining control of his new talents. He still had a long way to go in terms of mastering the Earth jutsu but he was damn closer than last week.

Yuuto started focusing on how to how to split his Taijutsu. See he was intent on becoming a powerful Taijutsu user and since he was a master Ninjutsu artist he decided to cross the two into coexistence. Yuuto utilized chakra with his unarmed brawling attacks to create a sort of physical mage style of battle.

With the Earthern style he could focus on propelling himself around the battlefield with powerful displays of his strmength. This would become his new way of combat. In order to maximize his damage potential Yuuto began working on a way to extend his punches when he did battle.

With every attack, a bit of earth or nature would follow through creating a second strike in a way. This took a perfected / trained reaction speed, something that Yuuto was adept with.

Yuuto had went about this entire process in a rather round about manner, but it was due to him wishing to test the depths of his limits. In order for him to lead a kingdom into prosperity he will have to overcome many trials and if the core of his being wasnt flexible enough neither would he.

Plus he still wished to throw off his pursuers so he hoped to add to his story by changing himself and his means. His first step was to realign his elemental core, which he accomplished easily ny absorbing a Cragbadger, a beast whose attunement with the earth reached untold heights. He was already efficient with Earth, but by casting out his aptitude for lightning and doubling the geo power, he was more able to become a monstrous earth caster.

Then he taught himself to control the element of Water. With the Mastery of that Element at his finger tips Yuuto was now able gain access to wondrous elements that he used back when he still had the powers of the Naran Shadows. Slowly and surely Mirror, Ice, Shadow, and Vapor elements would be his to control once more. In order to prepare for his cover up, he planned a whole new territory.

By mixing his natural affinity into earth with his new found control of Water, Yuuto was able to unlock the Crystal element. This ever changing element was exactly what Yuuto was looking for. A fluid form of jutsu that could serve to create structures and harden his body for his physical fighting style. However he was learning how to mix these abilities into his current style. His two chakra styles were redundant and considering that he would likely use the Molecular Displacement more, having a Earth Style was unneeded now. Yuuto would however look into making his weapons more effective. He had already learned the beauty in split attacks, it was now time for him to understand the power in expansions. Yuuto would do his normal routine of Spell based Taijutsu adding energy to his attacks. He used the earth to his advantage creating crystals that enhanced his battle versatility.

Yuuto could extend the range of his attacks at any stage of the game. If he wanted to he could use the momentum from his crystal punches and extend the crystals to reach the next target. He was continuously improving his powers and mastery over the sorcery that is Ninjutsu, while still combining it with Taijutsu. However with his ability to cause multiple fractures in the crystals and grow them, he could commit to two attacks. Yuuto was truly becoming a threat with his new power.
