Name: Mashiro Katsukawa
Age: 12
Gender: Male
General Desccription: Katsukawa is young boy that seems quite athletic. However, in appearance he looks quite feral. He rarely smiles and always seems to be a little angry at something. His dark hair compliments his rather pale skin, however his eyes are a vibrant blue showing a pop of colour in his appearance. Typically Katsukawa wears ragged travellers clothes, him being rather poor can't afford much in the way of clothing.
From his time living alone he has many scars around his body but the most notable is a large scar on his right hand. He is rather short at 4'9 inches tall but he still has time to grow. He is pretty clean and seems to shower regularly. He has a wicked smile of someone who has been through a lot and has a certain twinkle in his eyes of wonder and amazement. However this is rarely seen. Katsukawa has a necklace around his neck of a fish. The simple necklace was given to him by his Father when he turned 10. It is his most treasured item.
History: For his whole life, Katsukawa can remember one thing. The Trees. Ever since he was born he has been in their company, they watched him grow and become the man he is today. However our story begins in a small village in the Land of Fire, Katsukawa was born into the Mashiro clan. The clan was very prosperous in the small village, it being a fishing town the Mashiro clan soon began to use Water-style Jutsu to aid their fishing in secret. When Katsukawa was little he remembered they're family home. It was beautifully placed on one of the highest points in the village overlooking a bay, behind it was a large forest. He was always forbidden to go into the Forest but, as any child he was intrigued by it's mysterious darkness and large trees. One of his oldest memories is his Father teaching him how to fish, it was custom for the village to pass this tradition down to generation to generation. He became quite good at it, often he and his father would go out on the bay and fish during the day and by night Katsukawa would sneak out and explore the woods. He would often climb trees as he explored his sense of adventure never fading. One day, when Katsukawa was around 10 years old, he heard the screams when he came back out of the Forest one night, cautiously he stayed in the tree-line. The villagers have been getting annoyed by the Mashiro clan's fishing routine for a few months now, but they would never change their ways, for their clan was deeply routed in the village's history. The villagers started a riot around their family home. Houses of his relatives burned in the distance and he could hear their cries. Katsukawa ran to help his family, but to no avail. One of the men saw him and ran after him shouting incoherently at him, Katsukawa ran back into the woods where it was safe. He just kept going, getting lost amongst the trees he wandered aimlessly for days upon days until a year later he was found by a Shinobi of the Hidden Leaf, Katsukawa was barely alive, however judging by his appearance he had been surviving in the woods for quite some time. They brought him back to Konohakagure and nursed him back to health. When he awoke he learned of the Shinobi and immediately was set on his path to becoming one.
